i was in NY when luke came to NY and we decided to meet there but when i got there to see luke he seemed so different like it's been so long without luke he seems different
i surprise him at the door he was coming out of
we hugged for a long time but he didn't kiss me he hugged me only
"hey i missed you" he said
"i missed you too" i smiled
"how were you" he put his arms around me
we began walking to the van they had
"i've been good! how has tour been?" i asked
"it's been exhausting" he sat with me
"you look so tired" i held his hand
"yea i haven't slept that much" he rest his head on my shoulder
"yea get some rest" i played with his hair
i realized the reason luke seemed different was because my feelings toward him were different i felt like we could be friends not anything else
me and luke slept in the van for about two hours
me and luke hung out all day but he didn't do anything like we did when we were together all the time
"hey kels can we talk" he stopped walking
"yea do you want to go sit?" i asked
"yea let's go sit over there" we went to go sit on a bench
"ok what's up" i said
"everything is so different between us" he said
"i know and i've been thinking" i said
"you have?" he asked
"yea and i think since being apart for 6 months showed us that we didn't really need one another as a boyfriend or a girlfriend and i think that we should just be friends" i said
"yea i think we should be friends" he said
"we rushed into becoming boyfriend and girlfriend the first time and i think we should be friends again and see what happens" i smiled
"yea" he said
"are we good now?" i asked
"yea" he got up
"we should get going" i said
me and luke weren't boyfriend and girlfriend anymore after 8 months
after two hours luke was up on stage and i was backstage waiting for him so i can tell him i'm leaving to LA
he began singing want you back and ghost of you
when he was singing ghost of you he looked at me backstage
i began crying and he mouthed to me "don't cry"
"i have to go, i'm sorry" i mouthed
he nodded
i went to the hotel room and i packed everything up and i went to the airport and went back to LA i couldn't bare to see luke just as friends
