"howdy" i smiled walking up besides payton
"hey you know where your going take me" he laughed
"you got lunch?" i asked
"yep" he said
"same okay let's go" i smiled
"how long have you and the girls known each other?" he asked
"sophia since we were five, aaliyah since we were three and olivia we met beginning of middle school" i shrugged
"how have i never met you then, if you've known sophia that long" he mumbled
"we must have met at least once" i said, he nodded and we walked into the cafeteria
"we sit at the same table every day, it has a spare seat so you can sit with us if you want" i replied
"yeh that'd be good" he said, i nodded and we made our way over to the table
"buttercup" jesse smiled
"yo" i said sitting down besides him
"how's your first day going?" sophia asked looking at payton
"boring" he shrugged sitting the other side of me
"that's oakfield for ya" i shrugged
"wait omg did you hear about tristan and daniel?" aaliyah said
"what now" i asked
"they broke up" olivia said
"good for him, she's a nightmare" i mumbled
"she doesn't seem that bad" payton shrugged
"i once took a shirt out of her room and she went crazy, she strangled me with it" i said
"i was there, she did" jesse said
"you're probably just as bad though" he replied
"you know her so well" olivia laughed, i rolled my eyes and stole one of jesse's fry's
"so what's your mom making tonight?" sophia asked
"i don't know" i replied
"your coming tonight?" payton asked looking over at sophia
"yep" she smiled
"i'm glad, my family is so awkward" i said shaking my head
"yeh not as awkward as faith, she says nothing" payton replied
"if tristan's split up with daniel then she won't be there tonight she'll be at eden's" i shrugged
"so you haven't actually heard what happened" aaliyah mumbled
"what?" i asked
"daniel cheated on her with eden" olivia said, my face dropped and i let out a sigh
"that's it, i'm never getting a boyfriend" i shrugged
"i agree don't do it" aaliyah laughed
"just because it happened to your mom, ashton and tristan doesn't mean it's going to happen to you" jesse said
"there's a high chance it will happen to her" sophia said
"it's good, i don't need no mans anyway" i said
"speaking from someone who rang me up this morning at four am to tell me she's single and thinks that th-
"shut up" i said cutting olivia off form her sentence
"oh oh right yep" she nodded looking at payton then jesse then me
"what?" sophia smirked
"anyway payton, why'd you move here?" i asked
"well we were moving house anyway and like i dropped out of school a few years back and i wanted to start up again" he shrugged
"what lucky, i wanna drop out" i pouted
"it's boring" he shrugged
"can't relate, if i dropped out i'd watch shrek all day everyday" aaliyah said
"i'd so join you" i replied, the boys let out a small laugh and jesse shook his head
