Angel
After eight months of vacation , I am finally back in the Philippines. I went to the States to visit my parents and I just needed time to process everything that was happening in my life and now I'm back and I feel good.
I looked at Kingsley who's busy typing something on his laptop. Ito ang sumundo sa akin sa airport when I arrived in the country. Four days na din akong nandito at araw araw akong binibisita nito ever since naka uwi ako. I'm currently staying at my parents house now.
Kingsley: " Do you have plans going back to your condo? " He asked when finally natapos na ang kung ano mang ginagawa nito sa laptop niya.
Me: " Yep. Tomorrow I'll be back na sa condo and start working again because I'm starting to feel bored na. " Maikling sagot ko dito.
He didn't answer and he was just staring at me.
Me: " What? " Natatawang tanong ko sa kanya.
Kingsley : " And you don't have problem with that do you? " Seryosong tanong nito na nakakatitig pa din saakin.
Me: " Nope. "
Kingsley: " Are you ready to face him? " Parang nagdududang tanong niya.
Me: " Sure. " I shrugged. " No hard feelings. I said what I needed to say the last time I saw him. I guess yun lang siguro ang kulang kaya bitter ako noon." I laughed. " I love it when things stop bothering you, you know? Like a couple of months ago, I was totally bitter about so many things and now I'm like ' you know what? I don't even care ' . And that's a beautiful feeling. " Sabi ko at nginitian ito.
Kingsley: " Yung feeling na nakapag move on kana pero hindi naman kayo? " Nanunuksong tanong niya na inirapan ko lang. " But seriously, I'm just so proud of you honey " Parang maluha luhang sabi nito saakin.
Totoo iyon. I'm not mad of Justin anymore. I got to the point where I already felt tired of being sad. Tired of being upset over things not going as I planned, or things falling through for the worst. Tired of being confused, being indecisive, being angry, depress . Yun lang sigurong mga panahon na yon because wala kasing closure. Well.. It wasn't really a closure but at least nasabi ko sa kanya lahat ng gumugulo sakin noon. I feel genuinely happy now. Totoo talaga siguro ang sabi nila na 'time heals'.
Naglalakad at nagpa ikot ikot na kami sa mall nang may mapansin kaming parang may event. It's like there's some sort of mall show or something.
Kingsley: " They're here!" He suddenly yelled na naging dahilan na napatingin ako sa kanya.
Me: " Huh? " Clueless kong tanong.
Kingsley: " They're here! " Excited na sabi nito.
Me: " Who? " Nagtatakang tanong ko parin na naging dahilan ng pag irap niya saakin.
Kingsley: " SB19! duh! " Sabay turo sa poster nila.
I laughed because he really became their fan. Pumupunta ito sa mga concert nila at bumibili ng isang katerbang mga merch nila to support them. Nag pa ad pa nga ito.
Kingsley: " I know this is a lil bit selfish and insensitive but... ahmmm.. Can we like..watch? " Nag- aatubiling tanong nito. " That's because you said ok kana, but if you're not ready to see him yet , I would totally understand." Dire-diretchong sabi nito.
Me: " Of course! I'm cool with it. " Sagot ko agad.
Kingsley: " Are you sure? " Nagdududang tanong nito .
Me: " It's ok. Really. " I gave him a sincere smile. " Let's go? " I asked.
Kingsley: " I swear we will leave after 1-2 songs! " Sabi nito nang nagsimula na kaming maglakad.
Natawa ako dahil may short cut itong alam. Kumuha ito ng dalawang isang libo sa wallet niya at pa sekretong inabot sa bouncer at security.
Me: " What the heck are you doin!?? " Tanong ko sa kanya pero naka pasok na kami at inalalayan pa ng security at nasa tapat talaga kami ng stage.
Kingsley: " Just go with the flow ok? " Naka smile na sabi nito at kinindatan ako. " Alangan naman at makipag siksikan pa tayo dun. " Sabay turo sa crowd.
Hindi nalang ako sumagot at napa iling iling nalang sa ginawa nito. Anyway, nandito na din kami at wala ng sense kong makipagtalo pa ako.
Host: " Who's ready for SB19??? " Sigaw ng host.
Narinig ko ang malakas na hiyawan ng mga tao. Naks. Goose bumps. Nakaka overwhelm ang mga supporters nila.
Host: " I can't hear you! Who's ready for SB19?" Sigaw ulit ng host.
Hiyawan na naman. Though I can't really say that I'm a fan of them but they're my friends so nakaka proud din sa dami ng supporters nila. I'm genuinely happy for them.
Host: " Lets give it up for SB19!!! "
Lumabas na ang mga ito at nag simulang kumanta ng ' Go Up' .
This is the second time I've seen them perform live though maka ilang ulit na ko na silang nakitang nag pra-practice, but iba ang feeling pag lahat ng audience sila ang inaabangan.
Ang ga gwapo ng mga ito. I looked at Justin. He looks good as always. Napangiti ako dahil wala na talaga akong nakapang lungkot at bitterness sa dibdib ko. Just pure happiness . And I'm just so happy and so proud of them.
Then I looked at Ken. He looked surprise when our eyes met. Na miss ko ang baliw na ito. Na appreciate ko lahat ng ginawa niya saakin the time I was so bitter with Justin. I felt like I was in a very dark place and he was my flashlight. Though may times na na bwe-bweset ako sa kanya but I must admit that he's a good friend.
Natawa ako sa expression ng mukha nito dahil naka kunot ang noo itong nakatitig saakin habang sumasayaw na para bang sinisigurado na ako ba talaga ang nakita nito. I waved and smiled at him. He eventually smiled back.
His smile was something never to be taken for granted. He rarely showed it around people but when he did, it was extraordinary. The smile on his face revealed his masculine nature.
Naalala ko bigla ang sinabi niya the last time I saw him before I went to the States. Nasa lobby ako noon and was waiting for the Grab car that I booked na dumating. It was around 4 AM at that time that's why I was surprised to see him at the lobby ng ganung oras. But I immediately saw the seven eleven plastic so I figured nag take out na naman siguro ito ng manok.
Naalala kong nagulat din itong makita akong may bitbit na dalawang maleta at isang bag. Si Kingsley lang kasi ang napagsabihan ko na magbabakasyon ako for a while.
Ken: " Saan ka pupunta? " Tanong agad niya nang makalapit saakin
Me: " Mag babakasyon muna. " Maikling sagot ko dahil busy ako sa phone ko kakatext kay kuya Grab driver.
Ken: " Ha? Saan? At hanggang kelan ka magbabakasyon? Kelan ka uuwi? " Sunod sunod na tanong niya.
Me: " I just need a place where I can think. I'll be back soon. " Sagot ko at naglakad na sa labas ng building dahil nag text na si kuya Grab driver na nasa location na ito. Sumunod naman si Ken.
Saglit na nilingon ko ito dahil sisitahin ko sana siya na tulungan naman ako sa mga dala ko. Pero blangko ang expression nitong nakatitig lang saakin.
Tinutulungan ako ni Kuya Grab driver sa mga dala ko na maipasok sa loob ng sasakyan ng marinig kong tumikhim si Ken.
Nakapasok na ako sa sasakyan nang lingunin ko ulit siya.
Me: " I need to go now. My flight is an hour na. " Sabi ko at kumaway dito. " Thanks for everything." . " Seryosong sabi ko and smiled at him.
Ken: " I'll always be here. I've always been here. You need to live your life and find yourself. And when you're ready, I'll be here. "
Nabalik ako sa kasalukuyan nang marinig kong tumili si Kingsley.
Kingsley: " I am going crazy! Ang gwapooo ni Josh!!" Tili nito.
Natatawang nilingon ko siya. I know he have been crushing Josh ever since but hindi ito cheap na bakla at discrete ito. Formal din ito even if kaharap si Josh. That's why I laughed when I heard him said that.
Nang matapos ang kanta , they started introducing themselves.
Sejun: " Get in the zone! "
" Break! " Sagot ng mga members.
Sejun: " Hi we are .. "
" SB19! " Sabay sabay na sabi ng lahat.
Sejun: " Hi I'm the leader of Sb19 My name is Sejun. "
Josh: " Hi I'm the most charismatic member of Sb19 my name is Josh. " Nag lip bite pa ito na lalong nagpalakas ng sigawan ng audience.
Stell: " Hi I'm Sb19's heavenly voice my name is Stell. " Pa sweet na pakilala ni Stell.
Justin: " Hi I'm the youngest member of Sb19 my name is Justin. "
Ken: " Hi I'm the main dancer and the SEXIEST member of SB19 my name is Ken ." Pakilala nito and I saw him winked at me!
Emphasized talaga ang sexiest huh. Self proclaimed talaga -_-
I rolled my eyes. Nakita kong tumawa ito. I heard Sejun said something and they started singing ' " Alab " .

Napatingin ako kay Ken at nakita kong nakakatitig pala ito sakin. Hindi nito tinatanggal ang pagkatitig kahit habang sumasayaw at kumakanta ito. And for some reason I also can't stop staring at him.
Kingsley: " Hoy! " Sabay siko saakin
SB19
I need your, I need your love right now
Tapos na ang kanta nang parang nataohan ako.
Kingsley : " I saw that stare! "
Me: " Ha? " Tanong ko.
Kingsley: " Girrl!! Pleaaase! You were looking at Ken the whole fucking time!" He rolled his eyes
I can feel my cheeks blushing pero hindi ko na ito pinansin. I looked back at the stage. They're now started singing their ballad song 'Hanggang sa Huli'.
Isa isa itong nag babaan sa stage and started picking up some fans at the audience.
Nakita ko si Ken na bumaba ng stage and started walking at our direction. Nilingon ko si Kingsley and I saw him pointing at me. Traydor!
Me: " I'm so gonna kill you right now " Pabulong na sabi ko . Sasagot pa sana siya pero nakalapit na si Ken saamin.
Kinuha nito ang kamay ko at hinila ako patungog stage. Wala akong nagawa at sumunod nalang dito dahil itinulak ako ni Kingsley! Ugh! Papatayin ko talaga tong baklang to!
Ken
Ang ala-ala?ko'y 'di nagbago
Sa panaginip ko ay naroon ka
Nakatitig lang ito saakin while kumakanta. Suddenly It felt like there was no one around us; I can't even remember that it was a fucking mall show! Everyone just suddenly disappeared and it was just him and me.
All
Walang iba, walang ibaWala nang hahanapin paPag-ibig ko'y sa 'yoSa iyo hanggang sa huli
Natapos na ang kanta at nakita kong parang nagulat ang ibang membro nang makita ako at kalaunan ay nginitian din naman . Si Justin naman ay hindi alam kong ngingitian ako o tatakbuhan but I gave him a genuine smile kaya napangiti narin ito eventually.
I stared at my hand. Ken is still holding it. Nilingon ko siya and he moved closer to my ear.
Ken: " I miss you. I miss you so much " He whispered
Wait, wut!??
