i couldn't believe it.
he's alive...
i stood there for a while in disbelief and relief. they tried to get my attention but i stood there for a while, when i should go find him.
they didn't tell me where he is, so i ran to all of his favorite places because i can't drive. mask and skull didn't follow me.
i stopped at the cafe, the library, the deca tower, all the stores in inkopolis, but he wasn't in any of them. maybe i should of let mask tell me where he was but i was too excited... too desperate to see him.
i collapsed onto my knees trying to catch my breath. thinking to myself where else he could be. maybe he was one of the ten who were injured...
the hospital is a long walk, but what's the point of walking back to his house for mask and skull, i have to keep going.
out of breath, i made it finally. i checked into every single room, families were mad at me for intruding. can't blame them, though.

that's where i found him. the doctors were alert when i came in, but never shoo me away. instead they let me stay, they told me he was in a coma.
a motherfucking coma.
