"JAYY," I groaned. "I'm TIRED!!"
"I know honey, I am too." he stretched and closed his eyes.
I leaned up against him, closing my eyes too.
We got everything planned. We have our colors picked out, we have the flowers and everything. Now all we have to do is wait until we feel like it's time.
I heard his breathing slow down. Awh he's falling asleep. How cute!!
I listened to the steady rhythm of his breathing for a while before I decided to sleep too. I laid down and pulled him with me. He instantly curled up next to me. I grabbed the blanket from the back of the couch and draped it over us.
I closed my eyes again and pictured the magical day that was sure to come soon.

Jayy and I woke up about three hours later, once the sun was already down.
"Well," he yawned. "I'm still tired."
"Me too." I still had my arms around him.
"Let's eat something before we go to bed. I'm starving," he suggested.
"Good idea!" I kissed the top of his head. "What should we have?"
"Hmmm...i kinda want pasta."
"Me too," I laughed. "I'll make some fettuccini."
"I'll help!!" He loves helping me cook. Especially when it's Italian food.
We both got up and went into the kitchen.
"Jayy, can you make the sauce?"
"I don't know if I can," his face turned red.
"Do you remember what I showed you?" I tilted my head to the side and smiled.
"Yeah, but...I've never made it my myself."
"You'll do great!" I urged. "If you need help I'll be right here."
"Okay," he bit his lip. "I'll try."
After about twenty minutes, we were finished cooking.
"Holy mother of all things holy," I laughed. "This is amazing!!! Jayy, you shouldn't have doubted yourself."
His face turned red again. "Really?"
"Yes! It's the best I've ever had!!"
He smiled. "Thanks. I learned from the best."
This time, my face turned red. "Awh."
He yawned. "Well, if we're finished here, I'd like to go to bed."
"Me too," I stood up. "Let's go."
He took the dishes to the sink and followed me up the stairs.
Once inside my room, we stripped down to our boxers and crawled under the comforter.
He touched my neck with ice cold hands. "Are my hands cold?"
"OHMYGOD GET YOUR ICY FINGERS OFF ME." I responded.
He giggled and removed his hands, only to wrap his arms around my waist.
"I love you Dahvs," he whispered. His lips were inches away from my ear.
"I love you, too, Jayy."
He kissed my neck a few times before laying his head on my shoulder.
I closed my eyes when I heard soft snores beside me.
