Nightmare was flipping through some channels on the TV inside the Star Sanses base while Blue was texting someone, most likely his brother. Dream had left somewhere a while ago and hasn't come back yet, a little suspicious to say the least. Nightmare stopped flipping through channels, placing the remote next to him as he leaned back and munched on some chips he stole from Dream a little earlier. Things were... awkward when he woke up. Nightmare had almost thrown Blue out of the closest window if Dream weren't their to suddenly catch the flying berry. Looking to his right while commercials were on he peeked at the texts Blue was sending, huffing when the smaller let out a surprised squeak and almost threw his phone. "It's only me. Chill." Blue grumbled something, sighing. "Hey Nightmare, need something?" Nightmare couldn't answer him, as Dream came rushing through a glowing golden portal all of a sudden holding something in his arms. "GUYS!"
"GOD-" Blue fell off the couch, poking his head up to give a playful glare at Dream. "DO YOU THINK IT'S DEAD!?" That perked Nightmare's interest, the octopus clicked off the show he had been watching (It was My Little Pony) and wandered over towards his bro-sorry Nope. Dream. "What is?" Nightmare gazed at the small fluffy shape in Dream's arms, curled up in a tight multicolored ball of white, orange, and brown. Nightmare frowned, poking it gently with its finger. It didn't move. Blue walked over eventually, gasping. "It's a kitten! Where'd you find it?" Blue had stars in his eyes but his voice was laced with concern for the poor creature, its breaths shallow as it didn't dare move from its curled position. "I was in an AU's Snowdin and found him lying under a tree by itself. When I walked towards it, I could sense large amount of negative energy from it." Dream frowned, looking at the fragile creature in his arms. Nightmare watched, sighing. "Give him here." Dream watched as Nightmare shifted into his passive form and gently snatched the calico kitten from Dream's arms, walking over to the nearby couch and sitting down, the kitten cuddled close to his chest. "Blue can you get me a towel or blanket?" Blue was staring a little dumbfounded, Dream has told him about what happened to his brother but he had assumed he couldn't shift back so it was a surprise to the smaller. "Blue! Quickly!" That got him out of his thoughts, he quickly raced over into the kitchen and grabbed a fluffy white towel on a shelf above the sink. Throwing- I mean handing it to Night before poking his head from over his shoulder. Night glared but took the towel off his face before wrapping The kitten in it, laying back and rocking it gently.
"Do you think it'll live?" Dream approached, sitting a few inches from Night as he glanced at the small form. "It should, it was just incredibly cold." Night gently rubbed the kittens back, keeping it close. "If you want brother, I can do it." Night paused. Dream called him brother. Taking in a sharp breath he nodded and handed it to Dream who smiled and quickly copied Night's actions. "Your positive Aura should help." Night shifted back into his corrupted form seeing as he didn't need to hold them anymore. "Can we keep him!" Blue walked over on the other side of Dream, sitting down and leaning over to look at it. It's breathing was stable again. "No."
"Yes!" Nightmare and Dream responded at the same time, looking at each other. "Please Nightmare!" Dream begged, looking at his counterpart with a pleading look. "No. Too much care and I'm not going out to buy supplies." Not to mention the fact cat fur would get stuck in his goop. "Me and Blue will take care of everything! You don't have to do any work! Just don't step on him!" Dream stared at Nightmare, the negative counterpart staring back. Dream then used his puppy eyes, being cute. "Fiiiiine. You act like such a fucking child." Nightmare grumbled, leaning back on the couch farther. "Oi! Watch your flippidy dippity language in front of Blue." Dream shot back, glaring. "Dream! I'm not a child!" Nightmare said something under his breath, huffing as Blue sighed and walked to go to the store for supplies. "Oh! While I'm gone you two should think of a name!"
"Leave!" Nightmare hissed, throwing a book right at Blue who was in the doorway. Blue yelped, quickly closing the door as the book slammed into the wood where he used to be standing. "Not nice." Dream mumbled, attention on the kitten again. "Don't care, not my fucking problem." Dream sighed, seeming as he was getting nowhere. "Catch!" Seconds later the TV remote was yeeted into Nightmare's face. "What the hell!" Nightmare hissed, throwing the remote back onto the wooden table in front of him as he glared at Dream. "Calm your attitude dude." Was the only thing Dream said before turning back to rocking the kitten in his arms. "What should its name be?" Dream said quietly, smiling as he heard faint purrs from the calico. "Don't know, don't care." Nightmare mumbled, turning the TV back on to watch My Little Pony. Dream sighed, leaving him alone. "Daze..." Nightmare glanced over at Dream. "Pardon?" He asked, turning his gaze towards his counterpart. "His name is Daze." Nightmare huffed, not sayin anything else towards Dream. "Daze it is then!" Blue yeeted himself through the door, carrying 2 shopping carts of supplies. "IM BACK!"
"SHI-" It was Nightmare's turn to fall off the couch this time, landing face first on the carpet. "How much did you even get Blue!?" Dream stood, kitten in his arms as he looked at all the shopping carts. "A lot. But I can list them all! 5 bags of kitten food, 2 tubs of litter, a litter box, a lot of cat treats, a bunch of toys, I didn't get a collar since I figured we'd get one when he's older, claw clipper, food bowls, a brush, mini cat condo, and Error! Wait, whut." Blue checked next to him again to come face to face with none other then Error. "AAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
"AAaAaaAaAAaAaa!" Dream kept looking between Blue and Error, not sure what to do until Nightmare slid up next to him and grabbed Error with one of his goopy octopus tentacles. "What brings you here Error?" Nightmare growled out, an amused look crossing his face. Blue was curled up in a ball asking himself what the meaning of life is. "BlUe wAs OUt ShoPiNG sO I wAlkEd UP tO hiM bUT i DidN't NoTIcE thE tAG sTiLL oN mY CoAt. ThE CaShiEr wAsN'T lOokInG AnD grAbBEd MY sLeeVe, THeN bLue FoR SoMe rEaSOn YeeTed ME iNto ThIS sTupId WIrEd cArt AnD HeRe i Am." Nightmare sighed and facepalmed at him, placing him back down. "Go back. Your not allowed here." Nightmare growled, ignoring Dream and Blue. Error shrugged. "NaH ThInk I'll StAy AwHiLe." Error walked over to the couch, plopping Himself down. Nightmare would have ordered him to go back but he wasn't currently in charge of his gang, the only people Error would listen to right now Would be Ink, the gang, and the Chara's. Though he was sure if he was intimidating enough he could have ordered Error to go back, but was curious to see how long it took Ink to realize he wasn't there and run around trying to find him.
"This will be interesting." Dream walked over to sit next to Error, offering a smile and watching as the small calico kitten trotted out of his lap and sat down next to him. Dream smiled, offering a hand for it to sniff. Error looked down, interest taking over his gaze. "WhEn DiD yOu GuYs GeT a KiTtEn?" Error piped up, looking at Nightmare who groaned and sat down. "None of your business." Error looked amused, but didn't say anything else. "What did you name him?" Blue asked, walking over. Daze sat down on Dream's lap, using his small pink tounge to lick himself. "We named him Daze."
"You did, not me." Dream rolled his eyes, smiling and stroking him on the head. "So cute!" Blue sat down next to Dream, letting him sniff his own hand before giving it a small scratch under the chin. Daze purred a little louder, laying on Dream's lap content. "CaT's, ThEy'Re AlL tHe SaMe." Error muttered. Daze perked his ears, his head up as he looked at Error with his green eyes. Daze stood, then sassily walked into Error's lap, laying down. "HEY!" Error hissed, looking down at him. Daze huffed, no intention to leave. "Looks like you got a buddy Error."
"SHUT UP!"

A/N: Well, here's another chapter to all of you who are still reading this story. Looks like Error will momentarily drop in with the Star Sanses and Hentai Octopus man. Also, small little Daze will be joining the Star Sanses for a little bit so yaaaay! I'm really sorry for the long wait, but I'm hoping to get more into typing chapters for this for you guys. Would you want me to move away from humor and focus more on the main bigger plot or you fine with how it is now?
