since it was 12:00 in the morning carina had started to get tired, so we just laid there staring up at the plain cream colored ceiling. her head was resting on my chest, listening to my heartbeat. I slowly kissed her forehead and pulled her closer to my body.
"i love you ash"
"i love you too"
we looked at each other a last time before we closed out eyes listening the the rain pounding on the window in our room. it was quite soothing actually. finally after 10 boring long minutes i had fallen asleep.
