R: Questions:
- What's shifting? (Ref to last chappie)
Okey so I know this isn't the usual thing but I want to open with this question that R has just asked. (I'm Jennifer by the way. And I don't use BTW....shit I just did)
So back to the question..
Shifting..
Poor child, you would not survive in Ireland..like at all. Oh and you can ask me to explain any phrase that Irish people use and I'll try answer it well (if I know what it is..)
So shifting.
It would be something like a full on 'making out' kinda thing in America I guess. Most of the time it is with the tongue and I was NOT going to swape siliva with a guy who played this weird guy in a play who sung a puppet song. I was like 'what is this crap?! It's burning my ears!' But really making out is basically shifting someone in Ireland. Making out is way too much of a happy go lucky word for us Irish.
So how have I been doing, I hear you all secretly ask, so secretly that you yourself don't know that you are thinking that. But I know...

Speaking of French, we have this french substitute in for that crazy, depressed teach, and she is the most annoying thing to grace this earth.
"Right...Okey..."
That's all she ever says. Literally. We counted and she said 'right' 83 times which is almost an unbelievable amount. And to make it worse she wears the very same clothes every day. A black and white strippy top (which by the way does nothing for her figure..) a black cardigan, black pants, black clothes and a black coat. Her variety of colourful clothes blows my mind sometimes.
Sarcasm is the best thing ever!
So what else has been up for me..
THE PRODUCEERS
It's a play put on in the local theatre. They put one every year and it's first time I've ever went to it. So full on excitement right there guys!
And that is NOT sarcasm. How sad am I?
I've only been to see plays three times before (inclucing the produceers) so yeah it was exciting.
The first time I went I was like 5 or 6 and Snow White was on. Amazeballs, I know!
...Omg...I wrote loads more and it just disappeared...
Awkward..
AND ANNOYING! *angry face*
So now where was I?
Right so I went to a play when I was like 5 or 6. And you know the typical thing where the person is like:
"Where are they?"
"They're behind you!"
"Where?
"Behind you!"
"Where?"
"behind you......."
"Where?"
"OMFG! THEYRE F*CKING BEHIND YOU! YOU IDIOTIC DIMWITED SHIT!"
"........"
Ok so that's a tad dramatic and overboard. Especially for a 5 or 6 year old. Unless they talk like that nowadays. To be honest, you'd never know. They could perfectly well be saying stuff like that at home an in school.
....*cough*brat*cough*....
BUT..."The produceers" was amazingly funny. It's a movie and a remake was made in 2005 with Will Ferrell as the German guy who wrote the play 'Springtime for Hitler'. He's like:
"I AD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WAR! I didn't even know there was a war on. I was in the back, beside Switzerland. All we ever heard was yooudling"
T'was a funny moment!
And the directors assistant was the funniet dude on the stage and off the stage. He ran (or maybe glided would be a better word) across the stage all the time. His hands were like over his shoulders the whole time. And the weird thing is that he is like that in real life. I know right! AWESOME!
So yeah watch it! NOW!!
I've been told that I am aggressive but I don't see it .....
