Chapter 35 : RIGHT!
ISABELLA'S POV
" Isabella?"
Why is she calling me now ?
"Yes?" I ask , clearly uninterested.
"Drink my coffee if you want , you lazy ass " Ro says
" If by lazy you mean sweet , you are
right "
" I wouldn't know , but if you want I can explore that "
He did not just say that !
I roll my eyes at that then continue to look at Jessica,
who's eyes are resembling a pendulum from Royal to me and then back to him .
"Jessica?"
"What?!"
"What 'what' ? You called me "
"Yaa , we'll be practicing after an hour!"
"Okay?"
" Babe come with me " She says and Royal nods .
She turns around while flipping her 'oh so straight hair' and goes towards the counter with her 'oh so sexy walk'.
I look at Marv who's also staring at her , specifically her buttock or waist which is bouncing in a rhythm,
'ting tong , ding dong'
I snap my fingers in front of his eyes and then he straightens up !
Boys!
I just continue to stare at his amused look.
" So?" I ask
" So what?"
" So you also admire her?"
" Looks aren't everything ..." he starts
" But she got them just in case , that's what you wanna say, right ?"
" Kinda " he says sheepishly

My kinda sorta crush has a crush on my best friend's girlfriend who hates my mere existence,
what else do I need !
" So you do like me? " he asks
" N-O-P-E "
" Well your actions says otherwise "
Yaa , but that's because I'm a frustrated teen.
" Well that's because your mind is playing games " I respond smartly
" Oh is it?"
" Yaa"
" So you are telling me , it doesn't affect you if I ?"
" If you? " I say confidently
" If I take your hand in mine and kiss your back of it "
He does exactly what he said while staring at my deep black eyes.
Breath in breath out .
Why am I getting nervous ?
Because this is the first time , someone's doing it with that particular intention.
" So?" He asks while he continues to play with my fingers
" So what?"
" You are so unromantic " he sighs and drops my hand down .
Can someone tell him that I call myself hopeless romantic ?!
He stands up and sits beside me .
Fudge...
"So what if I ask you on a date?"
"I don't know " I manage to say
He shifts even closer and I look around , hoping others are not looking at us .
PDA , definitely not my thing rn!
Just then my eyes connect with Ro and we both look away .
Before I could comprehend what's happening , his mouth is near my cheeks and he whispers again ,
"So what if I ask you on date?"
"I'll think about it! "
"Oh okay " saying that , he pulls apart.
" Just give me a call or something " he says
"Yaa" I reply and then he leaves .
I gulp down my drink instantly and then look at Ro who's busy with his friends .
I immediately call Ro .
I know I can just walk up to him and talk but I don't wanna make a fool out of myself in front of his friends and don't wanna have more 'Jessica' time .
I look at him and he's busy staring at the phone .
Dude pick up !
He looks up , then after our eye contact , he declines the call .
Seriously ?
I think he'll directly come here .
But this weirdo doesn't even move .
So I send him a text ,
'Ro?'
To which he replies ,
'Yaa?'
'I want to talk to you'
' I'm busy rn '
'I need hardly 5 mins!'
'Can we talk later?'
'Ro just 5 mins pls '
'Can't you see I'm busy with my friends?'
Is he for real ?!
'Busy doing what? Just chit chatting and gulping down food!'
'Listen , I'll ttyl'
I receive the text and he keeps his phone back in his pocket .
Fudge you Ro!

I immediately exit the canteen and dial Marv's number.
"Yes Bella?"
"Can we meet like right now?"
"Yaa , are you still in the canteen?"
"Just outside of it"
"Okay , I'll come" he says and hungs up .
After a minute or so , he comes by
I mumble , " Yes"
"What?" he asks
"Yes" I repeat
"Yes as in yes??"
"Yes as in yes"
He immediately pulls me in a hug .
"So I'll text you the details . It will be a surprise " he says and then pulls away .
He walks a step behind , sends a flying kiss my way before leaving .
I smile at his sweet gestures .
I decide to go to washroom before going to the dance room so
I turn around only to find Ro at the other end staring intensely at me .
"Now what are you doing here?" I ask in disbelief
"Is this why you called me for?
To show me your everlasting love?"
" Look , I recalled our promise about taking each other's opinions about relationship stuffs "
" So?"
" So when he asked me on a date ,
I told him I'll need some time to think over it and that's what I wanted to talk to you about . But guess what ? You are 'Busy' so I took the decision and said 'yes' "
"You said 'yes' ?!"
" Yes for the date , not for relationship yet"
"Yet? So you have already decided and if you actually like him then who am I to intervene? Anyways , do whatever you want , it's not like it's gonna affect me in any way "
"Yaa I mean if there was something between us then only it would have affected us , but there's nothing , right?"
"Right!" He agrees and I gulp .
" Okay , Jessica is calling me , I gotta go "
"Jessica , right ! Okay , bye"
"Bye" he says and walks away .

All steps were already decided .
All we had to do was practice , practice and practice . So we did just that .
I still couldn't move my body as flixibily as Jessica could , but I was giving my best .
My expressions were on point ,
at least that's what I think so that won't be an issue .
But the charisma she has is really worth praising .
"Let's do it two more times and call it a day" she said and I nodded
She played the song again and
we stood in our positions .
Just as the beat started , she turned around first , followed by me doing the same after the next beat .
Yes , we don't get along but our dance steps synced so we were more than happy with it .
Just as my inner voice suggested me to be nicer , I just did that by avoiding communication with here .
For some unknown reasons , she did the same .
It was like we were just there for business !

I came here before her , so I started practicing right away but I couldn't focus because of various thoughts running in my mind like always .
1 I agreed to go on a date with my Crush!
2 I am happy , no doubt but there's something eating me alive and whatever that something is , it's messed up.
Ro was acting a meanie for no apparent reason , like everything was going well and suddenly he acts like somebody just possessed his body .
"Isabella?"
"Yeah ?"
"You are doing it all wrong "
"Sorry . I got distracted "
"Alright . But don't you get distracted during the show .
If our dance turns out to be flop just because of you , you just wait and watch "
"I understand , don't worry "
"Are you alright?"
"Why?"
"You are being ... um ..nice "
"That's because I am nice " unlike you .
"Whatever makes you sleep at night " she says and replays the song .

I check my phone to find out that
I have 2 missed calls from Marv ,
1 from Chris and messages from Dad and Day .
' Sweetie how's you?'
'I am good . Just dancing . What about you?' I type and send .
I open the next message .
' Bell! Bell! Bell!'
'Don't worry ,
I was just missing you so .
Call me when you get free .
But before 3 am , because I'll be completing my assignment by then and after that I'll be off to sleep'
After I was done reading it , I send,
'For a second I thought something happened ! You duffus! '
'Alright , I'll call you at 4 am to ruin your so called sleep and that is exactly when you'll be dreaming about Tom Cruise ( ; '
Duffus , she gets irritated by that term , especially when she's way too smart for her own good .
Next is Chris's message ,
' I'll be coming tonight ! I don't know how and why I am saying this ,
but I missed you '
So I reply ,
' Aww ! I missed you too! If that's what you think I'd say , then you are wrong '
' Caught ya ! I'm just kidding . I'm also excited to meet ya '
Finally , I called Marv .
"Hey , I am sorry , I was dancing and so "
"It's okay , it's okay . I just wanted to ask you if you have any plans for tonight "
"None as of now "
"Great ! So can we ?"
"Like tonight ?"
"Yes . Around 8:30 pm "
"Um sure"
"Cool "
"So when and where?"
"Not so soon . A pretty lady like you will get a nice surprise"
"Ah , okay . Thanks "
I am not fond of surprises but still...
"Anytime"
"See you soon , bbye " , I say and we hung up
Damn , why is he so sweet ?

"Yeah"
"Great! I'm so happy for you "
"Lu it's just a date"
"Yaa , but isn't this your first date?"
"Yes"
"Then be a little excited"

"Yes , I know you are pumped up for it but still you don't look completely happy "
"I am happy"
"I hope . So what are you wearing ?"
"Clothes?"
"Oh I thought you were planning to be naked on your first date itself " ,
She comments sarcastically
"Very funny"
"You started!"
"Okay fine , I'll be wearing tight jeans and a lose top"
"Bella my dear , you are going on a date and not to your class " she says , her tone resembling a typical mother .
"Lu my dear , I am going on a date and not to a special party " I say , using the same tone
"I don't know anything other than the fact that you are wearing a hot dress!"
"Ugh!"
"Very good"
"Fine , I'm hanging up now "
"You better . After you are all dressed up , send me a picture "
"The back ground will look better"
" Oh god !" She says and hungs up
I open my cupboard where in there are various outfits , most of them are hoodies .
My eyes set on a light green coloured dress in the corner which I wore hardly twice .
It ends just below my knees and looks elegant with its short sleeves and
V neck .
I remember , I bought this with Riley , where in the sales lady suggested
it's twin .
The only difference was that it was backless unlike this one .
Riley liked the other while I went with this one .
Enough of the dress talk !
I get ready in no time .
LOL
I take around an hour or so to finally look less weird and more fashionable .
I decide to tie a messy bun first but
it ended up being too messy to look cute so I go with a high pony .
Applying a little make up to make myself 'date' worthy , I finish up .
There's still time for Marv to come ,
so I try to click some insta worthy pics .
I am finally satisfied with the 22nd pic!
I send my picture to Day and Lu .
Lu sees it immediately .
It's like she was just waiting that ,
' when will Bella get ready , click a picture and send me so I can knock some fashion sense into her! '
My phone rings and I pick it up immediately because now I'm getting bored .
"Hey Marv , you reached here?"
"Marv? It's LUCY here " I hear .
" Oopsie "
"That excited ha ?" she asks
"Why did you call?"
"About that! Who on Earth wears sport shoes on a freaking dress?!"
"That would be me " I say while scratching the back of my head
"Yaa that can be only you , now get rid of it and wear sandal , heel or something of that sort "
"Okay mother"
My phone beeps and it's Marv this time
"I'll talk to later , Marv's here"
"Yaa yaa , go and enjoy . Use protection "
"We won't even kiss and you are talking about ... that "
"The fact that you are not even spelling the word s-e-x sex confirms that you are not experiencing your first kiss anytime soon"
"I gotta go , bye and thanks a ton"
"Anytime " she says and we hung up
I have already experienced my first kiss and I will never ever forget about it !
