Take me to the forest...
where I can walk barefoot on the moss carpeted grounds
A white dainty silk dress dragging behind me
I won't wither away I promise
My mind is awake and my heart is not heavy
That part of me that is always missing will be found
I want to belong somewhere and have a place to call home
The trees listen and talk to each other
One day they're going to whisper "Time to welcome a lost child home".
I will welcome the cold chill that enters my heart.
If I ever wither away in the forest... I hope I'll end up being part of the dark rich earth that I call home again.
Even then I won't consider myself lost, but found.
