Past the first obstacle, the track had stretched back out and we now had more room to move freely back and forth but Hart wasn't too fond of us being so close and was constantly ricocheting bullets off the bars, and the sound was giving me a headache. Freddie hit the gas harder, jarring us backwards into the seats and we soon because nose to nose with Hart like we had Will. Freddie glanced over in my direction to look at Hart through my tinted and barred window, and I could make out Hart's figure as he attempted to drive faster than us. I watched as Hart's partner, the female with the red hair flipped us the bird and that pissed me off that she did that to us, she didn't even know us.

"You know what, Big Daddy..." I said, catching Freddie's attention. "Flame 'em."

A big grin came over Freddie's face, probably because he also enjoyed me calling him by his sexy name, and he hit the gas even harder if possible and we flew past their car while Freddie manuevered so he was right in front of them. Will and Hart nearly collided as Will had tired to gain speed on us but failed, Hart started to then shoot at Will's car with the M240 Machine Gun. I looked over at Freddie just as he worked on angling himself with Hart's car while we were still speeding towards the first corner of the track.

"Hit that red switch, baby." Freddie smirked and his wish was my command.

I hit the switch he told me to and watched as flames roared behind us, blasting at Hart's front bumper and it was hot enough to start melting at it as the flames licked along it. I smirked as Freddie nodded the success while Will must of got tired of getting shot at because suddenly he fired a missle from the single RPG-7 mounted atop of his car roof straight at Hart's back bumper. I watched in shock as the car flew up in the sky, my mouth fell open as Hart's car flipped forward and there was nothing they could do about it. It landed upside down with a loud crash, causing the people watching to go crazy as we had our first wipeout and only moments later the West Mafia's vehicle caught aflame.

"Did you see that shit, Freddie?" I asked in shock, what if he hit us with a missle?

"The dumb fuck don't have a way to refill it." Freddie calmed me. "Not until the second race, or until he makes a pitstop."

"Okay." I tried to calm myself.

It made sense to why Will hadn't used the missle so soon, it was his only one and if he needed it for something else, he was going to be out of luck and forced to use other weapons to help him. I looked forward as we moved to third place. I curiously peeked through the back window to see Moolah had gained on us with Soraj not too far behind, and part of me believed he was going to try and taunt Freddie once he got here. He seemed to like taunting people whenever it benefited him, I looked over at Freddie as he turned his flame switch off and the licking fires retreated back inside as we skidded the first corner of the track.

"Freddie, copy?" The walkie-talkie cracked awake, I quickly reached and grabbed it.

"Freddie, copy." I repeated back to Mickey.

"No, you're supposed to say Barbie, copy." Mickey said.

I rolled my eyes. "Okay, Barbie, copy." I huffed. "What, Mickey?" I said impatiently.

I moved the walkie-talkie cloesr to my ear and listened closely as gunshots run through the air all around us. I seriously didn't have time for Mickey's peewee brain because we were in a life or death situation, and I seriously couldn't wait to live and tell this story.

"Machete's was in first place but he just got wiped out by Banners via shotgun point five seconds ago." Mickey informed me, his voice cracking momentarily. "They're in first place now, two people down."

"Machete's eliminated, Banners in first place." I summed up to Freddie, he slowly nodded in understanding. "Six more people to go. That it?"

"No," Mickey said, "Harper just changed the rules."

"What!?" I said in disbelief. "What she change?"

There was a moment of silence as the walkie-talkie was moved over. "She wants one track a day, she got some shit up her sleeve... I don't know what but we know it." Eddie informed me and Freddie as I moved the walkie-talkie closer to him so he could hear as well.

"That bitch." Freddie growled. "If we're running a track a day, that's three days automatically. What if there's a fucking tie, did she not think about that shit?"

I grabbed his hand as they starte to shake angrily, hoping to calm him as I noticed Will growing closer to us, I glanced behind us just as I noticed that he had switched toward Freddie's side instead of going on my side, probably hoping to avoid the Vulcan. Freddie noticed him seconds later than me, tightening his grip on the steering wheel as I moved the walkie-talkie closer to my mouth.

"We'll be back, we got Lackeys cutting close again." I informed Eddie.

"Smoke em, kiddo. Pit, out."

"You got it." I smiled lightly at his comment. "Barbie, out."

Freddie glanced over at me before reaching over and grabbing my hand, he pulled my hand to his mouth and lightly kissed along my knuckles as we shot toward the second turn of the racetrack, growing closer to Greg from Streets gang. Freddie appeared to be more focused on driving as he suddenly jarred the car toward the left in time to miss Soraj from the Vipers plowing into the back of us.

I grabbed my chest as my heart thumped hard in my chest, bile rose once more as realization that we could of died hit me hard, I blinked a few times to rid tears as I watched Soraj fly past us as well. He must of had turbo boost or something to cause him to gain distance on everyone like that, there was no doubt in my mind that he had a turbo switch. We were now in fourth place once more as Freddie got back toward the center of the track and his lip curled in irritation.

"Motherfucker." He swore under his breath, not too happy about Soraj zooming past us without us realizing sooner.

"It's okay, baby. We're gonna get him." I calmed Freddie, squeezing his hand tighter as he hadn't released mine yet.

"I know." Freddie deadpanned, his thoughts starting to get to him and that immediately put my heart into overdrive.

"Calm down, Freddie." I told him, putting his hand on my bare thigh and he quickly latched tightly to it.

"I am calm." He lied through clenched teeth.

"No, you're not." I retorted, looking over as I noticed Will had gained on us as well, and that was because Freddie had took his foot off the gas so hard. "Freddie, what are you doing?"

"Playing that bitch's game." Was his reply as he focused on the road.

I didn't understand what he was hinting at but I could tell he wasn't going to say anything else so I simply nodded before looking out the driver side back window as the sound of bullets ricocheting off the window bars repeatedly. I ducked my head down as the bullets ceased momentarily, I watched as Freddie cracked his neck before flooring the car once more, taking me by surprise. I turned in the seat to see it was Reggie, who had passed Will, putting Will in last place now.

"You want some of us, pussy?" Freddie asked Reggie, even though Reggie couldn't hear him. "You're gonna get it, bitch." He said through angry clenched teeth as he continued to floor the gas.

"I can shoot back." I told Freddie, a little unsure of leaving him on edge right now.

"Then go do it." Freddie said in a snappy tone, taking me by surprise.

"O-Okay." I said, blinking a few times to knock away my shock as I felt uneasy about this.

I wiggled into the back once more and crawled along the carpet board while grabbing one of the M4A1s laying there with a magazine already in place and the safety already off, I checked it just incase before I grabbed the sliding door access point and slid it open slowly. A loud bang filled the air as the M134 started to fire once more at us, everything slowed down for a second as burning filled my shoulder and I quickly slammed the sliding door shut with a heavy squeal escaping me. The rest of the bullets started to ricochet off the window again as I leaned against the side of the car while Freddie suddenly became alert that something wasn't right.

"Barbie?" Freddie asked as I clenched my teeth to help with the pain.

A sob escaped my throat as pain bursted through my right shoulder, I whined as I slumped a little low while the bullets paused before again starting up as I took a few breaths to calm myself, I knew this shit was a bad idea.

"Barbie, fucking talk to me!" Freddie yelled angrily, I could feel the car continuing to speed forward as he skidded the curve.

"I-I'm okay..." I breathed out, licking my dry lips. "I got hit."

"W-W-Where, baby?" He asked, panic in his voice as he attempted to peek back at me.

"I'm okay, Freddie!" I said angrily, oh, so now he gives a damn! "Just watch the road."

"I'm watching the road, baby, you gonna be okay?" He asked, concern lacing his voice as he tightened his shaking hands on the steering wheel. "Tell me you're okay. Where did you get hit, babe?"

"My shoulder," I grunted out in pain, "I'm okay. J-Just... give me... a minute." I breathed, leaning my forehead against the side of the car for a second before I realized that wasn't a good idea.

"Okay... okay... get up here." Freddie said. "I see the finishline, Barbie."

His concern for me was welcoming but after he had gotten snappy with me, I wasn't in the mood for his mood swings, I slowly pulled myself to the front and cried in pain as I hit my shoulder on the seat trying to sit down. I clutched the wound tightly as my hand was caked with my blood, I looked at my hand and shook my head in disbelief that I had did that. I should of waited, I knew that they were firing on us and I still opened the sliding window, I was lucky I didn't get killed.

"Freddie, copy?" I heard the walkie-talkie.

"Freddie, copy." Freddie replied in a rushed town. "Barbie got hit!"

"What?" I heard Eddie and Mickey say in unison. "Where?" Eddie pressured to know.

"Right shoulder." I reached up to wipe the warm tear falling from my right eyeball.

I reached over unconciously and felt at the guaze that was covering my empty socket incase there was debris to go flying, it was precaution that Dr. Harper had told me to take and I had decided to listen. I was sure that the blast of the wind from Freddie's speeding would definitely dry my socket out so I was careful to double the guaze up. I huffed as I realized I was going to have to go see Dr. Harper if I got luck on my side. I bit my lip while looking over at Freddie, who glanced over at me fearfully while still conversating with Eddie.

I watched as we got closer to the finishline before crossing over it in fourth place. Freddie quickly moved the car toward our pit and put the car in park as I leaned my head back against the leather headrest in frustration. He quickly jumped out the car and rushed to my side as Lloyd rushed to open my car door, I looked up at them as the others huddled around my side of the car to see if I was okay, I'm glad they're making sure I'm safe.

"Hey, guys." I said slowly, smiling uneasily as they all suddenly relaxed, confusing me.

"You're not shot, you got grazed." Freddie huffed while rolling his eyes that I was dramatic.

Oh well, sue me!
