After having Husk admit his crush on Al, Husk chugs the rest of his booze and decides turn in for the day, and goes upstairs to a room that is a good distance away from the meat room to prevent any possible attempted escapees screams to reach Husk (conveniently). She now takes it up upon herself to give the same revelation Husk had to Alastor, she goes to the meat preparation room and kicks open the door,
"AL, HOLY FUCK!" She yells while closing the door
"Dear, you never swear, I am now concerned."
"Quick question, do you have any love interests?"
"... Odd question, may I ask another one before I answer?"
"Shoot."
"Why do you feel the need to ask me this?"
"Cause I saw something and I want to see if i'm right about it."
"Ok, fine then I do have someone I take interest in."
"Is it Husk?"
Alastor's face flushed instantaneously,
"M-Maybe, what gave you the suspicion?"
"I saw you hugging Husk and you blushing after."
"Is there any more sufficient evidence to back up your claim?"
"Yep!"
Niffty quickly pulls out her phone out of her pocket, and like the fastest draw in the west snaps a photo of Al's burning face, she spins her phone on her finger and catches the phone to show's the picture of Alastor,
"Was the phone play really necessary?"
"Yee Haw."
Alastor looks at the phone and sees a photo of him that shows he is clearly flustered. Realizing he's incapable of any way to dodge the question any longer, he asks Niffty another question,
"Niffty, can I entrust you with this information?"
"Yes."
"Can I though?"
"Well, what do you want me to do then?"
"Promise me. Promise me not to udder a singular word to Husker, or anyone else, please."
"Why not?"
"Just do it."
"... I won't tell Husk."
"Thank you dear."
"... Well aren't you gonna say it?"
"Say what?"
"What you like about him?"
"Uhm, the details are rather... embarrassing to say the least..." A drop of sweat drips from Alastor
"Al, you know i'm not just here for you to admit your eternal love for Husk."
"I wouldn't say 'eternal' Niffty, i'd say... " Alastor mumbles quietly but Niffty heard it, "A few millennia..."
Niffty squeals in excitement
"Anyways why are you so excited about this?"
"Al, you two are adorable, why wouldn't I want to ship you together?"
"Apologies but, I am highly behind on todays times, what does it mean to ship?"
"I want you to kiss, hug, cuddle, and all that couple stuff... probably a little sex..." she mumbles the last part
"I'd probably enjoy a little sex from Husker too..." Al blurts out
Niffty's eye lights up, clearly hearing Alastor, Al however didn't realize the words that have come out of his mouth,
"Um, Niffty, why are you staring at me like that?" Alastor smiles nervously
"Al, holy heck, you love him that much?!"
"What are you talking abou-" Al realize what he had said, "You shall never speak of this again!"
"Only to you, not to anyone else, but I will remind you from time to time~"
"From time to time, I regret passing on my sadistic tendencies to you..."
"But you passed them on anyways!"
"Yes, I have..."
"You still didn't answer my question."
"That I have have not."
"Well are you gonna?"
"If it shall get you to leave sooner, yes."
"Then answer."
Alastor's face is so hot you could almost cook an egg on his forehead,
"Ok, just gonna shoot this out as fast I could..."
Alastor takes a deep breath, "He's cute, adorable, and hot at the same time! He's so nice to the point where I don't even know how he got into hell in the first place! He keeps helping me regardless of how much irritation I caused him, countless times! And there's this thing he does when he get's home drunk and walks up to me and flops down on my lap and DEMANDS that I pet him, and my heart melts into a puddle!" Alastor breathes, "There I said it, happy now?"
"Yep!"
"Good, now go to your-"
"Final question!"
"UUUUUUUGH!" Alastor yells into his hands, reduced to a blushing mess
"When did you realize your 'few millennia' love for Husk?"
"In hindsight, i'd say... when I first laid eyes on him."
More adorable squealing and bouncing from Niffty
"There's your answer, now may you stop pestering me please."
"Gimme more details Alastor! That ain't enough!"
"Next time you have a crush on someone, I shall do the same to you, -sigh- ok, so, you already know the story of how me and Husker met right?"
"Yes, I cried."
"Well, I already been rather enamored by him when we had met, but I merely played it off with the simple excuse of 'admiration' of how fearless and brave he was, where in reality I was concerned and desired to help Husker."
"Aw, you care about him!"
"Had I not made that clear from the start? Anyways, to prevent being sidetracked, I only came to the realization that I was smitten through Husker is when, well, that time I became sick..."
"Yeah, Husk stayed and took care of- OH MY GOD I SEE WHERE THIS IS GOING!"
"Hush you, and let me tell the story and get this over with! You see, Husk staying behind, I was obscenely happy, I didn't necessarily know why exactly, but I was. During the time of me in his care, it felt rather... domestic to say the least, like, we were a couple at the time, he cooked for me, checked if I was feeling better or worse, checked my temperature, it was wonderful. I didn't realize my feelings for him until, something... heartwarming happened..."
"What happened?"
"At some point I was extremely cold, I was shivering intensely, Husk came through the door and asked if i'm fine, and I just asked for more blankets, his response was 'nah too lazy' and I looked at him irritated as I tried to calm my shivering, till Husk just went into the blanket and hugged me in order to keep me warm, and, when I saw closely at his face, I came to the revelation that I loved him, I've always had."
"Al that was the cutest thing I have ever heard in my entire afterlife."
"Well that's all the cute I may give you ever."
