Pixzie's POV
Natapos nadin ang lahat ng morning classes namin and I still haven't talked to Sky about our projects because everytime I would attempt to talk to him he suddenly disappeares.
I also told Python about sa pagkikita namin ni Elise ngayon.
"Ok kalang ba na mag isa pumunta don?" tanong ni Python sakin.
"Oo naman, sige na una na'ko baka hinihintay na ako ni Elise don"
"Excited much?" pagbibiro nya sakin, I just playfully glared at her.
"Joke lang, tawagan nalang kita or text kung lunch time na. Tutal nag exchange naman tayo ng numbers kanina" sabi ko sakanya na tinanguan nya lang, at nag paalam na kami sa isa't isa.
I was about to walk away when Python called for me.
"Pix! Kung hindi mo ako ma tawagan o hindi ako nag rereply sa text mo, puntahan mo nalang ako sa Library or sa field" pahabol nya then I gave her a thumbs up.
Malapit na ako sa cafeteria nang may napansin ako na parang may sumusunod akin. Lilingon na sana ako but a pair of hands covered my eyes.
"YAH!! Let go of me!!" I shouted while trying to get out of my current state, but then I thought of a move that I learned from martial arts.
But before my right hand could even grip and twist the persons arm it was gently held and I was turned like we're ball dancing, when I finally faced the person I lost my balance but instead of hitting the ground I felt a hand grabbed my waist. Napakalapit na ng mga mukha namin ngayon at isang galaw ko lang ay maghahalikan na kami, I realized that the person is a "he" and HOLY REALIZATION its--
"E- E- Elise?" Nauutal kong tanong, feeling my cheeks heating up
"You're even more beautiful in closeup, my lady" he said smiling and I smiled back too
When we noticed na may mga students na palang dumadaan sa hallway ay agad kaming lumayo sa isa't isa at tumayo ng maayos while avoiding each others gaze, binalot kami ng napaka-awkward na katahimikan ng ilang segundo pero nabasag naman iyon nung magsalita si Elise.
"Uhh," he started while shyly scratching the back of his neck "Sorry if that made you uncomfy"
"No-- its ok, I'm fine" I said making him look at me, I looked back and gave him a reassuring smile.
Binalot ulit kami ng katahimikan but this time ako naman ang bumasag non.
"Hey, I thought we we're supposed to meet at the cafeteria?"
"Oh yeah, medyo late kasi natapos yung class ko. Kakababa ko lang ng hagdan, about to go to the cafeteria but I saw you pass by, so I followed you quietly. Good thing I didn't make you wait for me there" I slightly nodded as he finished explaining.
"So, saan pala tayo pupunta?" tanong ko na nginitian nya lang, he grabbed my wrist and ran while dragging me with him to who knows where.
We stopped running in front of the schools Mini Store and immediately went inside.
"Bibili tayo ng snacks?" tanong ko
"Yeah, and drinks" sabi nya habang namimili ng snacks, still not letting go of my wrist
"So hindi pa pala ito yung totoong destination natin?"
"Nope" sabi nya habang hinihila ako papuntang refrigerator
"Then where?"
"Just trust me" he turned to me and gave me a reassuring smile, babalik na sana sya sa pamimili ng drinks pero natigil sya at mabilis na lumingon ulit sa akin with his frowned face looking at my free hand and then back to me "Bakit wala ka pang napili?"
"Huh-- ooohh, I got distracted asking you some questions and forgot the reason on what we're really here for... Sarrey" after I said that an awkward grin made its way to my lips that made me receive a giggle and a soft pinch on my cheek
"You're cute when you're shy, halika na at tulungan na kitang mamili" sabi nya at hinila ako pabalik sa may mga snacks.
Pagkatapos naming mamili ay dumiretso agad kami sa checkout counter na may mahabang pila.
"Give me your foods" sabi niya with his hand out na nagpataka sa akin
"Why?"
"Ako na lang ang pipila, dun ka nalang muna sa may mga upuan at hintayin mo nalang ako. Baka mapagod ka dyan kakatayo" I smiled at his words, what a gentleman
Sinunod ko ang sinabi nya at umupo sa mga upuang malapit sa pinto ng Mini Store, I took out my phone and played a game called Rhythm Hive.
After a minute...
"Let's go?"
A sudden voice that made me flinch and held my chest in the middle of my game
"Ok kalang?" Elise quickly asked, lumuhod sya upang pantayan ako at maingat na hinawakan ang balikat ko. I looked at him and I can see the concern in his eyes, I gave him a tight smile
"Ok lang ako, nagulat lang"
"I'm so sorry, hindi ko alam na madali ka palang magulat"
"Elise, it's ok. You don't need to apologize" I said between giggles
"Oh, ok. But I'll be careful from now on, I'll make sure not to scare my angel again" when those words hit my ears especially the part when he called me 'my angel' butterflies began fluttering inside my stomach and then he offered me his hand, I accepted it at sabay kaming tumayo.
"Let's go?" I nodded at his question and lumabas na kami ng Mini Store with his hand holding mine
Ilang hagdan na ang naakyat namin and I'm starting to get tired, huminto muna ako at umupo. Napansin siguro iyon ni Elise kaya huminto din siya at umupo sa tabi ko, pagkatapos ng ilang segundo ay tinanong nya na ako.
"Kaya mo pa ba?"
"Hmm" I hummed at tumayo na para magpatuloy sa pag-akyat ng hagdan. Elise followed pero tumigil sya sa unahan ko ng nakatalikod at lumuhod ng konti.
"What are doing?" I asked tilting my head to the side to see his face
"Sakay" he said while pointing me his back
"Why?"
"I'll give you a piggyback ride cause I know you're tired" sabi nya at inabot ang hawak kong plastic bag.
"U-uh, are you sure? Baka mapagod ka nyan?" paninigurado ko na tinanguan nya lang, sumakay din naman ako kasi parang hindi ko na nga kaya.
He started walking up the stairs, I felt my cheeks heat up and the butterflies in my stomach came back along with the whole jungle, I slowly placed my chin on his shoulder then I heard a chuckle leaving Elise's lips. This is my first time having this kind of interaction with a guy, except for my dad, brother and Davy. I usually don't let boys be touchy with me lalo na kung bago pa lang kami nagkakilala at nagkita, it just makes me feel uncomfy. But with Elise I don't feel it, I know we just met a couple of hours ago but I already feel safe and free when I'm with him. Is he really the one?
Pagkatapos ng ilang minuto ay tumigil na sa paglalakad si Elise at ibinaba na ako.
"Anong meron at bakit pala tayo dito pumunta sa rooftop?" tanong ko sakanya dahil nakalimutan kong tanungin sya nung otw pa lang kami dito.
"Come" sabi nya habang hinihila ako papuntang railings ng rooftop "I brought you here to see this"
The moment I saw it my eyes began to sparkle as the fresh wind blew my hair
"Wooaah~ It feels refreshing up here, you can see the whole school"
"Umupo muna tayo" pag aaya nya at inalalayan ako papunta sa isa sa mga bench dito sa rooftop
"Thank you, so--" he cutted me
"Elyza, can I ask you something?"
"Yeah, of course. Go ahead"
"Uhm, can you--" he stopped and thought of something "can we be friends?"
Hindi ko alam kung bakit parang na disappoint ako sa tanong nya-- I mean it's not like I was expecting him to ask different question, like to be his girlfr-- Aiish!!! What's wrong with my thoughts? Being friends is a good start, I should get to know him more first right? Yeah, right!
"Of course!" I said happily which made Elise grin and gently pinched my cheeks.
