"Finally, we are here. Geez, you are heavy! Consider going on a diet?!” Micah squealed. Yes, he squealed. Good at it since he was six.
I winced as I hit the last step on the field. “You didn’t have to drag me for two minutes that I could’ve walked myself,” I said in annoyance.
He grinned, “But you are an injured person who can’t walk two feet!”
“That’s all I need to beat you!” I threw a punch, aimed at his gut, but he immediately dodged it. I fell on the ground. Micah started laughing like a psycho.
“Let’s go through the school,” I said.
“Wait, what? That is a little off topic!” Micah said, clearly surprised. “I thought you wanted to walk on the field!”
“Why not? YOU A SCAREDY CAT?” I said ominously.
“But...that place is haunted! The ghosts! Eeeeeee!” he started squealing again.
“There are no such thing as ghosts, and I will rest your suspicions you’ve had since you watched your first horror movie,” I said.
