Angel
I saw my phone ringing and I smiled as I saw Justin's name on it. Whenever we text or call or even chat, I literally smile at my phone even if it's the dumbest thing ever. Literally whenever his name pops up on my phone I smile 100 times harder and longer than usual.
I became close with the boys since the first time I met Justin, Ken and Josh at the rooftop. We've been friends for months now. I also met Sejun and Stell. Whenever they have free time , they always invite me for coffee, lunch or makig chill sa rooftop. We became close despite their busy schedule. Especially Justin.
Napaka kulit nito especially if they have events outside the town. Lagi itong tumatawag at nag u-update kung anong ginagawa nito. There were times that I was busy at hindi ko ito agad na re-replayan but hindi ako nito tinitigilan.
I finally picked up my phone and I answered the facetime call from him.
Me : " Hi there" I Answered
Justin: " Hello Miss Beautiful " He winked. He looked so cute my heart jump a bit.
Me: " I know.. But thanks anyway" I joked.
Justin: " Crush nga kita eh " Nakangising sabi niya.
Natigilan ako. I know he was just kiddin dahil alam kong palabiro ito but talking to him is like something out of the movies. It's entrancing and it gives me that warm fuzzy feeling inside. I know he's just trying to be cute, but I'm totally fine with that because sobrang kulit nito, so I just let him keep saying it. Kung hindi lang ito makulit at malambing din sa mga ka member nito, baka iisipin kong totoo nga ang sinasabi niya. But part of me wants to believe him everytime he says that.
Justin: " Oh natulala ka jan? " Nakangisi niyang tanong.
Me: " Yeah right " I answered and rolled my eyes.
Justin: " But Hey! May three days kaming rest so marami tayong time to catch up " Excited niyang sabi.
Me: " That's great! You guys deserved it. " I gave him a sincere smile because they really deserved to rest. Kaliwat kanan ang mga shows nito, interviews, TV guestings and it's nice to know that they finally have a chance to rest. Three days? Mataas taas na din yun.
Justin: " Miss mo ako? " He gave me a cheeky smile.
Me: " I do.. " Matipid kong sagot. " All of you guys " Dugtong ko sa sinabi ko.
Justin: " Ay! Gusto ko ako lang. " He pouted.
Me: " Yep. Especially you. " Seryoso kong sagot.
I'm not sure but I think I saw his eyes beaming.
Justin: " Can I see you now? " He smiled.
Napa kunot noo ako nang marinig ko ang sinabi niya. Hindi ako sumagot at nagtatakang nakatingin lang ako sa camera. What is he talking about? Hindi ito nagsalita and just gave me a gummy smile.
Me: " Now? " Naguguluhang tanong ko.
Nakita kong nakangiting tumango tango ito. Is he kidding? Nandito ito ngayon?
Me: " No way..... Are you serious? " Paninigurado ko.
Hindi ko na napansin ang sinagot niya when I heard a knock. Dali dali akong naglakad papuntang pintuan ng unit. I opened the door and there he was standing looking so adorable smiling at me. Kaya pala familiar ang background nito.
Justin : " Hey.... " Tawag niya at agad na niyakap ako.
Me: " Hey.. You're here.. " I said and hugged him back.
Mga ilang segundos na siguro kaming magka yakap lang. Well.. I'm already use to him being like this.
Justin: " I miss you " I heard him whispered habang yakap parin ako.
Me: " Yep.. I know. " Natatawa kong sabi.
Justin: " No seriously I miss you " I heard seriousness on his voice.
I was so overwhelmed that I didn't know what to say kaya hindi nalang ako nag salita.
Ken: " Seriously? " He sounded and look bored.
Bumitaw ako sa pagkakayakap ni Justin nang marinig ko ang boses ni Ken. Nakasunod lang pala ito ni Justin at hindi ko napansin. Nakita kong may bitbit pa itong travel bag. I saw Justin rolled his eyes na naging dahilan ng mahinang pag tawa ko.
Me: " Sorry Ken. " I said politely pero tiningnan lang niya ako at pumasok na agad sa unit.
I just shrugged because I'm already used to Ken being Ken. Tahimik ito at parang may sariling mundo . Napaka random din nitong mag salita. Hihirit lang ito out of nowhere. Out of all the members, he's the only one I never recalled having a proper conversation with , that's why I was surprised when I found out before na ang ka close nito ay si Stell at Justin because they're both very chatty. Yung tipong kahit mag damag kayong mag usap ay hindi ito na uubusan ng topic? But Ken is the exact opposite. He seems happy and contented with his own lil world.
Justin: " Clear your schedule for today. " Nakangiting sabi nito.
Me: " And why is that? " Naguguluhang tanong ko naman.
Justin: " Ahmm.. "
Naputol ang sasabihin sana nito dahil nakita naming lumabas sa pintoan ng unit nila si Stell at kasunod naman nito si Ken.
Ken: " Nandito parin kayo? " He asked and immediately put his earphones on.
Stell: " Wow nag effort kapang mag tanong as if naman may pakialam ka kung anong isasagot nila? " Sabi nitong umirap pa. " Hindi ka pa nga natatapos mag tanong eh naka earphones kana. " Bumuntong hininga ito. " At ba't ba ako nagtatanong parin sa kanya eh hindi naman rin nya ako maririnig? " He added at humarap na saamin. " Hi Angel Ziporah! Kumusta? " Tawag niya sa buong pangalan ko.
Me: " Hi Stellvester!! " Natatawang tawag ko din sa buong pangalan niya because I know he hates being called by his full name.
Sa lahat ng member ng SB19 ay si Stell ang pinakamadaldal. He is known as the sunshine boy in the group dahil na rin sa kanyang sunshiny personality. Siya ang bestfriend ng bayan. And I love his humor! Funny din ito kaya naging comfortable agad ako sa kanya.
Napatingin ako kay Justin. Lihim akong natawa sa naisip ko. Ubod kasi ito ng Corny. I don't know up till now why I tolerated him with his Corny Jokes. Hari kasi ito ng maisan.
Stell: " Punta kaming 7 Eleven sa baba, sama kayo? " He casually asked.
Justin: " Wala bang pagkain sa Ref? " Nagtatakang tanong niya.
Stell: " Meron pero nakaka walang gana kayang kumain kong nakikita mo ang nakakunot na noo ni Sejun. " Naka-ingos na sagot nito at nilapitan si Ken na naka upo ngayon sa sofa ng mini lobby ng floor.
Justin: " Sinusumpong na naman ba si pinuno? " Pigil tawa niyang tanong.
Kibit balikat lang ang sagot ni Stell at tinabihan si Ken sa sofa.
Me: " You were saying? " Pagbalik ko sa naputol na usapan namin kanina.
Justin: " Wala ... Na miss lang kita .. " Nakangiting sagot niya at akmang yayakapin ulit ako pero bigla naman itong natigil nang ma realized na nandito pa sina Stell at Ken.
Stell: " Hoy Manok! Tara na nga! " Tawag nito kay Ken.
Hindi umimik si Ken at parang wala lang narinig kaya kinuha ni Stell sa tenga ang isang earphones nito.
Stell: " Tara na kasi! Sabi mo sasamahan mo ako? " Reklamo nito.
Ken: " Dito lang ako.. ganda na ng pinanonood ko eh.." Sabi niya sabay kuha sa isang pares ng earphone na nasa kay Stell at agad ibinalik sa tenga nito.
Stell: " Sabi ng tara na eh!! " Sabay kaladkad kay Ken.
Nagulat ito at akmang mag rereklamo pero wala rin itong nagawa at sumunod na rin.
Stell: " Bye Guys! " Paalam niya habang kinakaladkad pa si Ken papuntang Elevator.
Justin: " Anyway... "
Me: " Hmmmm.?? "
Justin: " Movie later? "
Me: " Yeah right.. Good luck kung dika pagkakaguluhan. " Natatawang sabi ko.
Justin: " Nope! Sa movie house tayo pupunta so it's private and cozy " Excited niyang sabi.
Me: " At magtatalo na naman kayo sa kung anong movie ang panonoorin? " Naka taas kilay na tanong ko.
Last time kasi na nag movie marathon kami sa unit ko ay mahigit isang oras silang nagtalo kung anong papanoorin. Iba iba kasi ang gustong panoorin ng bawat isa. Si Stell gusto ng drama, si Josh gusto ng action, si Sejun bet ang mga mind blowing na mga movies yung tipong nakaka mind fucked ang ending, si Justin gusto ng fiction tapos si Ken naman ok lang sa kahit anong genre ng movie basta may brutal at madugoan ang involve.
Justin: " Nope. Because it would be just the two of us. " He answered. " And I promise ikaw ang masusunod kong anong genre ng movie ang gusto mong panoorin " He smiled.
Me : " Even horror? " Nag dududang tanong ko.
Justin: " Yep! " He sounded sure.
I didn't know what to say so napamaang lang ako sa kanya. Mixed of emotions ang nararamdaman ko. This will be the first time that we will go out alone together. Was he asking me to go out on a date with him? Ugh! I just don't know.. I don't wanna overthink.

Do you ever not realize how starved for affection you are till someone hugs you a bit tighter than normal and you find out you really don't want to let go? Or is it just me? 😅
