Evelyn's POV
"Look at those two how adorable" I hear someone say and I feel someone's arms around me.
I opened my eyes to see Esteban asleep, I realized he had no shirt on and his skin was smooth. weird.
"Leave me alone I'm tired" I mumble
"From all that partying? Yeah you dumbass" the unmistakable voice of Kayla says
"Shhh! We're sleeping" I yawn as I get closer into Esteban
"No we're not, not anymore"
"Esteban no! Go back to sleep" I mumble
"I can't do that because we need to leave today" he says and I groan
"Do we have to?" I ask as I look up into his eyes
"We do" he says and I nuzzle into his neck
"Did you guys hook up or?" Kayla asks
"No!" We both yell and I get up from the bed
"Definitely not, we were just um"
"It was a rough night for uh me" he says and I smile sympathetically at him
"Ah okay well we're going to get going, all our stuff is packed but we'll see you later" Kayla says and I nod.
Chase and Kayla both leave the room leaving Esteban and I in the room alone.
"You didn't have to" I tell him and he smiles as he kisses my forehead
"They'd ask questions if they knew it were you, now come on let's go to your room and finish packing you stuff because mine is done"
"Of course it is" I tease
"Dork" He says as he ruffles my hair
"Hey leave my hair alone!"
"It was already messy when you woke up"
"I hate when you're right" I huff
"Come on let's go to your room" he says as he pulls me up from the bed
"I'm tired"
"Too bad"
Tobin's POV
"We're all set to go right?" Christen asks me
"Hmm? Oh yeah we're good, come on princess we're leaving" I say and Julieta yawns as she walks over to me
"Up" she says and I smile as I pick her up
"Do you know where Evelyn is?" I ask Chris
"I think in her room? Why?" She asks as she grabs the suitcases
"Umm no reason I just need to talk to her"
"About what?" She asks
"Something about college"
"Oh that's right okay well I think she's in her room if you want to go talk to her"
"I'll wait until after" I say as I walk over to her and kiss her cheek "Here you carry J and I'll take the suitcases"
"I love you"
"I love you too but now grab Julieta so we can get going and not be late like last time" I whisper
"That was your fault Tobin" she says and I chuckle
"It was worth it" I whisper and walk out of the room with the suitcases
Chris, Julieta and I walked down to the elevator when we saw Mal and Dansby.
"Hello Mal" I say
"Hi Tobin, Chris, bubba"
"Mally!" Julieta exclaims
"Hold it!" Someone yells and I put my hand in between the doors
"Oh hey mom and Toby"
"Hi kiddo" I say and she smiles
"Esteban hurry up" she says and he comes in
"Ms. Press Ms. Heath" he says and I laugh
"Tobin is fine kid" I say and he nods
"Please call me Christen, Esteban I'm not old" she says
"Oh okay yeah sorry"
"It's okay kid don't need to panic, hey kiddo control your friend" I tell Evelyn and she shakes her head
"I told you to call them by their names not what you did" I hear her say
"I was trying to be nice" he says
"I mean what a gentleman, right? Thank you for considering that" Chris says and I shrug
"Hey Ev" Mal says and all of a sudden the tension built up quickly.
"Mallory" she says not looking at her
"Can I talk to you later?" She asks Evelyn and I look at Chris
"If you don't know I don't know" she whispers
"No, not later not tomorrow not ever" Evelyn says sternly with a hint of anger as she looks directly towards Mal
"Hey! Don't talk to my girlfriend like that!" Dansby yells
"Hey! Don't yell at her either you need to calm down" Esteban says
"I need to calm down?! She walked in on us last night!" He yells and my eyes widen "She was crying as Mal and I were trying to have a good time! But this little bitch ruined everything!"
"Hey! Do not call my daughter that!" Chris yells and I grab the noise canceling headphones and place them on Julieta
"You need to calm down! There's a little girl in here!" I yell
This elevator need to hurry up.
Christen's POV
"Yeah? Well maybe control your daughter" Dansby yells
"That's enough!" Tobin yells
The elevator stops as it rings and the door opens.
"You! Need to be taught a lesson!" Esteban yells as he pulls Dansby out of the elevator
"Esteban let it go" Evelyn says
"No! I will not tolerate it!"
"Esteban look at me let it go or you'll just make it worse for her and you don't want her to be mad at you do you?" I ask and he shakes his head "Let it go"
"Fine"
"Come on let's go" I say and look down to see Julieta asleep. Thank goodness.
"I hope you're happy with yourself" Tobin tells Mal
"Tobin!" I yell
"Coming dear" she says
"Evelyn please" Mal says and I turn around
"You leave her alone okay? This isn't the Mal I know, you didn't even do anything to prevent anything Dansby said, you didn't even try to stop him!" I whisper yell
"I-"
"Mal you need to get yourself together before you talk to her again" I say and I kiss her forehead "I love you but you need to get yourself together"
"Yeah okay, but what if someone else sweeps her off her feet? Then what do I do?" She asks and I sigh
"Then you just have to accept the fact that someone did" I say sadly and she starts crying "Mal she loves you but you put her through well hell"
"I didn't mean to" she sobs out
"I know Mal but you did" I say
"Mally? No cry! No cry! Why you crying?" Julieta asks as she wakes up
"Nothing bubba" she says and kiss her head
"Sissy make it better!" She yells and I smile sadly "Sissy! Mally cry! Mommy sisssy no answer"
"She's tired baby and we have to go" I say
"I'll see you there" Mal says and I nod
"I love you Mal but get it together" I say as I give her an empathetic look
"Yeah I got it" she says and I walk over to Tobin
"Let's go" I say
"How'd it go?" She asks
"We'll talk later" I whisper and she nods.
