Chapter 15
LOGAN'S POV
"Hey Katelyn! How are you feeling?" I asked Katelyn, gingerly walking into the ward, Niall has left just minutes before me and I decided to pull out my tricks up my sleeves now.
Katelyn put down her phone which she has been engrossed in and looked up at me. Her eyes widen and a wide smile spread through her face. Her whole face brighten up and there was a glistening sparkle in her eye.
She rushed off the bed, threw her phone onto the bed sheet and ran towards me, jumping on me wrapping her arm round my neck and her legs round my legs.
"Logan! What are you doing here? Oh my god I haven't seen you for such a long time! Nearly 2 years! Wow! Aww you still smell the same, you still smell like the breezy leaves in autumn! Oh god, I've missed you!" Katelyn exclaimed loudly and excitedly.
"I'm here for a movie, Katelyn. I've missed you loads too! You still smell the same too! Like fresh strawberries!" I replied, sniffing.
Katelyn awkwardly wiggled herself off me and gazed into my eyes. I gazed into her dark brown eyes and smiled. Katelyn in turn smiled too, and I'm sure I looked like I couldn't be any happier.
"Okay, I'm going to use the washroom for a while, wait here for me then later can you take me for a walk in the garden, please?" Katelyn said in the sweetest tone ever, her voice dripping with honey.
"Of course I will, Kate."
And off she went into the bathroom. Silly girl, just been admitted for 2 days and already jumping around like a little kid.
I sat down on Katelyn's bed and glanced down at her phone. She seemed to be on Twitter. I shouted out, "Katelyn, do you mind if I use your phone?"
Katelyn shouted back, "Sure! No problem!"
I grabbed the phone and scrolled through her tweets. Typical Katelyn, always pleasing others and always replying to fans. I checked out the top stories of the day to see what everyone was buzzing about and something caught my eye...

What the hell? That cheating scum! This is actually perfect! If Katelyn sees this, she'll never trust Niall again. Probably she'll cry and I'll comfort her and she will realise how right I am for her. I heard her flushing the toilet and washing her hands.
I clicked the lock button so when Katelyn unlocks her phone, the first things she sees will be the big headings and see the pictures.
And I don't even have to lift a finger and just sit back and wait for Katelyn and Niall to break up.

"I'm hungry! I need food or I'm going to die of starvation!" Katelyn whined for the seventh time.
Surprisingly she has not checked her phone at all in the past one hour, weird, that's a record for her.
"Take me out to buy food. Pleaseeee!" Katelyn did the puppy dog eyes.
She knows I can't stand them, everything seemed perfect and peaceful and all I want to do is to be in her arms and please her.
I held her small, delicate hand in my big, rough and hand and smiled, "F-ine! Let's go then! Bring your phone along!"
Katelyn smiled and grabbed me into a hug, "Thanks Logan, you're the best...
friend
I can ever have!"
A friend huh? Friend-zoned. Just a friend. Nothing more. How pathetic.
"You too, Katelyn. You too."

I took her to the garden at the hospital and held her hand the whole time while walking on the stone tiles. The Sun was beating heavily down on us, birds were chirping, trees were swaying, Katelyn's long hair is flying about everywhere and my gelled hair stayed perfectly in place.
"It's really nice of you to take me here, Logan. Thank you." Katelyn smiled, brightening up the world place.
"You're welcome." I smiled back, sitting down on the park bench, I took out my phone hoping that Katelyn will get the message and do so too.
I was right, Katelyn followed suit and unlocked her phone. I waited for her reaction when she sees the giant prints, her eyes widened, the whites around her eyes were clearly visible, she drew the phone closer to her face, her mouth shaped into a perfect 'O', she shook her head, mumbling something.
"It's not possible, no, no, no! It's not true, Niall, he... would not do this to me, he wouldn't, he can't!"
Katelyn trembled and screamed, she shook her head continuously like she was in a charm, she looked dazed and slowly she stopped.
She stopped what she was doing, stop whimpering, stop screaming and just broke down and cried. Hearing her voice cringing as her heart broke and slowly died pained me, but her not being with me pained me even more. I put a hand around Katelyn's shoulder and pulled her closer to me. She cried into my shirt, tears running down her face, I petted her back, offered her tissues to wipe away her snot. She started hiccuping, something she does everytime she cries. Katelyn started shaking and shaking and her cries got louder and louder. We sat in that position for about an hour, her crying and snuggling into my shirt. Me wrapping my arms around her, leaning my head on her shoulder.
I moved out of the snuggle and looked at Katelyn in her eyes.
"Everything's going to be alright. I swear. I'll take care of you. It will all work out in the end. I promise."
And that was when I leaned down and planted a kiss on Katelyn's lips.
And it just happened that Niall was standing right behind then, watching Katelyn and Logan kiss.

IM SO SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING SOONER IM A TERRIBLE PERSON I HAD EXAMS AND AFTER THAT I HAD WRITERS' BLOCK AND I DIDN'T UPDATE THE STORY YOU CAN HATE ME NOW EVEN I HATE MYSELF IM SO SO SORRY
I'll try and get the next chapter done by next week!! I'll TRY my hardest. And you guys didn't reach the quota again. :(
