Tzuyu's POV
"What?" Jihyo questioned.
"I just didn't want to admit it," I took a deep breath, tears running down my face. "My family is really religious and I've been raised being told I could never be this. Never feel like this. I was in denial. But I missed you so much, and I realized I couldn't keep hiding. I wanted to see you now, before I regretted it and ran away again. And . . . and . . . I've never felt this way before. Not for a guy, and never for a girl! I've never been so in love and I was just so scared I wou-"
Suddenly, her lips were on mine. I leaned into the kiss, my whole face flushing. My heart exploded in my chest and something deep down in me changed.
I looked up at Jihyo as I pulled away.
"I love you more than I've ever loved anything ever before." I, somehow, didn't hate myself for the words that came out of my mouth.
Jihyo smiled. "I love you too."
I looked around at her room. "You wanna come back to my place and sleep over? Get away from your parents?"
Jihyo laughed. "Yeah, if you don't mind."
I smiled. "Come on!"
She climbed out her window, interlocking our hands as we walked back to my house to spend the night.
