I'm Flying
I'm flying,
The sky
Is high,
Still
Above
My head,
I can see
Clouds
Of every
Kind,
They are
Beautiful.
The breeze
Is slight
And warm
And tickles
My nose
As it brushes
On by.
Spreading my wings
Open and wide,
Letting the wind
Catch them
And I soar,
I soar
Into the
Greatest
Of all heights
Possible
And I love it.
I am flying,
High above any
Cloud there ever was
Or ever could be,
I am happy
As can be
As I've ever been
In my life,
My wings
Slowly flap,
Pushing myself
Higher
And higher
Still,
Yet I cannot
Reach the universe,
But I suppose
I was never
Meant to reach it,
Perhaps
I was meant
To stay below it
And just soar
In the winds
And breathe
The fresh breezes,
I am flying.
