That's what she was to the world. Growing up as an only child to one of the most reputable business people of the United States, she was forced to bow down.
Act like a lady. Do not talk unless spoken to. Be respectful. Do not engage with males.
Although she didn't like it, she had no choice if she wanted to inherit the empire. And she did. It was the only reason why she complied to all of those rules. Money and power.
But one eventful night made the public take a double look at the angelic looking girl.
When everything she knew came crashing down, her parents had no other choice but to send her away, in a town far away, to stay with her grandmother until she learned her lesson.
But her grandmother had a rule.
Sundays are reserved for church.
What Rose didn't expect was to meet Tobias.
A priest's son.
The man that was forbidden, out of her reach.
There was one thing she adored; a challenge. And that's exactly what Tobias became.
