Dean Stared at me with his concerned face. "What! Why am I in the hospital? Where is my mother?!" I yelled hopping out of my bed.
"Karter!! Calm down your mom is talking to the doctors. But you have to lay back down and get some rest! You nearly almost ripped the IV out!" Dean said trying to calm me down.
"Oh Karter your awake!!" My mother yelled running to me. She hugged me close, as if she never wanted to let go.
"I have to talk to Karter alone please" my mother said holding her tears back. Dean hugged me and walked out of the room.
"What happened to me mom?"
"Karter, this isn't easy to say but....
my mothers voice trailed off due to the fact tears were spilling from her eyes. I also began to cry. I had no idea what she was crying for but I knew it was bad.
"Karter when you were younger.."
"When I was younger what?!!" I asked in suspense.
"Do you remember my ex Mike?"
"Of course not I was only like 4 or 5.. What about it?"
"I'm so sorry... I had no idea! I love you and I didn't know" My mother, Who was crying a river holding my hand tightly held a yellow paper in her hand.
"Take it!" She cried loud.
I grabbed the paper and began to read. Seconds Later I felt my heart drop. "NO, NO, NOOOOO!!! THIS IS NOT THE TRUTH RIGHT???" I yelled, hand covering my mouth.
My mother grabbed me tight. I cried loudly in her arms.
"I'm so sorry! I swear I didn't know I swear" my mother whispers in my ear.
"AIDS?????! HE TOUCHED ME WHILE YOU WERE AWAY??? NOW I HAVE THIS, MOM PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS A JOKE PLEASEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I yelled in anger!
"I wish I could! I'm so sorry!! It's all my fault!" My mother let go of me walking towards the window.
I closed my eyes. I than looked over at my mother. Who knows what she's going through, of course it's not her fault. "Mom it's not your fault you shouldn't think like that I know you would never hurt me" I walked toward her.
"I got here as soon as Dean texted what's up is everything Ok?! Did somebody do this to you tell me quick!" Chloe said running in the room with a bat in her hands.
Me and my mother both giggled.
"Uhhhh, it's nothing I just fell down the stairs and I passed out" I said.
Ohhhh Karter what are you doing lying to you Bestfriend!!! I never did this before. But I couldn't tell her. At least not right now. I thought to myself as Chloe and my mother stared at me. I smiled and say down.
"I'm going to talk to the doctors." my mother said walking out the room.
Chloe sat next to me. "So are you gonna tell me the real reason your in here?"
I looked up "What do you mean?"
"Come on I'm your best friend I know when you not telling the truth." Chloe looked up at me.
"I don't know what your talking about I'm fine it was just a small concussion." I said getting up.
"Well ok. So do you think your gonna be in school tomorrow? please don't leave me alone with Dean he'll literally need me to death." Chloe whined.
I turned to look at her. "I don't know maybe" I said cocking my head to the side
