Early in the morning there was banging on the dorm door and then shouting as everyone else in Slytherin gathered in the common room, preparing for breakfast.
"COME ON FIRSTIES, SLYTHERINS TRAVEL TOGETHER, GET UP!" I recognize the voice as Ellen.
Me and Ariana got up and dressed fully, while everyone else was groaning, when an angry third year, Ellen Fell, burst into the room. "I SAID GET UP IF YOU WANT TO TRAVEL WITH US. AND WE WILL LEAVE YOU TO PEEVES IF WE ARE LATE. AND HE WONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MAKING YOUR FIRST DAY HORRIBLE AND BESIDES AREN'T YOU STARVING RIGHT NOW ITS BREAKFAST? I KNOW I SURE AS HELL AM!"
Ellen smirked at us as we passed her. In the common room everyone was yelling and smiling. Across the room I saw Adrian and we walked towards him. He was immersed in a conversation with the boy with blond hair as I remember as Draco. Right behind Adrian, Ariana taps him on the shoulder, he jumps and automatically swings behind him. His fist connected with Ariana's nose, and she doubled over towards me clutching her nose.
From what I could see her nose was bleeding pretty bad. Adrian, shocked from what he did, tries to dismiss it by pulling her towards the door even though she wouldn't move.
I had a rate flashback of my parents, my dad. His black hair tickled my face but I lie soundles in his arms he was reading a book and he spoke with a soft loving voice 'Levis sponda can fix any injury, you'd do good to remember that'.
Just as the warming memory had come it was gone. What did he say? Levis Sponda? That's a spell I guess why not use it?
"Ariana come here I want to try something." I brandished my wand and pulled her face up, "Levis Sponda." Her nose straightened and stopped bleeding, but the blood was still in streams down her face.
She felt her nose then turned to Adrian, and tackled him rolling all over the common room. People were now looking at them and cheering for their favorite twin, although no one could tell which was which. They already looked exactly alike despite their gender but with them rolling around on the floor it was just a big flash of blond hair so bleached their hair looked white.
"EWW NOSE BLOOD, AND ON MY NEW SWEATER."
She laughed maniacally, "YOU SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT NOSY BLOOD GETTING ON YOUR-"
Everyone hushed and the crowd parted to reveal Severus Snape standing scowling at the twins. "Stand up." He snapped.
Both jumped up quickly and stared at Snape scaredly. "Detention today at eight, my room for both of you. What happened to your nose Adrian?" The twins both had the same short haircut and similar body types.
"I'm Ariana, and Adrian accidentally hit me in the nose and it started bleeding, but Jesse fixed it with magic." The twins both had the same short haircut and similar body types.
Severus and pretty much the whole common room looked at me. His eyebrows raised at me and I just shrugged not knowing what to say. What did do wrong. He looked at everyone else, "Well? Get going, all of you!"
I started to make my way to the door when he caught my shoulder. Crap! When the last of the Slytherins left he released my shoulder, "What happened? How did you fix her nose?"
I shrugged again, "I just remembered some words, they made no sense to me so I thought that maybe they were a spell. Levis sponda was the words."
"I have never heard those words spoken by anyone." He had a surprising look of a cold mask. "Well come on it's breakfast."
I nodded and walked ahead he walked right next to me. I thought his hand was on my back but I was afraid to look. He seemed much meaner today than when it was just us a day ago.
We arrived at the Great Hall and we split up, he heading to the teachers table and me towards Ellen and Ariana.
I got bombarded with questions by Ariana right when I sat down, "What was that about? Did you get detention, too? Why did he seem so surprised, it's just a spell."
"Come on, Ariana, let her sit and eat before she has to think." I hadn't noticed Blaine was here, but he was. I looked at him thinking that obviously he wasn't a morning person. His eyes that had been a bright lively blue eyes had darkened and were supporting dark purple bags under them. His face still looked slack from sleep was still as handsome and gaunt as ever.
"Thanks. " I uttered tiredly as I shoved some fried eggs in my mouth.
Breakfast was quiet except for Ariana and Adrian who were blabbering excitedly to each other, about something called Quit ditch, with the occasional "ooh" and "oh yeah!" from Ellen.
After I finished I said, "What's Quit Ditch?"
Ariana turned to me and spoke very fast and excitedly, "Its called Quidditch, Q-u-i-d-d-i-t-c-h. It's a wizard sport and everyone LOVES it. Especially me and Adrian." She went into a full explanation of the game and the players. When she was finished I still didn't understand what it was.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw a billowing black cloak. Snape was heading straight for me.
"Here, Jesse this is your schedule. Potions first, at ten, see you then." He turned and continued to hand out schedules.
My schedule read,

"Our schedules are the same!" Ariana spoke excitedly. "We should get going don't want to be late. Blaine, Ellen, are you lot coming?"

"Oh, well Blaine?"
"Sure."
"Shall we go then?"
We all stood up and made our way out the door. In the hall we were alone except for a few Gryffindors standing around chatting quietly. We walked silently to the dungeons when Adrian smacked himself in the face and whispered in Ariana's ear. She laughed then turned to us, "Adrian forgot his potions book see we'll be back in a few."
The door was closed to the potions room but whenever I was in muggle school we always just went in, so why not?
I put my finger tips to the door and it swung open a bit. "Jesse, I don't think we are supposed to go in yet." Blaine said.
But I had already gone in and something caught my eye in the empty room. On Snape's neat ordered desk was an out of place white document type thing. I moved a little closer, and I could just make out the words in the dark room.

The paper made the point clear. I knew it. I knew I was her. I knew right when Snape told me he had a daughter that looked just like him, that I was his daughter.
"Miss Snape, when the Professor is not here you will wait for them outside their classroom." I jumped and spun around, standing in the door was a very tall man who I barely recognized as Snape.
"Professer Snape?" My voice shook a little.
"I said out!" His cold voice stayed the same, dangerously. "And detention tonight at 8."
I swallowed going out the door slowly. Blaine's tired face was now alight with worry and fear of Snape, as he looked at me with wide eyes. Snape disappeared back through his closed classroom door.
"I told you not to go in there..." He whispered after a minute. Thanks Blaine for pointing out my poor judgment
I had been thinking about the document and he interrupted them, I turned to him, "Blaine, do you know what I saw on his desk?" He shook his head, "a birth certificate."
"...s-"
"My birth certificate."
He had no look of surprise at all and again silence over came us for a few minutes. "Well, you can't be that surprised. I mean you lived in an orphanage with no idea of who your parents were, your last name is Snape, a very uncommon name, you knew Snape had a daughter that looked just like him, and you look just like him. The evidence was so overwhelming that I don't know how you didn't know."
"He said she died."
"Maybe he was lying."
"I don't know."
By now everyone else was here and the door opened again. "Come in." He seemed to be yet again in a bad mood.
In the room I shared a table with Adrian on my right and Ariana on my left. Blaine had gone to sit with someone called Blaise, which no one minded that much.
"The instructions are on the board get started." With a wave of his wand words appeared on the board.
Dragon skin? Lace wings? What are those? I raised my hand intending to ask those very questions as he strolled over to me.
"You wouldn't know what those are." He waved his wand and on the table appeared bottles and jars of ingredients, and a small rounded container. "This is a cauldron, and these are dragon skin, lace wings..." He labeled each jar and bottle. "I want a paper with drawings, and a brief description of what each do to a potion by Friday."
I nodded, adding lace wings to a orange looking potion. It bubbled as I added more ingredients and stirred it clockwise.
At the end of class I bottled up a sample of the potion and handed it in as we were told. As I set the bottle down on his desk he looked at it and nodded. I smiled at him which he did not return but said, "Don't be late to detention tonight."
The smile slipped from my face and I nodded looking at the floor as I walked out. Ariana had been right behind me the whole time and when we had got in the hallway she shouted giddily, "You didn't tell me you got detention tonight, too. That's great! I mean, no it isn't, but at least me and Adrian won't be alone!"
Adrian had caught up and now walked on the other side of me. "Yeah! I wouldn't want to keep the fun of what's gonna happen to ourselves, you know, better to have a witness there. And two Gryffindors got in trouble last night so they'll be there, too."
Every class was okay, nothing really eventful happened, it's now 7:45. Ariana and Adrian have already gone down to Snape's classroom but I decided to stay behind for a bit but I won't be late, because I'm already outside his door.
I don't want to go in. But I have no choice.
I knocked on the door, heard a faint 'enter' and pushed open the door. At the blackboard stood Adrian and a red-headed boy I suppose from Gryffindor. Ariana was no where to be seen.
"Jesse, you can go organize the cabinet with Weasley, and Peterson." Snape said not looking at me.
I nodded and went through an open door with candles lit inside it. Inside was huge cupboards lining every wall. On a ladder was Ariana and a boy who looked exactly the same as the other with Adrain at the blackboard. He tossed me a bottle that was labled, Arsenate. I found the cabinet with the appropriate labels and placed it carefully in there.
After two minutes with that I heard a soft explosion outside, in the classroom. Immediately following, a yelling Snape and giggles from Ariana. Everyone in the cupboard stopped and peeked outside.
A brown pudding substance covered the floor and even more thoroughly on Snape and the others. It also smelled really bad, like dung. Eww. Snape yelled, "Out!"
Everyone piled out and started running for the common room. When we got there we all burst out laughing.
