Audrey's POV
"KIDS, LUNCH IS READY." Mom yells as I put my shirt back on after helping her cook.
After my shirt is on I grab Mom and I a drink then we wait while for Chase and Athena to get their food.
"Hope?" Athena asks.
"Yes sweetie?" Mom says.
"Where are we eating?"
"It's a nice day so why don't we eat outside." Mom says.
"Okay." Athena says then she and Chase head outside.
Once Athena and Chase are outside I hug my Mom.
"They'll call you Mom eventually." I say.
"I know." Mom says before she kisses my head then we get our food. "Have you heard from Daan recently?"
"Yeah we talked last night." I say.
"Audrey someone's here to see you." Kelley says as she walks into the kitchen
"Who?" I question then turn around.
The moment I turn around I come face to face with the most beautiful women in the world
"Hi." Daan says and smiles.
"How...What...when...Huh?" I ramble.
"Go." Mom says and pushes me towards my girlfriend.
I walk towards my girlfriend to hug her, but i'm interrupted by a certain black husky.
"Hi Balto." Daan says then she squats down and pets Balto.
"Balto." I whine.
"Oh hush." Daan says then she stands up.
Once Daan is on her feet, I pull her into my arms and tightly hug her.
"I missed you." I mumble into Daan's hair then I kiss her head.
"I missed you too Audi." Daan says. "You're phone's buzzing."
"Oops." I say then Daan and I stop hugging.
I then pull my phone out and see someone from Spain is calling
"Hello?"
"Hi is this Audrey Solo?"
"Depends who this is." I say then I put the phone on speaker.
"This is Marisa Aparicio." The woman says with a Spanish accent. "And I'm a representative of FC Barcelona."
"Okay?" I say as I look at my Mom and Daan in a confused manner.
"Our women's team would like to discuss your contract."
"What about it?" I question.
"We'd like to start working on a transfer for you." Marisa says.
"I'm not interested." I say then hang up.
"Well then." Daan says as I lock my phone
"I'm tired of those calls." I say then I look at my girlfriend. "Hungry?
"I could eat." Daan says then my Mom gets her some food.
"Come on." I say after. "There's two people I want you to meet."
Daan takes my hand then I lead her and Balto outside.
"Hey Audrey." Chase says.
"Hey." I say. "There's someone I want you two to meet."
"Who?" Athena asks as Daan walks to my side.
"This is my girlfriend, Daniëlle van de Donk." I say.
"Hi." Daan says then I look at her.
"Daan this my brother Chase and my sister Athena."
"Wait what?" Daan asks.
"Why don't we explain." Kelley says as she and Mom come out onto the back patio.
Everyone sits down around the back patio table then Mom and Kelley explain to Daan how I got a new brother and sister while we eat lunch.
"Wow." Daan says at the end of the adoption story.
My girlfriend goes to speak again, but my phone rings again so I check and see it's an overseas number.
"Yes?" I ask when I answer my phone.
"Hi this is Sabine Wickler and I represent Wolfsburg."
"Mhmm."
"And we'd like to start working on a contract for you." The Wolfsburg lady says so I look at Daan.
"You interested?" I mouth.
"No." Daan mouths.
"Not interested." I say then hang up.
"So how many is that now?" Mom asks.
"Four." I say.
"Why are they calling you?" Chase asks.
"They want me to move teams and play for them." I say.
"Oh."
"So you're staying in London?" Athena asks.
"For now." I say and Daan nods. "If something interests us both and is a fit for us then we'll talk about it."
"How long are you two here for?" Kelley asks.
"We have to report back on August 10th." Daan says.
"Aww man." Chase says. "You're gonna miss my first high school football game."
"And my first high school volleyball game." Athena says.
"I know." I say. "I'll try to make it during the season when we have off weeks."
"Okay." Chase says.
"But enough sad stuff." I say. "How about you and Athena help Mom and Kelley with the dishes while I help Daan with unpacking then we can go practice for your game."
"Deal." Chase says.
"And after we practice Baseball for awhile." I say as I look at Athena. "We can go to the gym and work on your Volleyball stuff."
"Sweet." Athena says and smiles.
"Well come on kids." Kelley says. "Let's go do the dishes.
Mom takes mine and Daan's plate then she leads my siblings and Kelley to the kitchen while I take Daan and Balto to my room.
Once Daan, Balto, and I are in my room, I close the door then I bring my girlfriend into my arms, pick her up, then spin her around.
"Audrey." Daan says as then she giggles.
"I missed you so much." I say as I stop spinning.
Daan smiles down at me then she cups my face and softly kisses me.
"I missed you too." Daan whispers against my lips.
"I'm sorry I was an ass and didn't talk to you about everything."
"It's okay." Daan says. "I'm sorry I was a bitch and wouldn't listen."
"It's okay." I say then I kiss my girlfriend.
"Audrey?" Athena says as she knocks on the door.
"You ready?" I ask as I set Daan down.
"Yeah."
"Alright one sec." I say then Daan and I grab everything we need.
Once Daan and I have everything, I clip Balto into his lead then we open the door.
"Where's Chase?" I ask.
"Water." My younger sister says.
"Alright." I say then the four of us head to where Chase is.
"Ready?" Chase asks and I nod.
"MOM?" I yell.
"YEAH?" Mom yells back.
"DAAN, BALTO, AND I ARE TAKING ATHENA AND CHASE TO PRACTICE FOR A LITTLE WHILE." I shout. "AND WE'RE TAKING YOUR CAR."
"OKAY." Mom yells. "REMEMBER WE HAVE DINNER RESERVATIONS AT 7."
"OKAY." I Shout. "LOVE YOU."
"LOVE YOU GUYS TOO." Mom says.
"LOVE YOU." Kelley shouts. "BE SAFE."
"BYE." I shout then we head out to Mom's car.
Once at Mom's car Daan and I get in the front while Athena gets in the back first then balto gets in and sits in the middle seat before Chase gets in the back.
"So." I say then look in the back seat at my siblings. "Where to first?"
"Um." Chase says as he plays with his thumbs. "We don't have our own equipment."
"You don't?" I question.
"Our teammates usually bring us our stuff." Athena says.
"Alright." I say as I back out of the driveway. "I know where we'll head first."
Once out of the driveway I head for the nearest sports store.
"Hey Audrey." Athena says.
"Yes?" I ask.
"Has Kelley adopted you yet?"
"She has not."
"Oh."
"...Would you want her too?" Daan asks.
"At the moment no." I say.
"Why?" Chase asks.
"Long story." I say as we pull up to the Sporting goods store. "But we can discuss that later. Let's go see what this place has."
I park the car then the five of us head inside and once inside I grab a cart.
"You two get whatever you need for your sports and put it in this cart." I say. "Don't look at the price tag. Just get what you want and what you feel comfortable in."
"Really?" Athena asks.
"Mhmm." I say. "I'm paying so get to shopping."
"Thanks Audrey." Chase says as he and Athena hug me which makes me involuntarily smile
I think I'm gonna like having siblings.
