Today was the day my dad and his wife would be visiting us, me and my siblings were all downstairs just chillin till we heard a knock at the door, my mom went and got it standing right there was my father and his wife.
"kids y'all dad is here" my mom said while letting them in she made a face at Cynthia while she was walking in. we all stood up from the couch looking at each other it's been years since i last seen my dad but he still looked the same from the last picture we took
"hey kids i missed y'all" he said with a wide smile on his face
"y'all give y'all father a hug now" my momma said while folding her arms
i rolled my eyes since i was the oldest i give him a hug first so she wouldn't go crazy on us for being disrespectful.
"wow nia you don't even look the same" he said with a smile on his face
"yeah because you don't come around enough to busy tryin. to rebuild your life over" i told him with a smile
"Nia watch yo damn mouth" my momma said
"no it's okay if that's how she feels she can feel that way" he said while moving on to Niya
"how you been sweetie?" he asked her
"i'm doing fine" she said while rolling her eyes
he moved on to noah who only give him a head nod since noah didn't mess with him like that.
"this is my wife Cynthia if y'all forgot" he said
"hello you guys" she said in her sweet voice
i seen my mom roll her eyes before speaking "are you two hungry?" she asked while going in the kitchen
"yes i am starving" Cynthia said while following right behind her
we all made our way into the kitchen everyone sat down at the table but i stood in the door frame, my phone was buzzing in my back pocket i took it out seeing it was Kason calling me "i gotta take this" i told everyone while i went upstairs to my room i sat on my bed when i hit the answer button
"damn what took you so long?" he asked
"i was around family my bad wassuh with you?" i asked him
"i was calling to see if you wanna chill with me and hakeem at his crib" he said
"i'm glad you said that cause i sho don't want to be here right now" i told him with a smirk
"why lil mama?" he asked
"i'll tell you when you pull up on me" i said
"ight bet i'll be there soon" he said while hanging up
i put my phone down and went to my closet to see what could i wear for today i wore my roma T-shirt with my fashion nova all black biker shorts with my yeezy boost 350 V2 for my hair i did a high bun with the braids, i made sure i had my LV purse i checked myself one last time before going downstairs seeing everyone back in the living room chatting it up except Noah who was on his phone the whole time, my mom seen me come down the steps wondering where i was going
"why you all dressed up?" she asked making everyone look at me
"i'm going out with some friends" i told her
"you father is here and you going out? i don't think so" she said
"it's fine she can hang with her friends we going to get back to the hotel anyway" my dad said
i rolled my eyes my phone started buzzing seeming it Kason texting me saying he was outside i put my phone back in my purse "that's my ride" i told them while making my way out to Kason car. this was my first time getting in his car he had a 2019 Lexus that was all red with tinted windows i got into the car seeing it was filled with smoke
"wassuh lil mama" he said while looking at me with his blood shot red eyes
"hey Kason did you even save some for me?" i playfully rolled my eyes at him
he sucked his teeth and pulled out a bag full of weed in it "you know i can't forget back you babygirl" he said with a smile
we both laughed while he pulled off from my house making his way back to his cousin house since that's where he live at.

"ok but Niya you know you was dead wrong for the shit you pulled at brie baby shower" Kylie said as she took some selfies on her phone
Once Nia dipped out and my dead went back to the hotel i asked Kylie if she could come pick me up so i could get away from the house for a little bit
"i know but i was mad but you seen how Madison was coming for me tho?" i said
Kylie gave me a look before speaking "i would have did the same thing if i was in her shoes you could have pulled her aside or something instead of making it public to everyone" she said
"everyone should know about how Jeremiah is she needed to know the truth at some point" i said

"i loved him Kylie that's what y'all don't understand y'all think it was just being petty i was upset and hurt that at the end of the day he would always run back to her when he done with me i hated that feeling" i said while falling back on the bed looking up at the ceiling
"i know you love him but he isn't no good that nigga didn't give a damn about how you felt he only cared about himself and that's what niggas do as hard as this might sound but you got to move on from him" she said
i nodded my head she was right "it's not going to be easy Kylie" i told her
"it's never easy but you try to make it as best as you can and plus you seem to move quick since you gotta date coming up with Caleb" she said while nugging me
"it's just a friendly date that's all" i told her
"mhm sure it is but check this pic and see if i should post this" she said while handing me her phone
"it's looks good you always been a pretty bitch look at your momma" i told her while giving her phone back
"yeah i know people say i'm her twin" she said while typing on her phone
"damn what should we get into?" i asked her getting bored fast
"well i wanted to smoke but i gotta get the shit from my cuz" she said while standing up

"yup his shit be good" she said while checking her butt in the mirror
"well let's go cause we ain't got shit else to do and plus yo cousin cute as hell" i said while pulling up my black leggings
"bet let me go put my shoes on and we can leave" she said

"wait so all this went down at the baby shower?" Kason asked while eating his food
we stopped at Chick-fil-A to grab a bite to eat and really get to know each other more, i decided to tell him what went down at the baby shower and how all the blame landed on me somehow
"yes my sister just put they business out there to all of us" i said while drinking my drink
"damn that's wild how you feel about the shit?" he asked
"i feel like it's a bunch of bullshit to me i told my sister i didn't want to in this mess but i am and it's just crazy my home girls won't even talk to me" i said
"i don't know to much only what you told me but the whole thing is fucked up that jeremiah nigga too grown to be messing around on his girl both ends him and your sister was wrong and since your sister said she understood where she was wrong in the whole thing shows she mature then his ass is" he said while looking at me
"and as for your friend brie she just upset it how it played out and as for madison let her cool down for minute cause she don't know what to believe in at this point" he said
"your right i just hope everything can go back to the way it was before" i said
"babygirl ima tell you right now that's not going to happen y'all can be back cool but trust is where it's weak at between all of y'all that's something y'all going to half to rebuild together again" he said
"i just hope they can forgive and move on and ima let them cool down for a lil min" i said
Kason phone started ringing seeing it was just Hakeem calling him he sucked his teeth before answering
"what nigga?" he said through the phone
"where y'all at i thought we all suppose to be linking together" he said sounding like a female
"we in the car nigga chill" Kason said while starting the car
"oh tru can Nia hear me?" he asked
i laughed before speaking "yes i can hear you Hakeem" i said
"wassuh Nia and i hope y'all not fucking in that car cause it ain't no room in the back seat" Hakeem said
"man ain't nobody doing that and bye" Kason said while hanging up the phone
"you need to go anywhere before we go to the crib?" Kason asked
"Nah" i told him
He started the car and we was on our way to Hakeem house
"about time y'all niggas came" Hakeem said while letting us in
"mane shut up you was only rushing us because i had that gas on me" Kason said while sitting on the couch
i sat right beside him while rolling up our third blunt
"damn Nia you roll good" Hakeem said
"thank you y'all can light them two up" i said while pointing at the two blunts that were sitting on the coffee table
"you don't gotta tell me twice" Hakeem said as he took one and light it up
"where yo fine ass friends at?" he asked me
"they got they stuff to do today and which one you talking about?" i asked
"Brie fine ass people saying she pregnant by that Malik nigga" he said while blowing the smoke out
"she is your source was right" i told him
"damn you know i been had a crush on her since 9th grade" he said
"i know but she said you was too childish for her but she single so you should try again" i told him
"mane Hakeem can't pull no bitches he assed out" Kason said as he passed me one of the blunts
Hakeem sucked his teeth "i'm in my hoeing ways nigga and nah she got a baby daddy ian tryna play step daddy to some else kids" he said
"you right you right" i told him while sitting the other blunt down since i was done rolling it up
i hit the blunt Kason gave me and laid back on the couch i was on cloud 9 we smoked two blunts while we was in the car so i was already high but now since this was my third one i was gone and i had to smoke two more i was gone be off my ass i looked around the room everything looked funny but i wasn't trippin tho because when i smoked lots of weed it be like that
"shawty off her ass" i heard Hakeem say
i laughed "you damn right nigga" i told him while leaning on Kason
today was a day of relaxation that i needed
