We didnt spend much time in the small bar,
We ran out the back door, going around the corner and ignoring the sounds of screams from people we knew we couldn't save...
We pushed open another gate guns raised, Helena right behind us and saw a zombie crouched over a dead body,
It chewed and chomped at the mans neck...
Then stopped.
He grew taller and wider and his whole chest swelled up red.
Then he let out a roar and every zombie beyond the fence turned to face us,
"Shit-"
I said as the infected people in the other side began to clump the fence!
"What is that!?"
Helena asked, as the giant monster slowly walked away.
At this point, in this new building...
We were chasing the monster more then it was chasing us!
Everytime we cornered it instead of fighting it would run right past us screaming!?
Finally I managed to knock it down and Helena crushed the monsters skull!
It screamed... and then faded into the dark.
"...nice work..."
Helena said and I nodded in thanks,
"You to."
I replied and she a gave a small smile.
We got out of another restaurant and as we opened the doors we saw a gas station,
Then a voice yelled,
"Why is this happening!?"
It was a woman.
"We have to help them!"
I yelled not waiting for Helena or Leon as I ran towards the three survivors that I could see.
"Help! I dont wanna die!"
The girl screamed, her voice sounding raw as I threw my knife at a zombies knee,
It fell down and I crunched its head under my boot as I turned to the others.
Helena and Leon came and helped me, and the three of us easily took down the infected.
"I'll die before I become a zombie!"
A young man yelled as he basically threw himself into the fight!
"Peter, dont leave me!"
The same womans voice cried,
I ran towards her a kicked down a zombie that was advancing on her.
"Stay close to me- both of you!"
I yelled at what I supposed was her boyfriend.
He scoffed as he continued to fire and u didnt have time to babysit his stupid ass!
"Choose a single target and take aim at it!"
Leon yelled at the survivors,
The man glared at Leon, not paying attention to the zombies.
"Who made you leader!?"
He yelled and with my accurate aim I easily took down the zombie about to chomp on him.
"Can it! You need us, so you better listen up and do as we tell you or I swear you'll never make it out of here alive."
I yelled at him,
"Ah! Screw you sweetheart!"
He yelled at me, and I honestly had the thought to "accidentally" miss and shoot him in the face.
But I grabbed the girls arm as she cried for her boyfriend to be rational and came back.
But I didnt think he was capable of either.
"Forget him! He'll just get you killed!"
Leon yelled at the girl,
"Who asked you!?"
The girl screamed at Leon through tears as I shoved her out of the way of a zombie and stabbed him in the shin before shooting him three times in between the eyes.
I looked back at the gas station, fuel pouring out of the ground.
"Someone shoot the gas! We can blast these freaks to pieces!"
The pig- uh I mean Peter yelled.
I took aim and with a single bullet the whole place exploded with a huge bang!
I dragged the girl to the floor with me as we all ducked our heads from the explosion!
"Are you ok..?"
I asked and her cheeks flushed a deep red as she looked over at me,
"Y-yeah..."
She gave me a sad smile as I helped her up.
"Hey come on! Its safer here!"
The police officer of the group said, waving us down a street.
"Theres a gun shop we can rearm ourselves in!"
He said as we all followed him,
"Just like Raccoon City."
I heard Leon say with a bitter smile.
"Minus the Ada but I'm glad no ones holding a gun to my head this time around."
I said to him and he smiled at me,
Leon and I pushed open the heavy doors,
"Hey! Is anyone here?"
Leon yelled, his words echoed around the large storage space.
I pushed open a door,
"Yeah me! I'm hold up on the second floor! Beat it!"
A voice yelled Peter ran past me up the stairs to my right that I had just noticed.
"Come in man open up! You gotta let us in!"
Peter slammed his fists against the door,
"Forget it! Those things are crawling all over my shop! So unless you wanna get ride of em! This door stays closed!"
I looked behind me to see the other survivors plus Leon and Helena...
"Who does he think we are, exterminators?"
Leon said sarcastically,
So yes, we ended up taking out all the zombies with the survivors help...
It wasn't fun... at all.
Peter or whatever his name was... ended up thinking it would be a good idea to walk OUTSIDE OF THE GUN SHOP!
He approached what he thought was a dead zombie... only to find it mutated into a ravage monster that basically clawed him to death...
Ew.
"PETER NO!"
the woman screamed, sobbing into my arms as I tried my best to keep shooting at the zombie and still keep my arm tight around her in a sympathetic hug.
Finally we took them all out...
"Hey! Pretty quiet out there... you guys still breathing?"
The man asked from the staircase.
I sighed as I patted the still crying girls back, her sobs had turned to quiet tears.
"For the time being."
I said with a roll of my eyes.
"Stores clear, you wanna let us in now?"
Leon asked still checking to make sure we were safe from the infected... for now atleast.
"...Alright. Get your asses up here before I change my mind."
The man said and we all rushed up the stair case,
We let the girl in first, followed by the officer then me, then Helena and finally Leon who closed and locked the door behind himself.
It was an old man with a young boy with black hair,
The old man had his back to us as he studied a map,
"Nice work down there. Good news is, I've got some folk coming for me in a bus. Any minute now."
He said with crossed arms.
"If we can make it on board, it's a straight shot to the Cathedral. People are evacuating there. Heard it on the radio."
He said.
"But that's a big "if". Its a shit storm out there. We ain't waiting for any more stragglers."
He said coldly.
Then something slammed against the glass!
"Yo, Japanese dude get the shutters!"
Everyone immediately took out their guns, getting ready for a fight.
The shutters finally closed and the old man sighed,
"We cant hold out here! Get into the next room!"
He yelled at us as we all followed.
The man with the dark hair closed and locked the door behind us and we all stayed silent...
Then the ground started to shake, the rocks fell from the ceiling as we all tried to keep our balance!
The door burst open and a massive pudge monster limped through!
Everyone started shooting at it,
"Dammit, any more weight and the floors gonna collapse!"
The old man yelled worridly.
We managed to kill it, but that room with the broken door wasnt safe anymore so we all moved to the balcony...
Looking around I noticed zombies on roofs beside us...
Great.
Out of no where a zombie fell down from the higher roof and knocked the man over the side!
I grabbed onto his arm as the girl from before grabbed onto his other!
"Help him up, we'll cover you."
Leon said to me as the others took aim at the infected coming at us.
The girl and I with much struggle managed to grab the man and haul him over the railing!
Then I saw some lights speeding down the street.
The bus!
"The bus is here people! We have to get down to street level."
We all ran to the room we came from, and sprinted down the stairs.
Leon, Helena and I made sure everyone got into the bus first then we climbed in!
"Get us out of here now!"
Leon yelled at the driver-
Then the bus shook and I fell, just managing to catch myself by grabbing onto the seat!
I looked out the front window to see the giant chubby monster we thought we killed earlier!
"Oh come on! Hes blocking the damn way!"
I yelled as I grabbed my gun and started shooting, Leon was doing the same.
The bus driver was trying to drive, the wheels turning in the air as the monster still held the bus just off the ground.
"Dammit! Let go of me, you basterd!"
I heard the old man yell, and I turned to see him being pulled out the window by a zombie!
"Hang on pops!"
The man with the black hair yelled,
I went to stop him but he was out the window to!
"No!"
I yelled realising they were surrounded,
"You coming with me son, fine! I'll buy you a drink in hell!"
The old man yelled as him and the black haired boy were overwhelmed by the horde of infected.
We finally managed to stun the big monster, he let go of the bus!
"Go now!"
I yelled as I gripped the seat with white knuckles,
The driver hit the gas and sped forward right into the chubby monster!
It knocked him to the ground and the buses wheels continued to spin widely, they dug and ripped into the monster its blood and flesh flying by the window.
The wheels finally managed to make it over the fat zombie and the bus sped down the street...
The fire and flames flying past us as we drove.
