This is my first story (if you can call it that) please be gentle.

"Are you okay?"
There's no real concern in the question. It wasn't asked because they cared.
"I'm fine."
Translation: no I'm not. Help me.
But they don't press any further they just shrug and say,"Whatever."
It hurts a bit but we all have problems. They don't need mine thrown into the mix. Or maybe me thinking that is my way of justifying me isolating myself?
I don't know and really I can't bring myself to care. It takes up to much of my time and energy trying to sort it all out and right now I can't spare either.
It hurts everywhere. It's a emotional pain and only physical pain can take away.
And nobody sees because I push them away.
