I didn't choose this path, destiny has led me.

Passions and dreams are fires that keep my soul burning,
Like water and air that keep a sapling growing.
Raging desires that never ever falter,
Journeys that go forever and never alter.
Like music to someone else's ear, clear and loud.
Strings of notes and lullabies the purest of sound.
I listen to the different musics of life,
Some are out of tune while others cut like a knife.
Melodies have led me into unknown places,
Defying nostalgic noises everyone misses.
Strangely, the cacophony makes my eyes pour tears,
Reviving the dying moments as the sky clears.
I have planned to not look back to that road again,
But memories are haunting and giving me pain.
The more I resist the more it's getting painful.
My once soft heart is now getting lesser vengeful.
Betrayal made me astray and kept me away,
But forgiveness sought me, leading me back the way.
