i walked slowly through the school hallway on my way to lunch.. it was taco tuesday, and i wasnt all that excited about it. believe me i love school (joke) (comedy laughter) but the mush that's labeled as a "taco" isn't very appealing.
i met up with ashton and set my plate of mush on the marble lunch table. it was pretty crowded if you consider two boys and six empty seats to be a crowd. i stared at my plate, not sure if i was supposed to eat it or if it was supposed to eat me.
"what's that smell?" ashton finally spoke after a few minutes of silence.
"you mean the smell of a dead ape thats been rotting in the middle of the jungle for 3-4 days? i'm pretty sure thats the tacos dude," i said.
"no not that...the smell...beyond that. it smells like.....pizza?"
we looked around the cafeteria, hunting for the source of the scent.. and there it was. a group of people were crowded around a box laughing together at something the boy holding the box had said. the pizza looked heavenly compared to the mush sitting on our table. well, it looked heavenly until i averted my eyes from the pizza and saw who was holding it.
him. now when i say him i don't mean him as in "the love of my life him", i say him because i dont even want to think his name. but since you probably have no clue who im talking about, i guess ill tell you.
luke hemmings. the popular, oh so charming luke hemmings. we've hated each other for a couple of years now, and no one knows why. except for him and me.
actually, no one knows why except him. i only hate him because he's an asshole to me.
