It's a new day, birds chirping, wind blow smoothly, air is cool, people walking with a smile on their face, it was a good day and Izuku is walking to school peacefully, until it wasn't any more since there's a ton of news reporters outside the school gate
'What in God's name is this?' Izuku though confuse when suddenly a reporter approach him with a mic in hand
"Hey, you! How are All Might's classes?" The reporter ask
Izuku stare at the reporter for a few second before answering "...no comment" Izuku said then he move away from the crowd
"Wait, aren't you the one from the sludge villain incident 10 months ago?" Another reporter said as he realize Izuku
"No comment" Izuku reply as he walk inside the school
But the reporters surround him and asking question much to Izuku's annoyance
Izuku then spot some of his classmate; Uraraka, Iida, Kirishima, Asui and Bakugou stuck by the reporters as well
Meanwhile Aizawa just arrive at the gate and quickly surrounded by reporters asking question
"He's not on duty today. You are disturbing the classes. Please leave" Aizawa said tiredly then walk inside the school
But unfortunately the reporters still insisting for answers when Izuku had an idea
"All right people! Listen up!" Izuku yell gaining the attention of the reporters and his classmate
"Listen, I know you all wh... is that All Might?" Izuku said pointing behind the reporters
"What?! Where?!" The reporters yell looking behind them
Izuku then look at his classmate "Run for it!" Izuku yell then he run inside then his classmate run inside as well surprising the reporters
"What? Wait!" The reporter yell as he chase them when suddenly the front gate defensive activate a steel wall, closing the front gate completely
"Wh-what the...?!" The reporter yell terrified
"Hahahaha! Man, that was something" Izuku laugh as he walk to the UA building
"That was an awesome idea, Midoriya!" Kirishima claim smacking Izuku's back
"That was rude, Midoriya! But effective as well" Iida commented
"Thank you, Midoriya" Uraraka thank him
"You could be ruthless sometimes, Midoriya, kero" Asui claim touching her chin
"Hey, they're invading our personal space, you know" Izuku reply
"Tch!" Bakugou scoff as he leave them behind
Meanwhile outside the reporters are protesting about the gates but across the street a young man with pale skin while/silver hair and black clothes watching the school from a distance
Back to School, in 1A
"Good work on yesterday's combat training. I saw the video and results" Aizawa said then he look at Bakugou
"Bakugou, you're talented, so don't act like a kid" Aizawa reminded
"I know" Bakugou said looking away
"And Midoriya" Aizawa look at Izuku "I can say I am surprise by your costume. I won't ask where you got it from, but next time be careful when using the weapon, especially to your classmate" Aizawa reminded
"Yes, sir" Izuku reply
"Now let's get down to homeroom business. Sorry about the late notice, but today, I'll have you..." Aizawa said flatly
'...take another special test?!' The students though worried
"... decide on a class representative" Aizawa finish
'It's actually a normal school activity!' The students though relief
"I want to be class rep! Pick me!" Kirishima yell with his hands in the air
"Me too!" Kaminari said raising his hand
"I want to do it, too" Jirou said raising his hand as well
"It's a job made for m-" Aoyama claim but Mina cut him
"I'll be the leader!" Mina said swinging her hands
"Let me do it! Me!" Bakugou yell raising his hand
'Good Lord' Izuku facepalm seeing his classmate behavior
"Silent, please!" Iida yell making them stop shouting and look at Iida
"It is a job with the serious responsibility of leading others. It is not a job for just anyone who wants to do it. It is a calling that requires the trust of those around you. If we want to use democracy to decide on a true leader, then we should hold an election to choose one" Iida explain with his hand up
"Your hand is raised the highest!" The students yell together
"Why did you suggest that?" Kaminari ask confuse
"We haven't known each other for that long, so how can we trust or anything?" Asui ask touching her chin
"If that's the case, and everyone votes for themselves" Kirishima said
"Don't you think that is precisely why whoever receive multiple votes here can be truly considered the most suitable person?" Iida claim
"That not always the case" Izuku said making them look at Izuku
"People can lie to gain trust, and just because someone is trustworthy doesn't mean they can lead a team. Everyone can became a leader, but not everyone can became a good leader" Izuku commented
"What do think, Earserhead?" Izuku ask Aizawa
"I don't care, as long as you decide before homeroom is over" Aizawa said before he fall down and sleep
"... how the hell did he became a teacher in the first place?" Izuku ask sweatdropping
"Let's get the election started!" Iida yell
Timeskip
In the board Izuku and Momo's name have 5 and 2 votes respectively
"Would you look at that" Izuku commented seeing his votes
"Why guns?! Who voted for him?!" Bakugou yell standing up
"Well, it's better than voting for you" Sero commented
"What do you say?!" Bakugou yell meanwhile Uraraka whistle, Kirishima smile and Asui touch her chin
'It'll be scary if Bakugou finds out' Uraraka though still whistling
"I give up, I give up. Zero votes, I knew that would happen. That is only to be expected of a person's calling" Iida said frustrated
"You voted for someone else, huh?" Yaoyorozu ask
"But you wanted to do it, too. What are you trying to do, Iida?" Sato ask confuse
Izuku and Yaoyorozu is now in front of the class
"Then, the class rep is Midoriya, and the deputy rep will be Yaoyorozu" Aizawa said sleepily
"Well, I guess 5, no, 4 people trusted me to lead this class. I'll try my best to lead you all" Izuku stated
"That might not be too bad" Asui said touching her chin
"After all's said and done, Midoriya can be pretty fired up, anyway" Kirishima agree with her
"And Yaoyorozu was cool when we were going over the battle results!" Kaminari claim
Lunch time
"There are a lot of people today, too!" Uraraka gaped
"That's because everyone in the hero course, support course, and management course meet in the same place" Iida explain
Uraraka eat some rice "The rice is so delicious!" She claim
Meanwhile Izuku just playing with his chopstick
"You okay, Midoriya?" Uraraka ask worried
"I am many things, politician is not one of them" Izuku answer sighing
"It will be alright, your courage and judgement at critical moments make you worth following. And your analytical skill when you review my performance yesterday is impressive. That's why I voted for you" Iida stated
"I know that" Izuku reply surprising Iida
"You know I vote for you?" Iida ask surprise
"Well, yeah" Izuku reply eating his food
"How?" Uraraka ask
"I just see who's votes are empty and yours, Iida, Kirishima, Asui, and Todoroki's are empty. I though Iida would vote for Yaoyorozu since she praise Iida and I called him an idiot yesterday, but I was wrong" Izuku explain
"Well, you may called me an idiot yesterday, but that because I was, carrying a nuclear bomb that recklessly is an idiot thing to do" Iida claim
"So the next 3 voters are either Uraraka, Kirishima, Tsu, or Todoroki. And since Todoroki is a hard book to read and we're not close, I'm thinking he vote Yaoyorozu, so you Uraraka and the other 2 vote for me" Izuku explain pointing his chopstick at Uraraka who is surprise
"Wow, Midoriya" Uraraka said in awe
"You able to piece together something like that with a minimal clue and a short time. Looks like we choose the right class rep" Iida said smiling
"Thanks, brother of Ingenium" Izuku reply making Iida spit his drink in shock
"Wh-what? H-how did you know he's my brother?" Iida ask surprise
"Wait Iida, your brother is a hero?" uraraka ask surprise
"Sigh... yes, my family has been heroes for generations. I'm the second son" Iida explain
"What?! Wow!" Uraraka said in awe
"Ingenium is my brother. Ingenium is an unmatched commander who honors the hero code, as the second oldest Iida son I strive to be just like him, however I think it maybe a bit too soon for me to be a real leadership role" Iida claim explaining
"Like I said, Iida, ev-" Izuku try to speak but he is cut by an alarm bell surprising the students inside the cafeteria
"There has been a level 3 security breach! All students please evacuate outdoors prompt!" An announcement said then the students began to rushing out
"What's "Level 3 security" ?" Iida ask confuse to an upper classmate
"It means someone is trespassing on school grounds! I've never seen anything like this in the three years I've been here!" The upper classmate answer frantically
"We should move!" Iida yell then he and Uraraka run to the exit but Izuku stay there and analyze the situation
"Someone breach the gates? That huge steel wall is breached...? wide map" Izuku mumble then display his wide map and see multiple green diamonds inside the school yard (see the end of chapter 4 for what green diamonds mean)
"Civvies? the reporters? They're not that crazy to breach in to the most prestige hero school like this, either this an accident or a planned attack" Izuku mumble as he walk to the now crowded halls where students try to exit while in panic
'They all so immature for a future heroes' Izuku though disappointed when he see a white diamond on the teacher office
'White diamond? Shit! The real trespasser! He's gathering intel from the teacher office!' Izuku though then try to get to the teacher office but the students blocking his way
'These idiots are panicking and blocking the fucking way!' Izuku though frustrated
Izuku try to press his way to the exit but the crowd is to dense and stop his advance 'This is going nowhere! Shit! I have to go back' Izuku though then he go back to the cafeteria then pull out his pistol, aim at the ceiling and fire 3 shots
"BANG!!! BANG!!! BANG!!!" 3 gun shots echo the cafeteria and the halls making the students to stop and take cover then look back to where the shots came from
"What the fuck is wrong with you people?!" Izuku yell frustrated while the students look at him in confusion
"You all train here to be a hero and you think panicking like this is the behavior of a future heroes?! I don't mind the first years, but the second and third years?! You all have trained here longer than us and yet you behave like a bunch of maniacs!" Izuku scolded the students who look at him with confusion and fear
"M-Mi-Midoriya... i-is t-that...?" Uraraka fearfully asking everyone's question
"Yes, this is a gun, and yes, I have special permission to carry the gun. And if you look outside you'll see that the trespassers are the press, nothing to worry about" Izuku answer calmly while pointing the window
"He's right! It's the press!" A student near the window yell making the other students calm down
"Hey, that's the police!" A student yell as they hear a police sirens outside
"Thank goodness" Another students said relief
"Sigh... now can you all please walk out of here with manner and civilize" Izuku ordered then one by one the students get out of the cafeteria with fear that Izuku would shoot them
After the students get out Izuku run to the teacher office
"Ah, Midoriya!" Uraraka call him but he keep on running
"Where he's going?" Iida ask
"I don't know, as soon he get out of the cafeteria he run away" Uraraka answer
"I don't know he carry a gun" Iida said terrified
"I don't know as well" Uraraka reply terrified
Back to Izuku, he finally reach the teacher's office gun ready, he see his radar and see the white diamond still inside. Izuku position himself then breach the room
"*Ranger Corp! Hands! Hands!" Izuku yell out as he enter the room and find it empty, Izuku scan the office and find no one inside the room, he look at his radar and that diamond is gone
"What the hell is he doing here? searching for something?" Izuku wonder as he look for anything that missing or out of place
"Nothing is missing as far as I know and nothing is out of place either, I don't know what his plan, but whoever he is he's gone" Izuku said as he walk out of the office and back to his classroom
*Ranger Corp is an organization like GI-Joe or SHIELD from MCU, an independent military/intelligence agency based in Tokyo, Japan
Back to class 1A
"Okay, lets decide who the other class officers will be, but I think you all want to know something first" Izuku said looking at the fearful eyes of his classmate
"Yes, on why you carry a gun outside the hero class" Aizawa ask everyone's question
"I have special permission from then principal to carry the gun across the school regardless of what class I'm at" Izuku answer him
"How you able to convince the principal to agree with that?" Sero ask confuse as others
"Let's just said that I'm very... persuasive" Izuku answer smiling making the students shiver
"This is a waste of time, I'll confirm this with Principal Nezu later, just hurry up with the class officers" Aizawa said tiredly
"You all heard the man. So... who want to became the secretary?" Izuku ask
To the UA front gate
"How were the ordinary members of the press able to do something like this? Someone instigated this. Did someone evil slip in, or was it intended to be a declaration of war?" Nezu ask seeing the destroyed front gate
"For today's hero basic training, it's turned into a class with three instructors, All Might and me, and one more person" Aizawa said surprising the students
'Three teachers? Did they find out what that Tango searching for?' Izuku though
"Excuse me! What we'll be doing?" Sero ask raising his hand
Aizawa hold a card with the word "RESCUE" written on it "Disasters, shipwerck, and everything in between. It's rescue training" Aizawa explain
"Rescue, looks like it'll be a lot of work this time, too" Kaminari claim
"Right!" Mina agree
"Idiot, this is the duty of a hero!" Kirishima corrected
"My arms are ready to rumble!" Kirishima claim clenching his fists
"No one can beat me in water, kero" Asui claim
"Hey, I'm not done" Aizawa said and the students became silent
"You can decide if you want to wear your costume or not this time. Because there are probably costumes that limit your abilities, too" Aizawa explain then press a button and the costume rack appear from the wall
"The training will take place off-campus, so we're taking a bus. That is all. Start getting ready" Aizawa added then he walk out
'My suit is burned out, it's still useable but I won't risk it. The equipment is mostly still in good condition. But this whole breaching situation is worrisome' Izuku though
Outside the building
Izuku is wearing an Army tan T-shit and cargo Army pants, his equipment and weapons are the same as the hero training yesterday just without the mask and helmet
"Midoriya, you're using the same clothes as entrance exam. Where's your military costume?" Uraraka ask as she approach Izuku
"My SF clothes are burn down yesterday, I'm still waiting for a replacement from the base" Izuku answer
"Base?" Uraraka ask confuse
"Uhh... let's get inside the bus, shall we?" Izuku change the topic when Iida suddenly yell
"Gather around Class 1A! Form 2 lines by your students numbers in order to make boarding the bus smoothly!" Iida ordered
"Yo, Iida! I'm the team leader, so it's my call not yours" Izuku reminded Iida
"Right! I'm sorry, class rep!" Iida apologize while bow down
"Right, okay people! Enter the bus one by one and sit where ever you like!" Izuku ordered surprising Iida
"Class rep! There's no regularity in that method! If you use my method then we will have regularity!" Iida argue with his hand up
"... my team, my call. Now get in" Izuku deadpan Iida
"But class rep! tha-" Iida try to argue again but Izuku cut him
"Iida if you don't like my leadership then you can get the fuck out of here!" Izuku yell pointing the exit gate shocking Iida
"You have 3 choices. Either lead me, follow me, or get the fuck out of my way! And since I'm in command you follow me. Now get your ass in the bus or I will make you to run to the destination without your quirk in just 5 minutes" Izuku threaten shocking Iida, terrifying the other classmate and somehow impressed Bakugou and Aizawa
"O-o-okay..." Iida said dejectedly then board the bus
"Did you have to go that far, Midoriya?" Uraraka ask fearfully
"My job as team leader is to lead and give orders. His job as my subordinate is to follow my lead and comply my orders, nothing more nothing less" Izuku reply seriously
"Now get in the bus" Izuku ordered the other students and they enter the bus hastily
Inside the bus
"I say whatever comes to mind, Midoriya" Asui said then face Izuku
"Yes, Tsu?" Izuku reply
"Did you have military training before?" Asui ask gaining the attention of the other classmate
"Yes, yes I have" Izuku answer calmly surprising the others
"Really?!" They all ask surprise
"Yeah" Izuku answer calmly
"Why?" Kaminari ask confuse
"I think it's pretty normal if your family are in the military for generations" Izuku answer surprising them
"Your family are soldiers, Midoriya?" Uraraka ask
"Yes ma'am" Izuku reply
"Now it's make sense where you get those weapons from, your family" Kaminari claim with Izuku nod in agreement
"So you have military training because you have a military family, but why you enter UA if your family are in the military?" Sato ask confuse
"Maybe because he want to be a hero" Iida said with some robot hands movement
"Actually I have no motivation at all to be a hero, Iida" Izuku corrected surprising the students
"Then why you're here then?" Surprisingly it's Todoroki who ask
"I'm following orders from my commanding officer to enroll to UA" Izuku answer
"So you enroll because you are ordered to? Why?" Mina ask confuse
"As I mention before we enter the bus that a subordinate's job it to follow orders, and I follow mine" Izuku answer calmly
"Who is this commanding officer?" Sato ask
"General of the Army, Hisashi Midoriya of the Japanese Military" Izuku answer shocking the students even Aizawa
'He-he-he's the son of a Army General?!' Bakugou though in shock
'He have more power than my family' Yaoyorozu though surprise (her family is one of the most influential family in Japan, in this story that is)
'Army General's son...' Todoroki though
"Wait, Hisashi Midoriya...?" Asui said tilting her head
"Midoriya, your father is..." Uraraka said
"The General of the Army of the Japanese Military" Izuku cut her
The students just look at Izuku with shock, awe and most important of all fear, fear that the son of their country Army General is among them, and yet some of them already annoyed him and one even try to kill him
"Don't make this sudden revelation make you behave differently to me" Izuku assure them
"Really?" Uraraka ask fearfully
"I may the son of a Military General, but that doesn't mean I will misuse my position to bully you or take advantage of that position for my own desire. Besides, I have no other desire than to serve and protect this country" Izuku explain calmly making the students to sigh off in relief
"Well I believe you, Midoriya. You never brag that you are the son of a General to us before, so I believe that you will treat us equally" Uraraka claim happily with others agreeing
"Cause I never like to brag, and there's nothing to brag about when you are a soldier, you just follow orders" Izuku stated
"We're here. Prepare yourself" Aizawa said as they reach their destination
"Yes, sir" The students responded
"Everyone, I have been waiting for you" 13 greet the students
"It's the Space Hero, 13! The gentlemanly hero who has rescued tons of people from disasters! Oh, I love 13!" Uraraka claim excitedly
"Let's go inside without delay" 13 Said as she point the entrance
"Look forward to working with you!" Class 1A said bowing down
Inside the building there are numerous site like mountains, shipwreck, fire zone, storm zone, ruins, landslide, et cetera
"Wow, it looks like Universal Studios Japan!" Kirishima claim with awe
"It is a training ground that I made with different type of accidents and disasters. It's called the "Unforseen Simulation Joint" or "USJ" for short!" 13 explain the building
'It really is USJ' The students though
'Copy right issue on that name' Izuku though
"13, where's All Might? He suppose to meet us here" Aizawa ask 13
"About that, it looks like he did too much hero work on his way to work and ran out of time, so he's resting in the lounge" 13 answer making a 3 with her fingers
"That's the height of irrationality" Aizawa said annoyed
'So his "time" has ran out' Izuku though listening to their conversation (The military/Ranger Corp keep tabs on All Might's condition from the shadow)
"It can't be helped. Shall we begin?" Aizawa ask 13
"Let's see... before we begin, let me say one thing... er... or two, or three... or four... five... six... seven..." 13 said nervously
'It's increasing...!' Class 1A though sweatdropping
"Everyone, I am sure you are aware of my quirk, Black Hole. It can suck up anything and turn it to dust" 13 explain
"Just like what a real Black Hole does" Izuku commented
"Yes, but it is a power that can kill easily" 13 claim surprising the students
"Some of you also have quirks like that, right? Especially you, with all the weapon" 13 ask the students then point at Izuku
"In a superhuman society, personal quirks have been certified and stringently regulated so that doesn't seem to be a problem at first glance. However, please do not forget that there are many quirks that can easily kill with one wrong step" 13 explain making some students touch or feel their quirks
"With Aizawa's physical fitness test, you found out about the possibility of your own hidden powers, and with All Might's person-to-person combat training, I think you experience the danger of using those powers against others. This class is a fresh start. You shall learn how to use your quirks to save people's lives. You do not have powers so you could harm others. I hope you leave here with the understanding that you have power to help others." 13 explain and the last part make Bakugou annoyed
"With great power comes great responsibilities, right?" Izuku ask 13
"Yes, that's right. That is all. Thank you for listening" 13 reply then bow down
"That was wonderful!" Mina claim excited
"Bravo! Bravo!" Iida yell clapping his hands
The other students also praise the small lecture
"All Right then, first-" Aizawa said but he is cut by lights shutting down and the fountain in the middle of the USJ stop working, then from near the fountain a black portal appear out of nowhere. From inside the portal the same person from the lunch incident appear with a hand on his face
Aizawa who see this the ordered the students "Gather together and don't move! 13, protect the students!" He yell confusing the students except Izuku who already prepare to engage
"What?" Kirishima ask confuse then he see the portal "What's that?!" He yell making the others look at the portal where some unknown people exited the portal
"Is this like the entrance exam where the lesson's already started?" Kirishima ask confuse
"No! We been breached!" Izuku yell as put the safety of his rifle off
"Don't move!" Aizawa yell then he use his googles "Those are villains" He added making the students became tense
From the portal the a big, purple, muscular, bird beak, and exposed brain creature exited and wait near the silver guy with hand on his face
"Emergency: Hostile has breached the facilities, Numbers: unknown, *Class: Class C to Class B, Location: USJ, Communication: Jammed, ,Reinforcement: Unavailable, Status: Alive, Mission: Survive" Izuku narrated
