Vineet was sure now Anoop would not be helpful so he decided to talk to Vikrant about it. He met Vikrant and indirectly tried to make him back off from the investment but he was more intelligent and strictly denied taking Anoop's name.
Vineet was now sure, he is here with a motive. He informed Ruhana and she decided to meet him and get rid of him..
"Tum akeli nhi jaogi I will come along" Vineet said.
Ruhana agreed as he is her husband and no secrets should be kept. He had all the rights to know everything.
Vineet took her to Vikrant's house where Ruhana confronted him "kyun aaye ho tum wapas??" she shouted.
"Ruhana.. Mujhe tumse koi matlab nahi hai main toh bas business karne aaya hun" he replied being innocent..
"Please Vikrant door raho mere pati se meri betiyon se meri zindagi se" she shouted at him giving him a warning.
"Sorry.. Business is business" he said with a smirk.
Ruhana sighed "Vikrant.." she called his name with much anger..
"Ye mera ghar hai Ruhana.. Don't shout" he eyed her..
"Chalo Ruhana.. Ye kuch karna bhi chahe na toh kuch nahi kar sakta hai" Vineet assured her. Ruhana nodded and left.
"Mujhe jo karna hai wo toh main karunga hi" he whispered..
Shergill Villa
Ruhana and Vineet returned home, she saw Manvi sitting on the couch and watching a movie. She laughed.. "Kitni funny movie hai.."
Vineet kept his hand on her shoulder and said "fikar mat karo Ruhana.. Jabtak main hun kuch nahi hoga"
Ruhana eyed towards him and smiled..
Manvi stood up and jumped on her toes and next moment she shouted "uhh..uhh.." she sat down again holding her feet..
Ruhana went to her and scolded her "dhyan toh hai nahi.. Chot lagi hai phir bhi masti karni hai tumhe.."
Manvi made faces "mannu bore ho rahi thi na.. Avni bhi school mein hai" she replied
"Wo aa jayegi lunch kiya tumne?" Ruhana asked.
"Haa.. choti dadi ne khilaya" Manvi replied
"Good girl.. Ab room mein jaake so jao thodi der" Ruhana instructed.
Manvi nodded, she opened her arms demanding to lift in arms. Ruhana sighed at her act, she picked her up and took her into the room. She tried to make her sleep but she was blabbering.
"Ye movies dekhna band karo tum.. Bakwas karti rehti ho" Ruhana said..
Manvi giggled and closed her eyes. Soonish, she slept and Ruhana tried to leave but stopped. She turned and saw her manvi holding her saree pallu corner. It seemed she did not want her to leave, and since she returned home she was having a bad feeling. She slowly removed the pallu from her fingers and left the room.
Avni returned home, she called "mumma"
Ruhana smiled seeing her.. Avni showed her report card "Dekho Avni ko A+ mila"
"Are waah.. Aur manvi ka report card?" Ruhana asked..
"Mannu ko A mila hai par maths mein usko B mila hai" Avni replied showing her report card too.
Ruhana sighed... "jaane iska maths kab sudhrega"
"Sudhar jayega mumma.. Avni hai na usko seekha degi" Avni said with a smile.
Ruhana ruffled her hairs.. "Mera bacha.. Jao change karlo"
Avni agreed and went into the room to change. Ruhana heard a loud noise and she rushed to the kids room.
She saw Avni lying on the floor, she picked her up and asked "kya hua giri kaise tum?"
She pointed towards Manvi. She saw her kicking the bed and moving her arms and blabbering "nahi jaana..... Chodo"
It seems she is seeing a bad dream. Ruhana went to her and tried to break her sleep "mannu mannu.."
She woke up with a jerk and hugged Ruhana tightly "mumma mumma..."
"Kya hua bacha??" she asked..
"Mannu ne dekha ki koi mannu ko leke jaa raha hai aapse door" the girl said being scared..
Ruhana calmed her down "nahi nahi.. Bas wo sapna tha kuch nahi main kahi nahi jaane dungi tumhe"
She rubbed her back to calm her down, Manvi was now normal. She looked up at her, Ruhana asked "Thik ho??"
Manvi nodded...
"Agar ye dream sach hua toh?" Manvi asked
"Nahi kabhi sach nhi hoga.. Bhala main tumhe khudse door kar sakti hun kabhi?" she asked with a smile..
"Promise?"
Ruhana nodded "pakka promise"
Manvi then eyed Avni and apologised as she kicked her in the dream.
"Koi nahi Manvi.." Avni replied with a smile..
Ruhana was worried about her dream, but then let it go as it was just a dream. No one has guts to snatch her daughter from her.
It has been a month, Vikrant had not interfered in her personal life; he was just doing business. Ruhana was not satisfied with this as suddenly he returned that too after her wedding with Vineet. Why did he only choose Shergill enterprises in the whole city? This might be only coincidence. She let go off her thoughts and continued leading a happy life with everyone.
But her happiness did not last for long, when one day Vikrant visited home. Luckily, Manvi and Avni had gone on a school trip and the elders were attending a business party.
She was shocked seeing Vikrant entering the house. He passed her a mysterious look.
She asked in a low but anger tone "kyun aaye ho yahan? Kaunsa business karna hai tumhe is ghar mein?" as he was here in absence of anyone.
Vikrant said sarcastically "bahut acha insan hun na main.. Toh ek acha kaam karne aaya hun"
Ruhana eyed him, he moved closer to her; they were just a few inches away from each other. Vineet pushed him back and stood in front of Ruhana..
He cautioned "door se baat karo biwi hai meri aur mujhe pasand nahi koi gair uske kareeb aaye"
"Agree.. Toh jo mera hai wo mujhe de do.. Main yahan se chala jaunga" he said..
Vineet and Ruhana exchanged glances. Ruhana then replied "tumhara yahan kuch nahi hai.."
"Hai na.. Meri beti Manvi" he rebuked..
RuVi were left stunned and dumbstruck hearing him.
Ruhana panicked hearing him, she slapped on his face hardly and shouted "kya bakwas hai ye? Manvi tumhe de dun main? Are tum jo chodke chale gaye jab main pregnant thi.. Court ke chakkar kaate hai maine pregnancy mein tumse divorce lene ke liye aaj tum chale aaye ho use lene"
Vikrant glanced at her and replied.. "Dekho Ruhana mujhe tumse koi matlab nahi hai mujhe bas Manvi de do"
"Nahi dungi kabhi nahi dungi.. Koi rishta nahi hai tumhara usse samjhe tum" she said in a firm tone.
Vineet eyed Vikrant and said "get lost from my house Manvi nahi milegi tumhe"
He smirked.. "Use toh main leke hi rahunga.."
"Vik.." Vineet paused when he saw his mother standing at the door with Anoop and Pooja.
Vikrant turned and thought "dhamaka toh ho gaya.." he left the house with a smile on his face as he was aware Ruhana and Vineet had hidden the truth about divorce and this will now work in his favour.
He left the house, Anoop Gautami and Pooja commenced towards Ruhana and Vineet.
They exchanged glances with each other. Gautami eyed Vineet and she questioned something. He had no other choice and faced reality. He nodded in yes and in return she slapped him leaving Ruhana stunned..
