Chapter 2
April 25, 20XX
The bell rang through the school, alerting the start of lunch. Suya turned to look at Victor and saw him pulling out a lunch box. He turned around to see Jun and Yuuichi talking with each other while seemingly waiting for someone.
Suddenly, the door to the classroom opened. Suya turned around and saw Shoichi, a brown rabbit and a white rabbit. They entered the classroom while greeting a few classmates of his.
They sat near Yuuichi and Jun and greeted them. All of them pulled out their lunch boxes and started talking amongst themselves.
"Hey, Suya." He heard Victor say. He turned towards Victor who was smiling at him. "Let's join them, shall we?" He asked him, pointing his thumb towards Yuuichi's group.
"Huh? Oh yeah, sure!" They took their lunch boxes and headed towards the group.
"Hey Yuuichi. May we join you?" Victor asked them.
Yuuichi looked up and smiled. "Yeah sure! C'mon, drag a few more chairs here." And they did.
"So, who's this newbie, Vic-kun?" The brown rabbit asked.
"Oh, this is Suyami Haruchiya, but you can call him Suya." Victor replied with a smile.
"Hey..." Suya shyly waved at her.
The brown rabbit leapt up from her seat and jumped in front of Suya, her face right in front of his muzzle.
"Hi! My name is Saya Mizoguchi, nice to meet you!" She greeted him excitedly.
"Calm down, Saya-san. You don't need to jump in front of him like that." The white rabbit said. He then turned his attention towards Suya. "My name is Keisuke Urushihara. Pleased to be your acquaintance."
"Nice to meet you too, Urushihara-san." Suya smiled thankfully at the white rabbit.
"Why the -san? I'm a junior." Keisuke said with a smile.
"Well, I am probably younger than you, so yeah..." Suya replied. But before Keisuke could reply, Suya jumped up. "Oh shit! I need to get Sero! Sorry guys, I need to check on my brother. I'll be right back!"
Suya leapt up and walked out of the classroom. He went down the stairs and reached class 2-B, and opened the door. He got greeted by many stares, but he shook them off. He looked around the room for Sero, and spotted him talking with a wolf and a sabercat.
"Hey Sero, do you want to eat with me in my classroom?" He asked the fox.
Sero looked up towards his brother and smiled. "Of course!" He turned towards the wolf and the sabercat. "Sorry guys, my brother and I wanted to eat together the first day. I'll join you guys tomorrow!"
"Don't worry, we understand. Right Haru-kun?" The sabercat said.
"Shut up, don't call me Haru-kun." The wolf grumbled.
Sero giggled and followed his brother outside the class with his lunchbox.
"Who were they?" Suya asked Sero.
"They were my friends! The sabercat is Kiga, and the wolf is Haruki!" Sero replied.
"Glad to see you've made some friends." Suya smiled at him.
They entered Suya's classroom and walked up to the group.
Suya quickly introduced Sero to the group and sat down. The lot of them talked about many things, from games to school. Then, the topic of Suya's and Sero's age came up.
"Hey Suya..." Keisuke asked him. "How come you are a year younger than me but are still a Senior?"
"Oh," Suya replied. "Well, we actually stayed in America for a few years, where Sero and I studied almost our entire primary school, and as we moved back and sought for a new school, we found out that we were, well, kinda ahead. So they compensated it by allowing us to skip some grades."
"Wow..." Saya muttered. "You lived in America?"
"Yeah, but only for almost 4 years." Sero replied.
"That's amazing. I wish I could live in America..."said Saya."But everyone speaks in English there so I won't understand anything. I found that out when I visited there."
Suya was about to ask something, but Yuuichi gave him a glare that screamed out 'Don't'.
"So, Sero-kun," Shoichi asked with a smile. "Did you make any friends here?"
"Uhh," Sero's face turned red. "Yeah... I made two..."
"Who are they?" Victor asked, though he doesn't know almost 90% of the students in the school.
"Haruki and Kiga." Sero replied.
"Whaaaa?!" Yuuichi and Shoichi exclaimed at the same time. All the others, except for Suya and Victor, looked surprised as well.
"What?" Sero asked, tilting his head to the side.
"Really? Haruki? As in Haruki Koizumi?" Shoichi asked.
"Yeah?"
"Did he insult you in any way?" Yuuichi asked.
"No? Why?"
"That doesn't sound like Haruki at all!" Jun said.
"Really? What is he like then?" Sero asked them.
"Well, he really likes to insult anyone, and is pretty much a delinquent... But he is a good dude! Just... I didn't really expect that he would make friends with a new student..." said Yuuichi.
"Well, he seemed pretty nice to me." Sero said. His face turned red when he thought back as to how Haruki held his chin and looked into his eyes.
"Wait a minute, don't tell me you have a crush on him..." Shoichi muttered, his eyes lingering on Sero.
"What?!" Sero's face turned ten times more red. "I don't have a crush on him!"
"Oh my god he does! Look at the blush on his cheeks!" Saya said.
"I don't!" Sero placed his paw and his cheek, and sure enough, it was considerably warm.
"Well, I guess good luck on your love endeavours then." Suya smiled at Sero.
"B-but... I don't..." Sero muttered.
"The only thing worse than a fool is a fool in denial." Keisuke said with a shrug.
"Wha- Keisuke-san!" Sero glared at Keisuke. "I don't need a reminder, you idiot."
"What? So you accept that you are a fool?" Yuuichi asked with a sly grin.
Sero turned towards Yuuichi with an ice-cold glare. "I will steal your kidneys and sell them on the black market." Yuuichi's eyes turned wide with fear.
Saya grinned madly at Sero. "Hey, I like this kid! He's just like me!"
Sero turned towards Saya with a smile. "Thanks. I have tons of other threats. When we have free time, let me share them with you, okay?"
Saya grinned. "Sure!"
Yuuichi groaned. "Greaaat... now we have another Saya in the group."

"So boys, how was school today?" Their dad asked them.
"It was great dad! We made tons of friends!" Sero said with a smile.
The wolf's eyes widened. "Wow, that's great! I'm happy for you boys!" He smiled and grabbed them into a hug. "Your papa would be happy for you!"
"What is it that I'll be happy for?" Came a deep voice from upstairs. They looked up to see another wolf coming down the stairs.
"Oh honey! Look, our boys made friends on their first day!" Their dad said with a huge smile on his face, his tail wagging uncontrollably.
The other wolf's face cracked into a huge grin. "Atta boys. Now, how many crushes do you guys have?"
Suya's and Sero's faces lit up like lightbulbs at that ask. "Wha- Papa!" Suya exclaimed.
"Hmm?" Papa said.
"Honey, stop teasing them!" Dad said, even though he was clearly laughing at their embarrassed faces as well.
"Now, come on. We know you have someone. Who is it?" Papa asked them.
Sero sighed. "It's a wolf named Haruki for me..."
"Another crush on a wolf? Damn boy, you sure have a thing for us wolves! Let's hope this time you won't lose it!" Papa laughed, making Sero's face turn even more red.
"And what about you, Su-Su?" Papa asked Suya.
"It's a fox named Victor..."
"Heh heh, nice. Our boys have crushes again!" Dad exclaimed.
"Dad, it's not really a big deal..." Sero muttered.
"Not a big deal? I will fail as a gay father if you two each don't get a boyfriend before you graduate highschool!" Papa laughed.
"Yeah, so you two better get boyfriends!" Dad smiled at those two.
"Why do we put up with you two..." Sero mumbled under his breath.
"Because you looove us!" Dad smiled.
"I guess that's enough reason." Suya smiled at them.
"Group hug!" Papa yelled as he scooped everyone into a hug.
Suya and Sero smiled as they were crushed together. They were both thankful that they had amazing fathers and a great brother.
"Now, let's go eat pancakes for dinner!" Dad yelled.
"Woohoo!!!" All of them yelled.

Sorry guys, but I just couldn't resist giving them such a cute gay couple as their parents. I mean, they are a perfect family!
And also pancakes for dinner... Man now I wanna eat pancakes :D
