Chapter Eleven - Part Two
“Next will be the tribunal asking any questions they feel that need to be answered before we decide his fate. ” I spoke still staring at Michael till he finally looked away and whimpered.
“Damien Prince of the vampires who is here to speak for his people, is there anything you wish to ask the accused?” I asked
He nodded at me.
“You may proceed.” I spoke and sat back down not looking at anyone
I knew how I sounded coldhearted like I didn’t care about anyone, but I had to do it otherwise I would have probably killed myself. No more pain was great for me but bad for anyone else who tried to cross me
“Michael as you know Luke who has not only been recently deceased but also all rank and reputation has been removed, and any spells his mother had done as well as his own died when he did. Everyone has gone back to their normal state, they remember everything so why haven’t you?” Damien asked
I was the first time Shaun had moved. I felt Tony try to reach to touch me but I shook it off for now.
“The spells never worked on me because I was marked by my mate before I left. The only spell that was on me was to go after her and make sure she came back so we could kill her.” He spoke as he pointed to me.
I felt Sarah howling inside me with anger and heart break and could feel her turning into herself just like I had done. We were officially the most deadly wolf on this planet and no one knew.
“So you admit to wanting to murder Elizabeth Anne White, future Ruling Princess of the Wolves and my niece.” Damien asked
I watched as many of the wolves looked shocked at my uncle’s announcement. Most of these people remembered me but hadn’t known who I truly was. But if anyone expected me to take the title they had a fight on their hands because I didn’t want it.
I then noticed Michael’s face. He looked shocked at first then he started to laugh.
“If she told you that then she is lying. The whites never had children.” Michael said
This confused me, because I know both Sarah and I had told him when he first came to Free Falls Pack looking for me. But since it was Damien’s turn to talk I couldn’t speak my mind.
“According to the records in your file you just lied to us. She informed you when you found her a little over a week after she left.” Damien spoke
“No that’s a lie it took me three months to find her and she never once mentioned any of that to me.” Michael was yelling now.
We both looked at the witch who was covered up in a cloak so you really couldn’t see her face.
“He is telling the truth as he knows it. His mind has been altered sir.” She spoke quietly but with the knowledge that she was right.
All the wolves looked at her like they had finally noticed her for the first time and I could see in their eyes questioning why she wasn’t dead yet for speaking.
“Fine next question, did you not see a problem committing these acts. These were your friends, your pack. But most of the entire thing I have the biggest problem with is the fact you killed so many of MY vampires and most were children. Why would you do this?” Damien asked
The crowd looked shocked at the fact their ex-alpha had murdered children whether or not they were vampires.
“Luke told me they had to die, that they were on her side. That she was coming to kill him and he needed strength if he was going to kill her.” Michael was crying at this point.
“I’m done, I have asked all the questions I needed answers to” Damien said looking disgusted by what he had heard
Everyone watched as he sat down and saw for the first time a tear fall from the Prince himself for the ones he had lost by one crazy wolf and his even crazier mate.
“Frank if you wish you may now speak.” I spoke but there was nothing in my voice anymore.
He looked at me and then stood up.
“My name is Francis Pharaoh and my father was the alpha of this pack. He died at the hand of Luke’s father James. He had a woman he mated with named Eve to put a spell on this pack to make us forget what he had done. The horror he put us through we are only now starting to remember again. You and your mate did the
same thing as James and Eve did and I wish you the same future they had.” Frank spoke with anger as he looked at Michael.
“That is all I wanted to say to you filth.” Frank sat back down again
I noticed some people looked at him with sympathy and a brief question of why flashed through my mind then disappeared.
“Terri it is now your turn to speak to the accused” I spoke looking straight ahead but seeing nothing
She was the only other female on this panel. I was curious to hear what she had to say. I watched her stand up.
“My name is Terri Jones and I only have one question to ask you. I get it you hate Elizabeth, but why would you hurt your own brother? What did he ever do to you?” Terri asked looking pissed as hell
I lifted one of my eye brows at her question because I expected it to come out of Shaun’s mouth not hers.
“He is no brother of mine. He couldn’t accept me when we were growing up, thought he had to beat the gay out of me, burn in hell asshole. You are no brother of mine, my brother died when we were twelve” Michael growled at Shaun
“You are sick and disgusting and if I could I would kill you right now so Shaun wouldn’t have to listen to you. He deserves better from you.” Terri spoke through gritted teeth and then sat back down.
I guess they had grown close as the rumors I had heard. It was good that Shaun had someone in his corner for him.
“Ryan do you have any questions for the accused” I said
I refused to look at anyone specific otherwise they would see the monster I had become underneath my façade.
Ryan shake his head no, but he stood up anyway.
“My name is Ryan Jones and I have nothing to ask this piece of trash and nothing to say that already hasn’t been said already.” Ryan spoke softly but you could hear the anger that he was trying to control
“Shaun as his only living blood and part of this tribunal is there anything you wish to say” I spoke looking directly at Shaun.
Shaun stood up with the folder in his hand.
“My name is Shaun David Walker, brother to Michael Walker, and my wolf’s name is Tyrone and he might make an appearance.” Shaun spoke with a shaky voice.
“So this is what you have become. The monster you swore I was, and you turned into.” He said showing him each picture.
Michael never moved and if you were looking closely, you would swear he didn’t feel anything at all. But it was in his eyes, the horror of what he had become.
“Shut up, you were never any better. Beating me till I bled then laughing about it. You tormented her (pointing to me) more than I ever did. How many broken bones did she have to heal? How many cuts did the pack doctor have to give her because of you?” Michael was asking and yelling it out at the same time.
I saw Shaun look at me with a guilty look on his face.
“Yes your right I did do those things on the order of James and Luke because they were my alpha. Yes I hated her for a long time so it was easier to follow the alpha’s orders but I never killed children. I never fed children to be eaten like feeding rats to snakes. That was you, so who is the bigger monster, you or me?” Shaun asked and then sat back down.
I finally looked at Shaun and probably for the last time and saw the defeat and the sadness in there. He knew what was going to happen and knew that there was nothing he could do to stop it.
“Tony do you wish to speak or ask the accused anything.” I spoke harshly
I heard Tony stand up and felt him lay his hand on my shoulder and I felt how it was shaking. Since I wasn’t looking at him I couldn’t tell if it was from anger, sadness, or grief but I knew he was hurting badly.
“My name is Tony Falls and I am the alpha of the Free Falls Pack. I trusted you, I took you in, I fed you and clothed you, and I let you near Elizabeth. As her protector I failed her because you hurt her the most. I don’t want any answers from you and I wish I had never met you.” Tony spoke with so much pain.
“But I also want you to know that what you did and what you have become has only made us stronger, had made us closer, and has made us a family. But do not credit this to you and the man you claim as your mate because she is the one that healed us when you caused our pain.” Tony spoke still grabbing my shoulder
“When you crushed us she lifted us, and when you broke us she filled those cracks with love at her own expense. You will die here tonight by her hands and all of us will be filled with joy at the sight but will also be saddened because she will take the blame for your death. You came in this world with nothing and so should you leave it.” Tony spoke and then sat down.
You could tell what he said had an effect on the crowd but he was wrong I wasn’t their savior and I never would be. All I was good at was death now. But at the end he was right I would be blamed for his death by the one person who had loved me so much as a child and hated me now as an adult.
I felt the witch’s eyes on me when Tony had placed his hand on me and knew without a doubt she was his mate and I wouldn’t interfere with it. Because if I did I was afraid I would taint it somehow with the death that clung to me.
Everyone on the panel had spoken up and now it was my turn. I had so many things running through my mind that I had no idea what to even say to the man I had grown to hate with a passion. I stood up and continued on with the trial.
“My name is Elizabeth Anne White, also known as Elizabeth Anne Walker or Anna. I used to belong to the Moon Star Pack and was abused every day after the death of my adoptive parents. I finally left after being rejected by the ex-alpha Luke who I had thought was one of my mates at the time.” I spoke with no emotion
“I then later confided in you Michael when you found me and Sarah my wolf and I told you everything. You swore to protect me, to love me, and to never hurt me. We were happy for two years till we came back here and you changed. You changed for the worse and whatever love I had for you is gone. I hate you, I wish you never existed, I wish I had let them kill you when you found me, and I wish I could have killed Luke over and over and over again because he never gave one shit about you.” I said wondering if I would feel the spark of anger but there was nothing.
“Now you said you found my birth mothers journal and you burned it, is that true or were you just trying to hurt me some more?” I asked him because I was honestly curious and I wanted answers.
All he did was look at me and laugh. He was laughing so hard there were tears coming out of his eyes.
“Oh you little bitch who cares if you hate me or not. And yes I did find your mothers journal purely by luck though. I opened it up and read the sweat little dedication she wrote out for you and when I realized it was for you I burned it right there. I stayed watching as it burned till it was nothing but ashes. Of course Luke was mad but he soon got over it when I screwed his brains out.” He spoke and at the beginning was laughing but when he mention Luke started to cry.
I waited for him to finished crying and was getting bored with it already.
‘Yes we know Luke is dead now stop crying so I may continue this.” I spoke like I was talking to air
Michaels face shot up like I had just announced that Luke was still alive and looked straight at me and spoke once more.
“You should be angry, you should be in pain, why are you not angry and why are you not in pain. I want to see you cry damn it show me some emotion.” He stated angrily at me
All I did was just stare at him but he must have seen something in my eyes because he started to scream out “monster” and that was the thing that got me to smile which scared him even more.
I sat back down and stared at my hands. It was time to decide if he was to live or die.
“As we all have spoken now it’s time to decide. Does he live or die?” I asked
“Death” Spoke Damien
“Death” Spoke Frank
“Death” Spoke Terri
“Death” Spoke Ryan
I looked at Shaun and realized his wolf had taken over.
“Death” Spoke Tyrone, Shaun’s wolf
“Death” Spoke Tony
Now it was my turn. The power to let him live or die was in my hands. But as much as Shaun wanted me to save his brother I couldn’t morally do it.
I looked at everyone he had hurt past and present.
“Death” I spoke loud enough for all to hear.
We had voted and it was settled.
“Since it is clear I will state it for the record. Due to the charges that were brought up against you which Frank read out loud but I will state again.” I spoke
“The charges include: Murder, attempted murder, Conspiracy to commit murder, murder after the fact, torcher of a fellow pack mate, torcher to a wolf belonging to another pack, feeding a total of fifteen human mates to a known skin walker, and mutilating more humans than we could count and find which belonged to the vampires and last but not least attempting to expose us to humans.” I spoke and you could hear the silence in the forest.
I felt Sarah with me as I said the next part.
“You plead guilty to all the charges I just said and the sentencing is DEATH.” I yelled the last part so all would hear including the ones who had left.
All you could hear were cheers in the back ground but the ones in the crowd facing me were quiet till the end. They were going to get the justice they felt owed to them.
“Before we move on to how we are going to kill you Michael I have a question for Damien.” I said
I could feel Sarah laughing in glee when she found out what I had planned on doing next. I watched Damien stand up and look at me and bow.
“Yes Princess.” Damien spoke with a smirk on his face
“Do you still have Luke’s body and the hell hounds?” I asked him
When we were training one day he had told me he had found two hellhounds as pups and had raised them. Now that they were older they stayed with him by choice and the only thing they could eat was dead raw flesh. I watched the others look at me confused but Damien’s eyes lit up, that told me he knew what I was thinking and agreed.
“Yes I do.” Damien spoke
“Good, bring them back after this is over then if you will please.” I spoke now with a smile on my face.
I looked at Michael and had the biggest and scariest smile on my face and watched him gulp in fear.
“You messed with the wrong bitch Michael, you saw me in action and yet you still tried which tells me how stupid you truly are. I hereby command that you are going to die but before you do I’m going to torcher you with watching as I feed bit by bit of a dead Luke to Damien’s hell hounds. Plus the benefit to it is even though he’s dead already every time I cut him you will feel it.” I said with no emotion what so ever
Once I was finished informing him of what I was going to do I saw him pale and scream out “you wouldn’t, you are not that evil.”
I laughed for the first time since this crap started but it was a hollow laugh and looked him dead in the eyes and said “Your right I wasn’t but you made me this way so enjoy the show.”
“I hereby end this trial and command you Michael to watch your mate be eaten by hell hounds then die after words by my hands.
I felt the connection to Mother Nature and the Moon Goddess leave me but I knew
I had made the right decision. I watched as everyone left and watched as they dragged a kicking and screaming Michael back to his cell. He was finally afraid of me and it felt good. I would question my behavior later. I felt Sarah and tried to find out if she agreed with my decision and all I heard was a cold laughter in my mind and knew I had done the right thing tomorrow Michael’s ass was ours.
