I click on the television, I turn on the news.
My head blasted with things that dumb people do.
I think to myself, question their deeds.
Why people so evil, filled with so much greed.
This ain't my America.
I hear my next door neighbor, face soaked in tears.
I lean in even closer, trying to overhear.
I listen to him yelling, angered by her worth.
Leaving her all alone lying on a rough turf.
This ain't my America.
My assistant calls me, voice filled with plead
Begging for more money to fulfill her wasteful greed.
This ain't my America. This ain't my American dream.
