*Sofia's P.O.V.*
Niall and I have been talking everyday and this is officially the longest time we've been apart. Almost a month and a half apart, and he thinks it'll be longer until we see each other, but I'm going to surprise him in New York. All of the boys and their girlfriends are going to Harry's Halloween concert tomorrow. Niall invited me but I told him I couldn't go because my mom told me I was traveling too much and that I needed to be home more. She did tell me that, but obviously she didn't stop me from going to New York. She knew how much I missed Niall and let me go, with the condition that when he comes to Monterrey he gets to spend time with my family so that they get to know him. As I was finishing packing up my suitcase, my phone started ringing
"Hi Soph how are you?" Harry's voice echoed through my phone.
"Really excited for the trip! And you?"
"Me too! Can't wait to see you, and I can't wait to see Niall's reaction. He's been complaining all week about the fact that everyone is going to have their girlfriends here except him." Harry laughed. And as of last month, none of the boys were single. Harry had met a girl about two months ago in New York and he had officially asked her to be his girlfriend a few weeks ago. So obviously she was coming and I was really excited to meet her, Harry hasn't stopped gushing about her.
"Oh my poor baby. I hope he likes the surprise!"
"He will. Don't worry."
"Great, and Camila will be there right? I can't wait to meet her!" Harry's girlfriend's name was Camila.
"Yeah, she's here with me already. We got here two days ago. Can't wait for the two of you to meet, you'll love her."
"I bet I will."
"At what time does your plane land?"
"It gets there at 6:30 pm."
"Perfect. I'll send you a car so that it can bring you back to the hotel so you can surprise Niall before we head out. We're all going partying tonight."
"Thank you so much Harry. See you soon."
"Bye Soph. See you in a while."
"Bye."
As soon as Harry and I hung up, I got a Facetime call from Niall. I quickly hid my suitcase and made sure none of my traveling essentials were visible, so Niall wouldn't suspect anything.
"Hi baby." I answered in a cheerful tone. I missed him like crazy, I couldn't wait to be in his arms again in a few hours.
"Hi petal. How's your morning been?"
"Pretty busy. I had to work really early. How was yours?" I lied. I had been busy, but packing, since I always pack at the last minute.
"Bummer. Mine was tiring, I just landed in New York an hour ago and now I'm headed to the hotel."
"That's great babe, say hi to the boys for me."
"Will do. It sucks that your mom didn't let you come. I'll be the only one without a girlfriend." Niall complained as he pouted.
"I know, I know. I really wanted to go." I felt bad for lying to him, but I was even more excited to surprise him.
"You know this has been the longest since we've seen each other?"
"Yes, a month and a half. Believe me, I'm counting."
"Me too. And after Harry's concert I'm headed to Europe. So another 3 weeks without seeing each other, since I'm going home to Ireland for a week after I'm done with the European leg of the tour."
"I know. But at least you're flying to Monterrey 2 and a half weeks before your show and we'll get to spend time together."
"Yeah, the silver lining. Oh and you're coming with me to my other two concerts in Mexico right?"
"Of course baby. I wouldn't miss them."
"Perfect, more time to see each other!" He smiled at me.
We continued talking for another half an hour until he got to the hotel. We said our goodbyes and I told him that I had booked a Spa appointment with my mom for the evening so I wouldn't be able to use my phone. That way he wouldn't suspect a thing. I didn't want to use the meeting excuse again or he might get suspicious. I wanted to catch him off guard.
7 hours later I landed in New York. It felt so good to be in the same city as my boyfriend, even if he didn't know it yet. I decided to text him and Harry as soon as I landed.
S: Hi Nialler, just got out of the spa. It was so relaxing.
S: How's your day been? Having fun with the boys?
And to Harry I texted the following:
S: Hi Harry. Just landed, so I guess I'll be out of the airport in about an hour tops.
H: Perfect. The driver is on his way.
S: Thanks
After going through customs, which was less crowded than I had expected I went to collect my luggage before heading outside. It had taken me less than 45 minutes. As soon as I walked through the doors I found a guy holding a piece of paper that read my name so I approached him and made our way to the car. Niall had texted me back about 10 minutes ago and I still hadn't replied
N: Boring, boring, boring. Everyone is here with their girlfriends.
N: I feel left out. Wish you were here love.
S: I'm really sorry babe. We can talk through Facetime later tonight.
N: Yes please. And we're going partying to a new club later tonight, so please keep me company.
N: Even if it's from afar
S: Will do, don't worry.
It took us 45 minutes to get to the hotel, so it was already 8 pm by the time I got there and Harry had told me they would leave for the club at 9:30 pm. I had about 30 minutes to surprise Niall and then an hour to get ready. It was perfect! I called Harry
"Hey I just got to the hotel." I spoke.
"Great. The elevators are to the right of the main entrance. We're all on the 17th floor."
"Perfect. Is Niall in his room?"
"Yeah, I suppose. We're all in our rooms. His room is 1723"
"Thank you. See you in a while. I'm going to go surprise him." I told him as I got in the elevator.
"See you Soph." I was so excited. As soon as I got to their floor I decided to Facetime Niall, to make sure he was in his room.
"Hi petal." Niall greeted me, and he was indeed in his room. He was laying on the bed, just like always. I made sure that only my face was visible in the screen as I continued walking towards his room.
"Hi baby. How are you?"
"Better now that I'm talking to you."
"Me too." And as soon as I reached his door I told him my mom came into my room so I muted the call and turned off the video. I knocked on the door before hollering "Room Service." and then unmuted the call and told
him my mom had left already.
"Wait a second. Someone just knocked on the door." Niall spoke as he got up from the bed.
"Yeah, go check." I told him, trying to hide my smile. I stood in front of the door, and Niall took his phone with him to the door. He opened the door immediately.
"Soph." His eyes lit up as he picked me up and twirled me around before kissing me. "What are you doing here?" He asked as he put me down, the smile never leaving his face.
"I'm here to see you dummy. You think I was going to go 2 months without seeing you? Of course not."
"I'm so glad you're here. I can't believe it. How? How did you know which hotel we were staying at?"
"Harry helped me. The surprise was his idea actually." I admitted.
"Holy shit. I'll have to thank him. I honestly thought that I was going to be the only one without a girlfriend this trip and so far it had been so shitty."
"Well, worry no more. I'm here."
"Thank god, I'm so glad you're here baby. Thank you, I love you." Niall said as he picked up my bag and carried it inside.
"I love you too babe." I replied before kissing him. It felt so good to finally be able to kiss those rosy lips of his after such a long time of being apart. The time we spent apart, made me really appreciate the moments we got to be together and to try to enjoy them as much as I could.

I also have a Harry fanfic that I've put on hold so that I can concentrate on this one, but I decided to include the female lead of that book in here as well even though I haven't written a lot on the other book yet!
