Veronica
I looked at Algee as he walked up to me. I quickly turned my face, wiping before he got up to me.
"V, what's wrong?" He asked, I just shook my head.
"Give me the goddamn gun!"
"What the fuck?! Danielle! Put that goddamn gun down!" Algee said, walking up to her as she had the gun in her hand.
"Fuck no, I'm finna kill this son of a bitch today!" She said, cocking the gun back as Woody backed up.
I stood there staring at him and shook my head at this sad ass shit.
"I'm going home." I said and got my phone out. Ion think anybody heard me because everybody was now arguing back and forth.
An Uber pulled up and I shifted my purse.
"Veronica wait." Woody said grabbing my arm but yanked it back.
"Bitch don't touch me." I said, opening the door, getting in.

I sat in the room as Spongebob was on the tv, but I wasn't in a laughing mood.
I got up and walked around the house. I picked up my phone that I had on silent since everyone was blowing up my phone.
All of a sudden I got angry and threw my phone to the floor, watching it break in half.
I paced the floor as someone knocked on the door.
"Gawddamn I feel like Sylvester on trapped in the Closet. "I ain't opening another fucking door." I said, and decided to let them knock.
Then the door opened and Woody came in.
He stood there for a second. "I still got the key." He said, showing me then dropping his head when I didn't say anything.
"Veronica... let me explain."
"Get the fuck out."
"Ver-"
"Get the fuck out Woody." I said, pointing towards the door.
"But V-"
"Get the fuck out Woody! Why the fuck are you even here?!" I yelled.
"Because I need to make this shit right." He said, walking towards me.
"Bitch you can't make shit right. My so called boyfriend was cheating on me. What can you make right out of that?!" I said, backing away from him.
"I know, but I'm sorry!"
"Sorry? Bitch get the fuck out of my face!" I yelled, punching him dead in his face, making him grab my hands.
"Just listen to me for a second!"
"No! Get the fuck away from me bitch!" I yelled as tears left my eyes once again. "Let me go!"
I calmed myself down, yanking away from Woody as I tried to control my breathing. I held my stomach as it started hurting like hell.
"Was all them times you met with your family true?" I asked, looking up at him.
"V-"
"Answer the question."
".... No." I shook my head chuckling at this shit. "But sometimes I really did have to meet with my family."
I walked towards the door, opening it. "Get out."
"V-"
"Get the fuck out and don't ever bring yo ass back over here." I said, pointing out of the door.
He sighed and started walking out of the door.
"Wait." I said, turning towards him. "Give me the key."
He put the key in my hand then walked towards the car as I slammed the door.

"Okay let's go." I said as me, Maddie, and Ryan got ready to go over Veronica's house.
"What the hell?" I said as some unknown number called my phone.
"Ayo, this Danielle?" A familiar voice said.
"Depends on who wants to know."
"This Bryshere, I gotcha number out of Al's phone."
"Oh, well wassup?"
"Where's Veronica? She ain't answering any of my calls."
"Well some shit went down today and she might not be up to talk. We finna head over there tho." I said, grabbing my keys.
"Who's that?" Ryan whispered to me.
"Bryshere." I mouthed back.
"Ight, I'm on my way too."
"Ight."

As we all walked into the house, we seen Veronica's phone broken in half on the kitchen floor.
"Well that explains the missed phone calls." Bryshere said as he closed the door.
"A nigga back with a motherfuckin remix, and we bout to kill this shit."
Me and Ryan looked at each other with a confused look on our face. "August Alsina?"
We all go upstairs to her room and open the door to see Veronica dancing around the room like a fucking crackhead.
"Are you drunk?" Bryshere asked making me cover his mouth.
"Drunk? Hell nah, I'm just having a good time." She said, taking off her shades. I could tell she's been crying but she doesn't smell or look like she's been drinking.
"V... are you okay?" I asked putting my bag down.
"Of course, why wouldn't I be?" She said and started back dancing.
"I'm just letting the music take the pain away." She said, then smiled as she turned the music up.
"Wait, what pain? What happened?" Bryshere asked. I forgot that we didn't tell him what happened.
"Oh, yo homeboy cheated on me. But it's cool, I handle myself how I always do." She said, the sat back on the bed.
"Oh... wait Woody cheated?" He asked again. Veronica nodded as he nodded slowly like he just took something in.
"Well what y'all doing here? What we finna do?" She asked standing up.
"Well we're gonna hang out a little, if you're up to it." I said as Maddie pulled out the snacks and stuff she had in her bag.
"Okay, let's do it." Veronica said, then smiled at me.
I looked at her crazy cause she was acting strange as hell. And as we sat there with the snacks, I realized that she was zoned out.
I sighed. Damn Woody, why the fuck you do that?
