I wrote to defy the inevitable erosion of everything that mattered to me, scribbling pieces of me on sticky notes I would plaster on the clock intent on winding me away-into nothing.
For there isn't anything I would loathe more than the emptiness of having never known something, whatever something may be, whatever something may feel like..
To be dead is to be nothing once more...
...and nothing good.
