Two days have passed ever since Osamu got out of the hospital. He finally went back to his normal life, and of course he added visiting (Y/N) to his routine. It was early morning when the Miya twins were on the sixth floor reception area inside the Hyogo Medical Center to visit her.
"Samu, I'm gonna ask the receptionist if (Y/N)'s awake." Atsumu went ahead, leaving his brother behind. He shrugs and takes a seat on the waiting area,
Osamu thought everything would be fine until,
"CALL A DOCTOR RIGHT NOW IN ROOM 606. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!"
"Someone call Kira-san as well!"
"We're losing her.."
His eyes widen upon hearing those three words coming from a nurse. He felt his whole body tremble and covered his mouth. He knew that room so well because he's been there for 6 days, and also,
That room was (Y/N)'s room.
He saw a familiar nurse, who's rushing with a horrified and tired look on her face, she looked like she hasn't got her rest yet.
"K-Kira-san.." Osamu calls, making Kira jolt her head into his direction.
"Sorry Osamu-kun, I-I'm busy right now.. maybe in another time alright?" Kira forced a smile and patted his head before rushing again, leaving Osamu alone with a feeling of great anxiety.
"Samu? Oh there you are! The girl on the receptionist said that (Y/N)-chan is still sleeping and we can't visit her yet. Where have you been? And ya face looks like you've seen a ghost.." Atsumu waves his hand around his face to see if he's doing alright, he may not have noticed what the gray haired twin witnessed, or rather overheard.
"I.. don't know.."
Osamu manages to say with an audible voice, making his brother shrug and pushing him towards the elevator to go to their school. His brain couldn't function well as of the moment, he didn't know what's happening, but one thing is for sure that,
He desperately prays for (Y/N) to be alright.

The day continues, and Osamu couldn't stop thinking about (Y/N). He would remember the flashbacks on how the doctors rushed straight to (Y/N)'s room the moment someone said there's an emergency. With the great anxiety that he feels for her, he may have almost forgotten to eat his lunch and didn't even bother to eat his snacks.
It was their practice time in their volleyball club when Osamu couldn't take it anymore, he wanted to see for himself and know if (Y/N) is alright. Kita, being the caring captain he is, immediately sensed that something's not right for the other Miya brother.
"Kita-san, I-I'm not feeling well right now.." Osamu finally admits, his voice full of fear and worry.
"Why? Are you having a fever?" Kita went to his junior's direction and placed his hand on his forehead. Everyone's eyes are on the two, slightly feeling concerned for the gray haired twin because maybe he's not yet feeling well. Kita raises his brows as he feels Osamu's temperature normal, and he continues to observe the gray haired twin. Afterall, it's only been two days ever since he got out of the hospital.
"You don't seem to have a fever, but you really looked pale today. Did you eat enough lunch today?" Osamu couldn't understand what Kita was saying anymore, his mind wandered off to a (H/C) haired girl that he desperately wanted to see since a while ago morning.
He wants to know what happened, he needs an explanation.
"I-I need to go.. sorry.."
He looked away and started running towards their locker room, leaving everyone in shock. Atsumu was able to gain his composure first and ran after his brother, he was confused on why he desperately wanted to see (Y/N). Maybe because he hasn't seen him the whole day, and he thinks that's already too much for his brother to not be by her side even if it's only for a day. He finally caught up with his twin and started speaking.
"Why are you skipping practice??" Atsumu blocks his own brother from leaving the locker room. Osamu gave him a glare as if he was just playing around or that they couldn't practice their soul-swap spike.
"Tsumu, you have no idea what I saw." Osamu was about to push his brother, but he was pinned on the lockers by Atsumu to prevent him from leaving.
"I told you we can visit her before going to school and after practice! I also wanted to visit her, Samu!" Atsumu grabs the collar of his shirt, making an irk mark appear in both of their heads.
"But she's important—"
"But volleyball practice is also important too because Nationals is coming—"
"I know that and we still have another year in highschool ya idiot! But with (Y/N)'s condition getting worse each day do ya think she can have another year of life?!" Osamu finally spits out, making Atsumu surprised and his eyes wide open.
"Don't say things like that—"
"THEN WHAT ELSE CAN I DO TO MAKE HER STAY? TO MAKE HER LIVE?" Osamu desperately shouts back to Atsumu, and this time, the blonde haired twin becomes speechless.
"W-What?"
"TSUMU! TELL ME!" Osamu's tears start to fall, which is rare for Atsumu's twin brother. It loosen his grasp that made him look at his brother with a pity look, suddenly feeling guilt inside.
"I.. I don't know."
Atsumu quietly replied. He doesn't know what to say, and also he doesn't know what to feel. Osamu gave him a look with his red stained eyes, and ran into another direction that led to Hyogo Medical Center where (Y/N) is. Atsumu stood there frozen as he was still trying to process what happened between him and his own brother. In all his honesty, he felt confused and surprised to see him that way, because,
That was the first time Osamu cried for someone else.

'She seems to be alright now.. but she's gotten paler and thinner..' Osamu thought and let out a sigh of relief.
He even ran from school until the hospital, and the moment he opened her room she was walking around her room feeling fine. He was definitely confused because it was like nothing happened to her at all, like the incident that he saw a while ago morning didn't happen in the first place.
Osamu now finds himself listening and also conversing with the (H/L) haired girl.
"You know I still keep thinking about the dreams that I wanted to achieve."
"What are your dreams?"
Does she even remember what happened a while ago?
He tried to study her face, but it seems like nothing happened to her. Osamu wanted to believe that, however with how thinner and paler she got today, he himself is unsure right now.
".. my last dream is that I want.. to be with you.. for the rest of my life.. until I die.."
'until I die..'
It gave him unusual goosebumps as those words keep replaying on his head, feeling worried and anxious at the same time. Osamu didn't like to hear that word, especially when it's coming from the fragile (H/C) haired girl beside him.
"What?"
"Even if I were to die, I'd make sure to keep the promise I made to you, that I'll be yours when I finally get my freedom in this world."
"How would you do that?"
"I'd always be in your heart, wherever you go and whatever you do. I may not remember what happened, but I believe that my feelings for you would stay.. well that's what I wanted to believe.." (Y/N) lets out a soft laugh, making Osamu nervous about what she just said. Afterall, the (H/C) haired girl can be pretty mysterious, not that he's complaining.
"You sure always say the craziest things, (Y/N)—"
"Sorry." She suddenly cuts him off, and the anxiousness that the gray haired twin feels intensifies.
"W-Why would you say that?"
"I'm sorry I made you worry, Samu, I didn't tell you about what you saw me a while ago.. I really get those attacks sometimes.." (Y/N) sweatdrops and scratches the back of her neck, making the gray haired twin more confused and surprised.
"H-How did you know?"
"Kira-san told me about it."
"Y-You don't have to apologize.. but (Y/N).. are you sure you're really going to be alright?" Osamu felt his lips tremble as if he was about to burst into tears.
Suddenly, the (H/C) haired girl pulled his arm that made him fall on her shoulders. She gently wraps her arms around his neck, feeling the warm tears on her clothes coming from Osamu.
"It must have been awful seeing me huh, Samu.. how lame of me.." She whispers to his ear, and that's when Osamu couldn't take it anymore. Tears continued streaming down his face as he gently grasped her sleeves.
'She feels colder each day..' Osamu sadly thought.
"(Y/N).. please.."
"You look so built, but you are actually a baby inside. There there, Samu.."
It definitely broke (Y/N)'s heart seeing Osamu cry. She carefully strokes his soft gray hair as she gently nuzzles her face towards his neck to comfort him. Truly, (Y/N) is forever grateful for him, she didn't expect to meet Miya Osamu in her life, who's willing to do everything just for her to be happy and continue to fight and live her life to the fullest. When he just met him, (Y/N) thinks that she doesn't deserve a person like Osamu to exist in her life,
But maybe, even if the world can be cruel sometimes, it can also give someone the best in life.
After a while, Osamu finally calmed down from crying. At first, peace couldn't take over his heart, because he fears that,
One day he may not hold her in his arms like this anymore.
But unexpectedly, a wave of sleepiness starts to take over his body system. His current thoughts were suddenly drifting away and replaced by a mindset of wanting to sleep. (Y/N) may have noticed it too, with how heavy his body feels as minutes passed by.
"Hey (Y/N), can I sleep here? Just so my thoughts won't keep me awake.." Osamu sleepily mumbles at her ear, making the (H/C) haired girl weakly chuckle.
How nostalgic must it feel for the two to sleep together again.
"Well, it's been a while ever since we did this together.." She smiles at the tired gray haired twin after all that he had been through for today.
With that, Osamu carefully laid down beside her and gently wrapped his arms around her waist, the way (Y/N) always loves it. She shifted her position that made her face the gray haired twin who stares at her with his gray orbs full of affection. (Y/N) nuzzled her face on his broad chest, making Osamu lean down to plant a kiss on her forehead. She blushed upon the soft lips that touched her, giving her the goosebumps. Finally, the wave of sleepiness also entered her body system.
And the two slept peacefully that night in each other arms once again, without being disturbed by the world.
