-Matthews p.o.v.--the next morning 8:56 a.m.-
I had my head in my hands as I shook my right knee rapidly becoming impatient. Tia has been in and out of surgery all night since the wreck. No one has been able to go see her yet.
"Matthew, she'll be okay. She's a strong girl" Sophie said softly. I sniffed dropping my hands from my head looking to the floor.
"Yea, I guess" I mumbled. Tia's mother was awake and alert hours ago. She only had a cut on her forehead, a few bruises, and some bruised ribs. She was released an hour ago.
"Tia Lockhart?" The doctor called out and everyone stood up. My brother, sister, father, Tia's father and mother (once she got released) haven't left the hospital since the car accident.
"Is she okay?" We all asked at the same time.
"Yes, but she's in critical condition right now. She's awake now, you guys may go in and see her now" he said and lead us to her room. When we got in there she was laying down looking really tired.
"Hey" I said softly going to her bedside and holding her hand.
"Hey" she whispered. She looked to everyone in the room and smiled.
"Mom your okay" she said softly and smiled at her mother.
"Oh sweetie, of course I'm okay. Its you I'm worried about" her mother said and Tia smiled weakly at her.
"I'll be okay" she said.
"I missed my own graduation, how was it?" She asked looking to Sophie and Asher.
"We didn't stay, we left as soon as we heard about the accident. We've been here all night" Sophie explained gently putting her hand on Tia's shoulder.
"I'm sorry. You should of stayed, I would of been alright" Tia said and Sophie shook her head no.
"Tia, we saw the accident, it was really bad. The nurses and doctors couldn't believe that you came in awake and alert, they said you should of died on impact, of course we would of left, your my best friend Tia I can't lose you" Sophie said holding back tears.
"Soph, I'm okay really" she said and smiled to Sophie.
"Oh, and mom I never got to answer your question" Tia said as her mother leaned down rubbing her forehead and kissed her temple as she quietly cried.
"And what is that sweetie?" Her mom asked.
"Matthew is my mate" she said slowly. Her mom, dad, my dad and brother looked at me shocked.
"What?" I asked.
"I'm so happy for you two" her mom said.
"Thanks" Tia and I both mumbled.
"Hey, mom can you get me some water? I feel-" Tia cut herself off as her eyes rolled to the back of her head. Her back slightly arched as she started shaking uncontrollably.
"Tia!" I said loudly. The door flung open as the doctor and nurses ran inside. We moved out of the way as we watched in horror.
"Her heart rate is increasing" a nurse said quickly.
"Whats going on?" I asked.
"Her blood pressure is rising quickly" a nurse said and they kept rushing around till the nurse handed the doctor a needle with a clear liquid inside the tube. The doctor injected it in her arm and she slowly stopped shaking.
"Tia! Can you hear me?" The doctor asked loudly. Tia's eyes slowly shut as he tried to keep her awake.
"Her oxygen level is 65% and dropping dangerously" a nurse said. The doctor then started to look for a pulse.
"She has a pulse but its very weak, what's her oxygen level?" The doctor asked.
"That can't be right" I heard a nurse mumble.
"Sarah, what's her oxygen level?" The doctor repeated.
"Um, 34% and still dropping" she said.
"I'm sorry but your gonna have to leave and wait in the waiting room" a nurse said. We slowly walked out of the room into the hall and she closed the door.
