Toni couldn't believe it. Her son, her only son. Was turning 1.
She remembers when he was just a baby as she cradled him in her arms.
She and Cheryl planned a party for him at their house. They had party games, cake, A mini cake for Amari to smash into, and a lot of candy bags.
"Amari! Your one!" Addison and Adelaine clapped as Amari giggled.
Cheryl walked in, holding the girls' outfits.
"Okay, girls. Let mama bathe you so you can get dressed." Cheryl said, picking up Amari so she can bathe him also.
"Okay." They said, letting Toni lead them out of the room.
Amari pushed Cheryl's hands away as she washed his stomach.
Cheryl cried last night. Her son was a freaking one! When the girls turned one, Cheryl had a whole mental breakdown.
She was realizing that the older they get the sooner they won't be under the same roof with them.
"Come on, Mari! Let me wash you." Cheryl said, continuing her washing.
Amari let her do it too.
Once Cheryl was done, she dressed him in the most cutest outfit.

"My God. You look so cute!" Cheryl said, picking him up.
Addison and Adelaine walked in, pink dresses on.
Addison had a pout on her face.
"What's wrong, mon petite amour?" Cheryl asked.
"Mama made me put on a dress! I just wanted to wear shorts." Addison cried.
"Hey. Hey, You can where shorts later. Don't you want to look nice on your little brother's birthday?" Cheryl asked.
Addison nodded, smiling at the boy who reached out for her.
He sensed his sister's current state, so why not make her feel better.
Addison held Amari by his waist.
"Is it just me or did he get heavier?" She asked.
"He got heavier," Cheryl said, brushing Adelaine's hair.
"I just love you girls' hair! It's better than mine." Cher praised.
"Pssf. As if. Mommy, you have better hair than us." Adelaine said, playing with Amari's hand.
Cheryl chuckled, placing her hair in a ponytail.
"Your turn, Adi," Cheryl said, placing Adelaine off of the counter.
"Can I just leave it out?" Addison asked as Cheryl places her on the counter.
"Okay, my love," Cheryl said, grabbing a headband.
She brushed her long red hair back, then placed the headband on her head.
"There you go. Beautiful as always." Cheryl smiled.
Toni walked in with a smile, picking up Amari.
He cried out as he was taken off the floor.
"Jughead, Betty, Veronica, and Tyson is here," Toni said, kissing Addison's cheek.
"You guys look beautiful," Toni said.
"Thanks, mama," Adelaine said.
"Come on. Let's go downstairs." Cheryl smiled.

Everyone had arrived.
Since it was a nice day out, they moved the party to the back yard.
"Okay. Who wants him?" Cheryl asked.
"Me!" Veronica said, gently taking Amari from Cheryl.
Cheryl rolled her eyes. "You act as you've never seen him before." Cheryl laughed, going over to help Toni with the cake.
Amari pushed Veronica's hands away as she tickled him. He giggled and laughed, his two front teeth showing.
Addison and Adelaine played tagged with Tyson. Their neighbors Isabella and Isaac also come over to play.
Cheryl loved Isabella and Isaac. The two kids' parents, not so much.
Their parents were drunks. And Cheryl, as Queen, doesn't want the kids to see their parents like that but there's nothing she can do.
They make sure they eat, that they are clean. And they don't show any sign of abuse so she can't just pin them on being drunks.
So Cheryl tends to invite them over for a sleepover or just to hang out. Isaac and Isabella are also twins. But they have Addison and Adelaine by 2 years.
Sometimes the kids would come running to them when their parents would fight. That's how they discovered them in the first place.
Anyways back to Amari's party.
"Betty brought a mini cake for him to eat by himself," Toni said, placing the cake in the fridge.
Cheryl nodded, grabbing Toni's hand as the walkout to the back yard.
"Hey! We have popsicles!" Toni yelled for the kids.
They come running, grabbing them off of the table.
Toni rolled her eyes.
"Hey, mom!" She said, walking over to her mother.

"It's time to cut the cake!" Cheryl said, tickling Amari's stomach. He squirmed and giggled in his mother's arms.
Cheryl kissed his head as she placed him in his high chair.
Toni walled in with his cake, while Betty grabbed the big cake.
Toni placed it on the chair, unwrapping it.
Amari touched it. "Hey. Wait." Toni warned.
He frowned. Toni rolled her eyes.
"Okay. Ready!" Cheryl said, picking up both Addison and Adelaine.
"Happy birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Amari, Happy Birthday to you!"
As everyone sang. Amari did a little dance in his seat.
Toni laughed at him, hoping someone got that on video. It made her realize that he was growing up.
He's getting older, and that scared Toni. She didn't want any of her kids to grow up, but it's a part of life.
Everything cheered as Toni and Cheryl blew out his candles.
Amari clapped, not knowing what everyone was so excited about.
"Okay, Amari. Dig in!" Toni said.
Amari smashed his hand into the cake. Everyone started taking pictures.
He grabbed some, handing it to Toni.
"He wants to share." Toni giggled, taking some.
"Share with mommy and sisters." Toni smiled.
He grabbed some more, handing it to his mother and sisters.
Cheryl chuckled, licking some off of his hand.

Once everyone passed over his gifts. They said their goodbyes.
Toni and Cheryl cleaned up the backyard. While Adelaine and Addison keep an eye on Amari on the patio.
"This is why I don't have parties in the backyard." Cheryl groaned.
Toni huffed, throwing the garbage away.
"We're done anyway." Toni laughed, walking back into the house.
"Come on. Let's get you two in the bath, and in bed. It's late." Toni said, picking up the girls.
Cheryl picked up Amari and took him to bathe also.
Toni put the girl's pajamas on them then lotioned their arms.
"Okay. Get into bed. I and mommy will be here to tuck in you." Toni said, leaving the room.
Addison and Adelaine got into bed, talking until Toni comes back.
Toni entered Amari's room. Cheryl kissed his forehead as she drifted off to sleep.
"He's growing up, huh?" Toni whispered.
"Sadly. Yes." Cheryl sighed, caressing his brown curly hair.
"Yep. But, he's gonna be the one thing the world needs." Toni smiled.
"He sure is." Cheryl chuckled.
"Come on. The girls are waiting for us." Toni said.
Cheryl nodded, walking out.
"Happy birthday, Mari." Toni whispered, shutting off the light and closing the door.
She made it to the Twins room, sighing as she sat on Adelaine's bed.
"You girls had fun today?" Cheryl asked.
"Yes! I had a lot of fun." Addison smiled.
Adelaine yawned with a nod.
"Okay. Get some sleep." Cheryl said, tucking in Addison.
Toni tucked in Adelaine. They kissed their foreheads.
Then left the room for them to sleep.
