It's amazing how one thing can change your whole day. Be it at the very beginning or near the end.

The effect is so strong you don't have the strength to put it past you.

The fact that it hurt you and hit home outweighs the possibility you may let it go

What hurts the most? That person won't know.

They won't know what you're going through or how you're taking it.

Would they even care?

Would they even stop to think how you're taking it?

They may think it's just strawberries and roses, but to you it's that much more.

Every time you think of that sentence, word, or action-or the lack thereof-you feel that pain you felt the day it happened.

Breaking down in tears.

You're wondering why you feel that way just from the memory.

You fall into a state of depression.

You fall into a state of keeping to oneself.

You fall into a state where nothing matters anymore.

All you're thinking about now is a way to figure out if you can make it through yet another day.

Day by day you ponder on the thought of why you're still physically present.

Surprised you haven't done something to act out your true feelings.

Yet again, would anyone really care?

You ask that same question time after time.

Time after time it proves no one does.

No one cares. No one cares about anyone but themselves.

They are all selfishly complaining and whining to you on how they got it bad.

You're in front of them and they don't even see.

So, selfishly, you plan your own death.

One day, one of these days, you will finally have had enough and follow through with that plan.

You'll see if they care then.

You'll see if they had an ounce of love for you when they're looking down at you in you're deathbed.
