Married to a popular wealthy family had it's perks but for Adilah it was now a nightmare, family that wasn't so wealthy anymore because her grandfather stole from them, crippled their poultry and grounded B.D to the ground, Adilah only learnt of this when she went back to Kano. The blogs kept posting rumors that Abdulmaleek and his family were ousted from their company but Adilah only thought they were rumors meant to get attention, she had once playfully mentioned it to Abdulmaleek and he just went along with it.
"OMG these blogs are hilarious wallahi, did you see the latest on northernelites? Wai cewa sukayi wai an koreka a aiki" she laughed to it,
He just looked at her and lousily discarded it "well can you blame them? It's their job to make rumors worthy of reading"
Only to go back home and find the her family stole from her husband's, she was torn apart, and not only that she assumed it was why her husband sent her home. Now the blogs started another rumor, except this time they had a video to back up their story, a video of Abdulmaleek step down from a G-wagen and firmly embracing his old love, people clapping as his face lit up in a bubbling smile and tears from the side of his eyes, and the "awwwwnnn" chants. Her face wasn't shown in the video but her name was stated there, and then a few wedding pictures of her and Ajeay, Northern Elites claimed that the wedding started with Ajeay but Abdulmaleek ended up marrying Tahira. And then there was some story about how she was the one he wanted to marry from the beginning but was forced by his father to marry Adilah. Apparently the blogs didn't know Abdulmaleek at all if they believe he was forced to do anything, but now it made her wonder if indeed he was forced to marry her.
Anger boiled in her system, like a volcano ready to erupt at any moment, she paced the room searching for balance for something to hold down how her heart was boiling, she knew it was too much for her. The rage within her she knew would force her to do absolutely anything, now everyone knew her husband loved or rather loves another and that she wasn't happy, she was a laughing stock, the comments on the blogs were not in her favor at all.
What was more infuriating was the fact that now her husband had another wife, another body to legally touch, another woman to call his, someone she could clearly not contend with when it came to the matters of his heart.
She dropped on the couch, eye full of tears that waited for no permission to fall down, maybe Abdulmaleek will decide to divorce her, she won't blame him after everything she heard. How does she even confront him, what would she have to say? She heard Lala's voice greeting and asking where she was, she did not attempt to hide the state at which she was when Lala opened the door to the room and walked in.
She rushed to her side, Adilah collapsed on her she and started crying in a very loud tone. "It's okk, I got you" Lala hugged her tighter "you'll be fine"

LALA
I decide to spend the night, I called Mukki to ask for permission, he wasn't too happy but he allowed it. I struggled to get her to calm down and stop crying, the first thing I did was to take away her phone, my reasons being that she could not continue to see all these social media nonsense and how strangers just commented on something they knew nothing about. 2- I could not risk her calling Abdulmaleek at the state she was in, she needed to calm down and not call him at all, if anything granddaddy should have called to find out why she was sent home in the first place but considering everything he didn't have the audacity to do that, in fact granddaddy seemed pleased with the situation.
The maid was sent in to call Adi, granddaddy wanted to see her, no doubt the news of Abdulmaleek remarrying had reached him. I waited as she went on to see him, and frankly I waited because I wanted to call Abdulmaleek himslef. Adi said he didn't divorce her but seeing that he remarried poses the question on whether he did and Adi is hiding it.
The phone rang a couple of time but there was no response, I had to talk to him so I wasn't about to give up after all it was 10am in the morning, I know he got married yesterday but he must be up at this time. He picked up on the fifth call "Hello" his voice husky but low, maybe he was sleeping.
"Senior!" I called him that because he and I were friendly and that was what his friends called him.
"Na'am, an tashi lafiya?"
"Alhamdulillah" the line went quiet for a little, it was awkward for both of us "I hear congratulations are in order" I finally added
Hmmmm was all he said and then the awkward silence again, "Abdulmaleek" I finally called him out "yeah?"
"What's going on?"
"Nothing, why???" He replied, and I wondered why he was deflecting, I mean he knew why I was calling. And another dead silence
"Abdulmaleek why is my sister home???"
"Why don't you ask her"
"I did she doesn't know, which is why I am calling you"
"Ask her again then but certainly she knows something, I didn't just up and told her to leave"
"Did you divorce her?" He kept quiet for a minute "is that what she told you?"
"No! I am asking you, I mean she's here and you remarried so.."
"I didn't divorce her, but Lala your sister..." he paused, and then he added "she's becoming violent, and that's just one out of a thousand reasons why I felt she needed to take some time off"
"Violent???" I asked, I mean it's surprising that Adi would behave violently.
"Why don't you ask her about it, and when you do maybe bring her to her senses I am done tolerating her"
"Abdulmaleek..."
"Thank you for calling Lala" with that he hung up.
Ending my phone call on one hand I heard loud arguments, It was granddaddy, I rushed to the living room to see what was going on. Adilah was on the floor crying. "Kina gida, yayi aure ki ce bai sake ki ba.." Was what i walked into
"Granddaddy bai sake ta ba fa, da bakin sa ya fada min" I tried to confirm that to my knowledge Adi was still married.
"Toh dolen sa Ya sake ta, mu ba kananan mutane bane. Ku shirya gobe zamu Kadunan" granddaddy complained, like really he was one to speak? All this was probably his fault, when I found out what happened to B.D farms, the only reason I wasn't surprised that Adi didn't come back home sooner was because I knew Abdulmaleek wasn't impulsive. With that he went back inside, I took a seat on the couch while Adi was still on the floor.
"This marriage is to young to die Lala, why did he do this to me" she wiped her running nose with a tissue "The worst is I can't even confront him with what this family did to his, in fact it makes total sense if he did this for revenge"
"You know Abdulmaleek is not like that, look just calm down.."
"Granddaddy said he was going to find me a new husband, I told him Abdulmaleek did not divorce me but you as well as anyone heard what he said"
"Well you have the option of letting things play out if you want an end to the marriage, which I won't advise Adi, you might be going into a worse situation, Abdulmaleek has his flaws but.."
"but he married her anyway because it is now evident that I had everything to worry about even when he told me it was over between them" she interrupted after which she sniffed as her running nose was trying to keep her from breathing properly. "I can't go back there" she added and that was what I was afraid of...

TEEMAH
There was no rest for wicked, nor sleep for the vicious, nay never shall the crooked have peace, nor shall matters work to their accord. I shall not forget the vow that I made, to bring the men who defiled me to justice.
Being on the run take it's tole on you, paranoid, Shady, always watching my back. Even as I make my final attempt to get the right people to stand by my side and help me win, my nerves are a wreck suspecting everyone including my friends.
"Teemah what can I do for you?" She asked coming down from the stairs, she was still the most beautiful woman I have ever met, Hajiya Zeenat. She was the most skilled woman I have ever met in the business, we call her ghost and yes she was exactly like James Saint Patrick. She works behind the scenes, the most riches men spend the night with this woman and pay her in millions and I don't mean small millions like 5,10, or even 20. To top it all, the woman was married and her husband seem to have zero knowledge of this, or maybe he pretends not to know, or maybe she voodoo his brains. I really don't know but Zeenat is the end game. She was in her 40's or so but even younger men would rather have her.
How do I know all this??? The Barrister and I had an issue because of her sometime ago, to cut the story short the Barrister had to have Zeenat even when she was way above his pay grade so he sacrificed my allowances for a year just for a night with this woman. And of course I was a no pay no action kinda girl, the Barrister was up to his neck in debt at that moment because after a night with her he had to go for 2 more. Now Zeenat was the most powerful underground woman there is, she works men like magic, and I needed that influence.
"Thank you for meeting me, you are not an easy woman to find"
"If it was easy, you wouldn't need me" she smile and her face glowed, I was lost for a moment in her beauty. "I know why you're here, so tell me what you want me to do for you?"
"I have everything to bring the Barrister down, all I need is someone to make sure I get heard"
She smiled, a smile that made me feel like even the moon and the stars would line up to see "Look Teemah, I know a lot about you and I must say you have done so well for yourself, forget the Barrister he is a small fish, let me groom you and make you the object of every man's desire" just as she was in close range to me her hands landed softly on my face and her tender smooth hands rubbed slowly on my cheeks. "You are quiet a beauty but I can make you more than you could ever imagine"
Zeenat could probably win over any woman or man she wanted, she was very mesmerizing, truth be told her offer was tempting and honestly a long time ago this was my dream but now I had one goal in this world.. revenge "as tempting as this sounds, I cannot forget what was done to me, will you help me or not???.."
