"Mom! Xander and I are going out to Whataburger You want Anything?" I yell as im running down the stairs.
You see Xander and I are twins. He's older than me by 2 minutes. he looks Alot like my dad. Who sadly died in an accident when we were 13. its been five years but we still keep his memory alive. Anyways my brother has Black hair and grey eyes. He is also tall he's about 6'1. plays basketball like my dad used to back in high school. Me? I look like my mom. and my mom is beautiful if you ask me. I Have her deep red hair and green eyes. Im about her height Im 5'7. I played volleyball in high school. My brother and I both got scholarships to UCLA. My brother with his basketball scholarship and I with my Volleyball scholarship. Its currently June 30th and since college starts in late august we decided to have one month to expolore california and what it has to offer and we have leave early tomorrow morning. All of our furniture is already at our new house in Cali so we just have air mattresses in our rooms and so we can take the last of our stuff. So Xander and I are making our last day count by going to Whataburger.
The one thing Im going to miss about Texas is Whataburger.
"Heres my keys and 10$ I want a number 1 with no Onion and a diet coke. curly fries on the side" My mom says handing me the cash.
"Okay mom love you" I hug her and head outside were Xander was waiting outside my moms car
"Love you too sweetie" My mom yells while im out the door

"You know if you Meet a quote "super cute surfer dude" He's gonna have to meet me before he even decides to date you." My brother says while sipping his fanta.
"But you scare all the boys i introduce you to away!" I whine
"exactly nobodys good enough for my baby sister" he shrugs as if its normal
"Shut up Xander! only by 2 minutes. TWO WHOLE MINUTES!" I shoot back
Its currently 10pm and we are finishing our food we bought in the living room. Somehow our topic of discussion went from "water isnt wet" to "nobody is good enough for me"
"Alright alright Im done and Im gonna hit the hay. Goodnight 'XANDY'" I smirk knowing he hates it when i call him that.

Man i hate that name. But i walked right into that one.
Right as im laying down on this disgrace of an air mattress I pull out my phone to text my bestfriend Jackson. AKA Jax. He moved and now lives in Cali with his dad. Him, my brother and I are childhood friends. But he and I have a strong bond. I hate to say it but he might be more of a brother than my ACTUAL brother.
R: Hey Jax! Soooo tomorrows the big day! LET US UNITE! Lol
J: Hey Ruby! Shouldnt you be asleep? you guys leave at 2 in the morning and its already 10:30 and its gonna be a 20 hour car ride.
R: Yeah you right i only got 3 and a half hours to sleep. but i can stay up. three hours of sleep is worse than no sleep in all honesty.
J: Yeah but i want to sleep so I'll see you when you get to cali soooo Night cheeto.
R: Night jax
I smile at the name cheeto.
You wouldnt Understand its an inside joke.
As i drift of to sleep i think of How my life would be in California...

You see Im 19 years old And this lady of a mother is Xianne Mills. Owner and founder of Billion dollar tech company called X-TECH. Nobody uses Apple anymore since XTECH Became a thing. XTECH Took technology to a WHOLE other level. like those futuristic phones and gadgets you see on TV and in Movies.
And you know what she's saying?
"If you dont stop ruining your image with your playboys ways, im going to cut of all your bank accounts. in in three days i expect you to be married or with a fiance. no buts about it. im going to set up a meeting with Ana zamera and her father. Owner and heiress to Our rival company Z-TECH. Our merge will be good for business"
Never in a million years will I marry a rich snobby stuck up bitch. she's practically a female version of me! Plus shes a gold digger. the more money and power someone has the more attracted they are. and since everyone knows who i am, why that why i have hookups and nothing serious, because nobody wants anything serious. they want me for fame or money.
"Fine Mother but I choose who I choose who i will marry. no more setups" i compromise
"Three days from tomorrow son" she lowly and seriously states.

I head off to my room and think of many ways this can go.
