Rae is a kind hearted, intelligent women. She values her family and cares about the world and people in general. Which is why she studied to be a nurse to help people in the world. She's helpful and down to earth. She's also very intelligent, having a great deal of knowledge about medicine and other topics.
She's kind of a loner. Because of her powers, she tries to distance herself from people, especially her family. She wants to escape from her old life of using her powers to save people, and instead helps people using her own talents. She's bashful and elusive about her abilities and prefers not to use them or speak of them. She's naturally pretty sly and sneaky, even without using her abilities and it's obvious nobody could pull a fast one on her.
However, don't let the seemingly 'normal' and 'innocent' demeanor fool you. The girl can be tough and kick ass when she needs to. However, she dislikes hurting people and can be pretty pacifistic on account of her morals of helping not harming others, so she tries not to use her ability. But drastic times call for drastic measures something and this fearless side of her is only shown in drastic situation as she avoids violence and dangerous confrontations. Battles make her nervous especially. But if she sees her family in danger, she will try to pull it together because even if she doesn't act like it or show it, they mean a lot to her.
Overall, Rae is just trying to be normal... and wants to blend in with the crowd. But... inside she's not ordinary, she's special... and she definitely needs to learn to accept that unordinary side of her.

◼️ Poison: Rae has the ability to poison others and use it in attacks. This poison can affect the individual in the following ways:
- Poisonous gas: She can blow poisonous gas from her mouth at target/targets of her choice. This is especially beneficial when wanting to clear out a room. This is used to knock a group out but can also do more harm, like shutting down an individual's body/hurting their organs.
- Poison touch: This ability is basically like Chat Noir's power in MLB, 'cataclysm.' She can touch anything and anyone, and just by saying the word 'Venom,' whatever she touched will be disintegrated. It tires her to use this ability. She can also have a poison touch in which she can poison someone via touch, her hand burning through their skin like acid. It takes less energy then actually disintegrating someone.
- Blood poison: She can use her blood to infect someone. Her blood is poisonous as well. This can put someone on a comatose state, make someone sick or ill. Too much of her blood can cause someone to be paralyzed. It's helpful for holding someone captive/ interrogation.
◼️Herbal knowledge: She has knowledge over different herbs and plants. Some of which can be used as remedies. Following this, on account of being a doctor she had a vast knowledge of medicine.
◼️ Heightened immune system: Because of her poisonous immune system, it makes her unlikely to catch any illnesses or diseases.

- She can control what effect the poison has on an individual. But hasn't mastered that control yet, so her power is very unpredictable.
Her poison can do the following:
- Paralyze someone
- Cause someone to die

And since she gets anxious using her power, anything could happen.
- Has little knowledge regarding the capabilities of her power. She can actually undo the poison, but once again doesn't know how and thinks she can't.
- The power takes concentration, meaning she can't get nervous, or the poison could reverse back to herself. This would make her weak and nauseous. The effect on her won't be worse than the effect on others, but it would still be harmful.
- She can hurt those around her, including her family. The poison effects everyone.

Like the other numbers, she grew up in the Umbrella Academy. She was trained to become a hero like the others and went on missions to stop bad guys and whatnot. It was great and she wasn't a bad hero. She actually liked fighting crime as a kid. After all, what kid doesn't like the idea of being a superhero.
But when she was 16, a mission went wrong. She was shot in the back and when they rushed her back, it was revealed that if the bullet went any lower, she would have been paralyzed. Even then she had to take a few months of therapy and recovery.
The mission scarred her. It made her realize that the people that shooting her, were no different than what she did to them. She started to be strict about her power usage and afraid to use her abilities for harm. She refused to go on missions and ultimately started to doubt herself and rethink her role in the Umbrella Academy. Unfortunately she still had to do missions since Reginald didn't take her 'no' for an answer, but she didn't use her powers and mostly instead used her combat skills. And this time, wasn't trying to hurt people.
She started to look into colleges when she turned 18 and then when she was 19, left to peruse something different and escape from her life in the academy. She even moved towns and left her cellphone behind to be 'off the grid' completely. She didn't reach out to her family after that because she couldn't... she knew that no matter how much she refused to admit it, she cared a lot about them. And knew if they asked her to come back, she wouldn't be able to refuse.
Few years go by and she completely became the epiphany of 'normal.' She never used her abilities and sometimes kept an eye out for her family, seeing Alison on TV a few times and mentions about a certain 'knife throwing lunatic' stopping crime.
Then... when her father died, of course she knew she had to go back. She couldn't just skip the funeral. Then she ended up getting roped back into the mess that was her family and couldn't escape it. Soon she knew she had no choice but to get into the habit of fighting again once things took a turn.

- Ben brings out a more playful and fearless side to her. The side that she doesn't show very often, as she's naturally serious and put together.
