Shinso stopped calling Aizawa's name once he knew that the man wasn't going to respond. But, he had to take a double take at Aizawa. Was that a bruise that he saw on the right side of his jaw? It was probably from hero patrolling. No. Aizawa didn't have hero patrolling yesterday. Shinso will text him later to apologize for yesterday, so training won't be awkward today. That's if he's not ignored.

Aizawa made it into his homeroom. He was met with All Might teaching his class as the students listened. Aizawa interrupted All Might's speech. He walked farther into his classroom, setting his binder on his podium.

His chorus of students greeted him. "Hi, Aizawa-sensei!"

He acknowledged his students with a hand.

"Excuse me for my tardiness. I got held up."

All Might just so happened to catch the side of his college's face. His eyes got wide, All Might knew that the bruise on Aizawa's jaw was not there earlier.

Aizawa felt the man's gaze lingering on the side of his face. It was making him uncomfortable. "Thank you, All Might. I got this from here." Aizawa casually fixated his scarf higher on his shoulders, so he wouldn't cause worry. I'm a fool for not doing this earlier.

All Might snapped out of his gaze. "Alrighty then. I'll be on my Mighty way." He waved a goodbye to the students and left.

"Let's began." Aizawa said, beginning class.

Let's hippity hoppity to the teachers lounge-ity

Aizawa was now in the teachers lounge again. Homeroom had just ended, so other teachers will be pouring in and out of here for the next few minutes. Aizawa thought to himself as he finished grading all the essays from yesterday.

'Ignoring Shinso was pretty childish of me. It's not like he did anything wrong at all. Why was that even my first instinct? I can't ignore him, he's completely clueless in everything that's going on. It's just not right.'

He felt his phone vibrate, it was a text message from Shinso.

Shinso: I tried talking to
you in the hallway but u
didn't respond. I don't
know if ur still mad about
yesterday, but I just wanted
to let u know that I apologize
for not bringing my inhaler
to training. I'll bring it for
now on. 12:00pm

Me: Shinso, I'm not mad
at you. I just care about ur
health. It frustrated me to
see you be so nonchalant
about it. 12:01pm

Me: care to tell me why u
haven't been bringing ur
inhaler? 12:02pm

Shinso: idk, it just feels
like ppl might see me as
vulnerable when I use it
12:02pm

Me: you shouldn't be
feeling that way. I see
where ur coming from
tho. it's like me with my
eye drops. 12:03pm

Shinso: I knew u would
understand. i tried
talking to my father about
it and he just told me to
start bringing my inhaler.
but unlike him you actually
talked it out with me 12:04pm

There it is, Shinso was putting Aizawa on a pedestal over his own father. Aizawa didn't know how to respond to that. He had to respond in a way for Shinso to understand where his father was coming from.

Me: I'm sure your father
meant no harm. You need
to remember that he lives
the civilian world and
probably won't know how
to handle some things
regarding towards heroism
12:06pm

Shinso: ig ur right. I
love him to death,
but sometimes he's so
overprotective. Ig he
has the right to be if
he works 24/7 12:06pm

Aizawa was just about to text the kid back, but he saw Nezu at the door of the teachers lounge, gesturing for the man to follow him. Aizawa got up and followed the rodent to his office for the second time today. This time Aizawa actually sat down in the chair when Nezu told him to. The two were now sitting across from each other.

"After you left my office this morning, I talked to Hajime about how it was wrong to inflict harm on a UA staff member." Nezu paused giving Aizawa some time to think, until he kept going. "He agreed with me and apologized for his actions."

"So?"

Aizawa watched as Nezu pulled out a few paper from the drawer that is attached to his desk. He places the paper in front of Aizawa, and the man gets a good look at them.

"I want you to feel out these assault charges."

"I um, it's okay." Aizawa nudged the papers away from himself slightly. "My injury isn't life threatening. What's a weak punch in the face going to do? Slowly kill me?"

There Aizawa was being as stubborn as always.

Nezu kept his polite tone. "I understand where you're coming from Aizawa, but Hajime had no right to act violently towards you this morning. I kn—"

"I refuse to fill these out." Aizawa crossed his arms over his chest, reluctantly. He was standing his ground. "Shinso has no idea that all this is going on, this is not fair to him. I really hope you didn't tell Hajime that I was filling these out, because I'm not."

"Aizawa, listen to me." Principal Nezu put his paws together, looking Aizawa straight in the eyes. "Hajime conducted a misdemeanor assault this morning. Since you're not seeming to comprehend where I'm coming from, I'll read you the charges. Now, as I read these I want you to answer yes or no after each one."

Aizawa sighed impatiently, tapping his foot on the floor.

Nezu picked up the few papers and cleared his throat, beginning to read the checklist.

"Did the defendant intentionally threatened the victim with an attack or bodily harm?"

Aizawa mumbled a yes. He was so over this already.

"Did the defendant appeared to have the ability to carry out the threat or took some sort of action that seemed to set an attack in motion?"

"What do they mean by that?"

Nezu disregarded Aizawa and kept reading.

"Did the threat cause the person to fear immediate serious violence?"

"No."

"Did the defendant actually attempted to or applied physical force to the victim?"

"Okay, this is a waste of time." Aizawa pinched the bridge of his nose. He was getting frustrated. "I'm not having him punished for lashing his anger out on me. The man was upset. It was just a punch. Why are you so persistent in me pressing charges?"

Nezu ignored Aizawa's question with a question of his own. "Why aren't you persistent in pressing charges?"

Aizawa got quite, so Nezu took it as a pass to continue his words.

"To me it seems like you're basically okay with him lashing his anger out on you. It almost looks like you're feeling pity or guilt towards Hajime and that's making you not press charges. I hope that's not the case."

Silent Aizawa remained. His eyes were trained at his crossed arms. Nezu is too intelligent for his own good. He's reading his ass like a book. Of course Aizawa wasn't okay with Hajime attacking him. But, in the depths of Aizawa's heart, he couldn't help but feel like he deserved it. Hajime didn't deserve to have to feel like he's against Aizawa to get attention from his own son. That crushed Aizawa. He never intended to make Hajime feel so pushed to the side.

Luckily, Aizawa doesn't let things get to him.

"That's not the case at all, sir." Lies. "It's just pointless to press charges."

Nezu hummed, placing the papers to the side. "Okay, I won't make you press charges. Unfortunately, I already told Hajime you were."

"Well, tell him I'm not." Aizawa's tone was laced in annoyance.

"I'm leaving that task to you, Aizawa."

You've got to be kidding me.

Aizawa watched as Nezu got up from his desk, walking over to the counter in his office to warm himself up some tea. He asked Aizawa if he'd like any, but the man politely declined.

The black haired man scratched the back of his neck. "Is there a reason why you can't tell him?" Aizawa asked sarcastically.

Nezu poured his tea in a mug and sat back down at his desk, sitting across from Aizawa again.

"Oh, not at all." Nezu took a sip of his freshly brewed tea. "Hopefully by getting you to do this, it'll fix the tension between you two."
