(Y/n)'s POV
"3 years... I've been training... For 3 Whole Full Bloody Moon Years...." You panted and suddenly slammed the table as you leaned in. (A/n: Ur 10 years old now.)
"WHEN AM I GONNA SLAY SOME DEMONSSS??!!!!" You whined at your father which he in return gave a irritated look.
"Tch, I told you a bunch of times. I HAVEN'T FOUND YOUR ELEMENT YET!!!!!" He screamed back as he leaned in. The both of your foreheads touching.
"IS IT THAT HARD TO KNOW?!" You screamed.
"YES IT IS CAUSE YOUR MORE SPECIAL THAN I THOUGHT! MORE SPECIAL THAN GRANDFATHER AT LEAST!" He screamed back.
"EHHHHHHHH???? YOUR KIDDING ME! I'M JUST A MERE (F/N) RYŪSEI'S DAUGHTER!"
"I'M NOT KIDDING! AND OF COURSE MY CHILDREN IS SPECIAL, BECAUSE THEIR MY CHILDREN AND I'M THE FATHER!" Father pointed a finger at himself.
"WELL, SERVES YOU RIGHT CAUSE YOUR RIGHT! YOUR THE ONLY AND GREATEST FATHER I HAVE!"
"OF COURSE AND YOUR THE BEST DAUGHTER I EVER HAVE! SO THAT'S WHY YOU NEED TO GIVE.ME.TIME!" He slapped the back of your neck, making you hit the table with your forehead.
"Ah ah ah! Itai itai...!" You muttered as you grabbed hold of your hurting head.
Your father sighed. 'This kid...' He stood up and opened one of the cabinets in the room. Your eyes following his figure.
Then, (F/n) grabbed hold of something and placed it at the table. It was a Katana. The black scabbard contained a beautiful craving of a Dragon while it's handle was a shining sliver.
"This." He pushed it slightly towards me and looked me in the eye. "Will be yours now." He said. Your eyes immediately sparkled in the sight of the beautiful Katana. You carefully grabbed hold of it as if it's a baby.
When you opened it, you notice that the Katana wasn't a normal Katana, it had writings; 龍生鬼殺し家族.
(A/n: it means Ryūsei, Demon Slaying Family. Yes I translate it.)
"Father..." I muttered as I examined the sword.
"It's a Nichirin Sword, more exact, my Nichirin sword. The only sword that can kill Demons passed down by your grandfather. He gave it to me before the Final Selection. This sword will be your temporary sword. Don't break it. Alright?" He patted your head and gave you a soft smile. You nodded.
"Understood father!" You exclaimed, holding the Katana close to you.
"Also, a quick fun fact. Nichirin Swords change colour when you acquire a certain degree of swordsmanship skills." He said. He stood up and ruffled your head.
"Make me proud kiddo." He grinned and walked out of the room. You took a quick glance at your Katana and smiled brightly.
'This could be my second step of becoming a Demon Slayer..'
So, for the next week's maybe months. I tried my hardest to master some tricks with my sword. Father also told me some Dragon Breathing techniques that I still couldn't get a hang on but I kept training. Increasing my swinging speed, anything and everything. I wanted to accomplish it. I want to make father proud. My little brother looking at me with awe. I want... EVERYONE TO BE PROUD OF ME!
