- In that specific night, after Bethany confronted her friend Santana admitting what the IT boy Cal Jacobs did to her a week ago. She wanted to hurt him, to make suffer for all the pain he put her best friend through. All she could think about is hurting that poor bastard. She knew that this was something that Santana would've wanted. She didn't like what her friend was going through. She wasn't in the right state of the mind, she thought. She was thinking of confronting Cal Jacobs at school and maybe expose him. Expose the side that nobody knows about Cal Jacobs and show the whole school who he truly is indoors. She felt like this plan could potentially ruin his reputation or maybe get his ass arrested. She knew that all this abuse and pain that he put his friend to is way too far and that it should come to an end. Those words that came from Santana's mouth "He hit me" keep repeating in her head. She couldn't let the idea out that Cal constantly abuses her friend. He didn't deserve her she was way too good for him. She shouldn't be with a woman beater like his ass.

- There is actually one secret that the young brunette Bethany was hiding though from her friends and family for years... it was her sexuality. She never had an attraction or experience with boys. She never liked them. She was always into girls, especially girls like her childhood friend Santana Delgado. She always had a crush on Santana. She always despised Cal Jacobs. She never wanted him near her friend. She wanted Santana all to herself. If she couldn't have Santana, then no one else can (not an obsessive way). She felt like her being there for Santana wasn't enough and she wanted to make up for it. She wanted to show Santana that she was willingly to do anything for her, which includes risking her own life for her and will do anything to protect the girl that she loves.
