Danni spent the whole night cleaning up the mess that she got tired and fell asleep leaning her head on the kitchen table. The next day, both Danni and Avery were still sleeping and it was 8:00 AM. Danni's head was on the table with her hands extended on it and Avery was sleeping on her comfortable bed. The kitchen back door opened and came in Chloe with papers in her hands, she saw Danni sleeping with her head on the table, so she went to her hearing her snoring softly. She shook her off gently trying to wake her up.
"Danni" she said as she shook her. "Danni!" She snapped her fingers near her ear and Danni jerked awake.
"What?!" she said and Chloe chuckled behind her and Danni turned her head rubbing her eyes from the tiredness. "Hey!... What are you doing here?"
"I came to deliver some papers but then I saw you sleeping here"
"Uh-huh" She yawned and closed her eyes again giving up to sleep.
"Danni!" She raised her voice and Danni woke up again.
"Sorry... I cleaned up all night"
"You spent all night here?" She frowned.
"I had to... The house was a mess and somebody had to clean it up"
"But that's not your job"
"Well, I kinda did it eventually" She stood up stretching. "I have to continue... I haven't finished yet"
"Oh, no you aren't" She pushed her lightly to the chair. "Sit down"
"Okay?"
"You need some rest, I'll deliver these papers to Meredith's study and come back to make you a cup of coffee... go wash your face"
"Mm-hmm" She nodded. "Yes sir... I mean ma'am"
Chloe chuckled and left to drop the papers on Meredith's desk and Danni went to wash her face. She passed by Avery's room and found her still sleeping like an angel with her hair falling on the pillow beside her. She went to the kitchen, washed her face and grabbed a pill and a glass of water for Avery's for her hangover and put them beside her on the nightstand then took her leave.
Danni went downstairs to the kitchen and found Chloe making her the promised coffee. She leaned on the door frame watching her.
"Thank you" she said.
Chloe turned her head and smiled. "Anytime"
She motioned for her to sit and she obliged. Chloe handed her the coffee and Danni took a sip from it and closed her eyes enjoying the taste.
"So, why were you here last night?"
"You can say that I crashed yesterday's party and cleaned the owner's mess"
She sighed. "But it's not your job to clean all the mess by yourself"
"Trust me, I know that"
She took another sip and rubbed her neck, groaning from the pain and Chloe took the hint so she stood up and went behind Danni and started massaging her softly and Danni leaned into her touch and closed her eyes.
"God, you are so tense" said Chloe as she was massaging her.
"You have no idea" She sighed heavily.
"You have so many knots but it's fine I can fix you"
"Yeah? Good because I really need this"
Chloe's hands moved from massaging her back to her shoulder, to the back of her neck then landed on Danni's hair stroking it gently and Danni felt like she was in heaven.
"Chloe?"
"Yeah?" she said softly.
"If you keep this, I'm gonna sleep and this time I won't wake up"
She laughed softly then stopped and returned back to her seat.
"I don't know what else to say except thank you"
"You don't need to thank me" She smiled at her and held her hand.

Avery woke up groaning from her pounding head and covered her face from the sun rays and turned to the other side of the bed, feeling a terrible headache. She found a glass of water and a pill, so she sat properly on the bed and took the pill.
Realizing she was wearing a dress, she took it off and headed to take a shower, a cold one to wake her up from her hangover then headed downstairs feeling hungry.
She was walking slowly and even slowed down her pace when she heard two people talking. She hid in the corner and set her eyes on Danni and a girl.
"I don't know what else to say except thank you"
"You don't need to thank me"
And the unexpected happened, the girl held Danni's hand and rubbed her thumb over her hand and Danni's eyes darted from her eyes to the hand holding hers and what Avery sure she saw was that the girl was leaning closer to Danni and so was Danni. Before anything could happen, Avery entered the kitchen pretended to yawn and stretch her hands. On the cue of that they pulled away before anything could happen and looked away.
"Oh! Sorry, did I interrupt something?" she asked.
"No" said Danni as she stood up to wash the cups.
"Okay, I'm leaving" said Chloe.
"Now?" asked Danni. "But it's still early"
"I know" She chuckled. "My dad and Abigail are soon gonna be here and I have to go to work anyway so..."
"Okay then... Thanks once again"
"You are welcome. Don't forget to have some rest"
Chloe smiled and gave her a kiss on her cheek and lingered there for a moment before she left. Avery was standing with her arms crossed defensively and Danni looked at her.
"Make me a breakfast" She ordered.
"You are gonna have to make it yourself, I'm leaving"
"Uh, you work here remember?"
"I think that the only one who needs to refresh their memory is you. Just remember what you were about to do last night"
She left the kitchen and headed for the door, she opened it and found April stepping out of her car.
"Hey" She smiled.
"Hey, you" said Danni.
"What are you doing here? Don't you like work here at night?"
"I do but I stayed all night cleaning up your friend's mess"
"Is she there?" she asked as her face turned sternly.
"Yes she is and she is hungry... so please make her the breakfast. I need some rest from all this"
"Sure... and I need to talk to her about her 'late attitude'"
"Okay. See you later"
"Laters"
Danni rode her vespa and left and April entered the house, waiting for the moment to have a conversation with her friend.
Avery was in the kitchen trying to make herself breakfast but she failed miserably. April went to the kitchen watching an angry Avery.
"Ave, we need to talk"
"Hey! You are here! Good because I need your help. I can't make my own breakfast; can you believe this? I'm so hungry! I don't think I've had any food in ages!"
"Avery stop" she said. "I need to talk to you"
She saw the seriousness in her voice, so she stopped what she was doing or what she tried to do.
"You got me worried... what is it?"
"You are the one worrying me here..." She sighed as she took a seat and so did Avery. "Do you know what you were doing last night?"
"No, not really. I don't remember"
"You were drunk in your own house! Alone with some college guys in your own house! Partying and god knows why and what you were even about to do!"
"I did what?!"
"You heard me... stop it. Whatever stupid thing you do just stop it. I don't want to lose you in any way or for you to get hurt by someone and god forbids hurting yourself"
"What did I exactly do?" She frowned.
"You were dancing on the table with some guys... drunk and I tried to pull you down but you were already tipsy and stubborn to listen or to act and they wanted you in some way" She sighed heavily this time. "Thank god Danni came in the right time and stopped the party before anything could've gone wrong"
"Danni stopped them?"
"Yes, and she helped me carry you to bed then Steve texted me so I let her with you to tuck you in"
"That little..." She groaned. "She didn't say anything this morning!"
"Of course she didn't. She cleaned up your mess all night and the poor girl probably couldn't get enough sleep. You owe her a lot, Avery. In some way, you do"
"She was the one who put the pill and the water beside me" She muttered to herself recalling her memory.

Danni went to her home, changed her clothes but didn't take a nap instead she left for her other job, she needed the money, she needed it before anything else, it was her priority and her life motto.
"Danni, hey" said uncle Josh as he patted her back.
"Hi" she said. "What have we got here?" She pointed at the red Camaro.
"Just a couple of flat tires... it's your call"
"Okay"
She went to the car with tired eyes and with a sigh, she brought the jack and the lug wrench and started working on the flat tires.
"I've always wondered how a poor garage like us get to fix those kinds of cars"
"Because we are the best" he said proudly and she chuckled.
"That we are but it's weird"
"Life is full of surprises, Danni"
"It sure is"
Her phone rang and she grabbed it from her pocket flipping the screen and answered without seeing the caller's ID.
"Hello?" she asked.
"Did you get some rest?"
"Chloe!"
"Who else would it be?" She chuckled.
"No, it's just I answered without checking the caller's name"
"Okay enough, stop getting off the topic. Did you do what I said?"
"Uh..." She rubbed her forehead. "Yeah, I did and I feel better now"
"Liar!" she said as she giggled.
"No... no... I slept... okay yes I lied" She gave up.
"Tell me where you are and I'll come"
"Why?"
"You don't want me to come?"
"No! No, that's not what I meant, of course I want you to come" She was getting nervous.
"Relax Danni, I was just teasing you" She laughed.
"Do you really wanna know where I'm?" she asked as she shifted from one foot to the other.
"If it doesn't bother you"
"It doesn't" She smiled as she gave her the address to her uncle's garage.
