Dear Diary,
These last couple of months have been hectic. I finally reunited with my brothers. Got kidnapped. Found Elijah. Rose died of a werewolf bite, and I decided to let her die. She had a long run. Damon hasn't really spoken to me since, but my twin has in which I am grateful for. Tonight's the decade dance, I know Klaus will make a move but in a different body and I will found out who it is extremely fast, I know my best friend and can recognise his power radiating off of him.

VANESSA'S POV:
Tonight was the decade dance. Klaus has told me about the 20's and how boring and not his forte he would say. He prefered murdering humans and haunting other supernaturals. I can finally see my best friend after 2 years.
"Nessie we have to go to school!" Stefan yelled up to me.
"Okay Stef!" I yelled.
I walked into school and saw everyone staring at me. What's everyone's problem today?
"STOP LOOKING AT ME PLEASE AND THANK YOU!" I yelled at the top of my voice and everyone looked away from me.
"What was that all about?" Stefan asked.
"I have no idea" I responded with confusion in my tone.
When we entered, history in Alaric's class I felt this weird power overcome me. And there he was in Alaric's body all I could do was smirk.
"Klaus..." I mumbled knowing that no one could hear except for him, due to me linking our thoughts together.
He turned and smirked. "Hello love" He told me, as I linked his mind to mine so I wouldn't blow his cover.
"Alaric's body, seriously Klaus."
"Well I had to be convincing love, it was the only way to get close to my doppelganger." He smirked as he told me that.
"Of course."
I unlinked our minds so that he could go back to teaching the class.
"Let's talk Decade Dance." Alaric/klaus said
"We are learning about the 60s or 20s Mr Saltzman. Are you okay?" Elena asked
"I'm fine miss Gilbert, I thought we should speak about tonight." Klaus smirked at Elena, then glancing towards me. Stefan looked on edge, the way Alaric was looking at me was unnatural.
Stefan mouthed to me "Link our minds Nessie." He stated. And I did what he said.
STEFAN AND VANESSA'S MIND CONVERSATION:
"Nessie, why was Alaric looking at you so intriguingly"
"I have no idea Stef." I lied
"Right, well I know your lying, we are twins and we can feel each other's pain and know what he other is thinking when we allow them to." He reminded me.
"I know Stef, but I can't tell you right now."
END OF THE MIND CONVERSATION.
Little did Stefan know I also put Klaus in our conversation, he was silent and made sure that Stefan couldn't sense him in our minds. I will never betray my best friend, unless it came to Elijah or Kol. Maybe Rebecca.
At lunch; Elena, Caroline, Bonnie and I sat round a table speaking about Klaus. But I tried not to mention anything. This girl in our year came up to Elena and I.
"Hi Elena, Klaus said save him a dance tonight. Oh and Vanessa, please save him a dance as well and come find him as well." After that she left. All I could do was smirk, he loved playing these games, driving his victims insane with fear.
Stefan walked over to us asking what happened. Elena told him everything. Typical.
AT THE BOARDING HOUSE:
"He made his first move at school today, towards Vanessa and Elena." Stefan stated very concerned.
"Well, considering I can kill.." Bonnie was going to continue until I butt in.
"Your going to kill Klaus, hell no I'm not letting that happen and second of all he can't be killed by a little baby witch like you no offence Bon!" I yelled angrily.
As soon as I finished, Klaus in Alaric's body came through the door, with weapons that could hurt but not kill him.
"Well are you sure you can kill him, he is the great evil" Alaric/Klaus said. I rolled my eyes. Of course he's going to boost his ego while being Alaric.
"Yes I know I can" Bonnie stated bluntly.
All I could do was snicker. They all looked at me.
"What is so funny Vanessa?" Damon asked leaning over the table towards me.
"Nothing. Actually, well I find it funny that you can think you can kill him. But you can't. Have you guys not learnt anything of what I have taught you about the UNKILLABLE ORIGINAL VAMPIRES?" I yelled. I saw Alaric/Klaus smirk in the corner of my eye.
"I'm not going to be sitting here, while you guys are planning to kill him. He's my family too as well as Stefan and Damon's due to me marrying and being soulmates to his younger brother. If you want to kill him tonight you will have to go through me. And you all know you can't go through the ORIGINAL TRIBRID!" I smirked and left.
AT THE DECADE DANCE:
I walked around the school looking for Klaus. I checked the history rooms. Nothing. Then I heard Alaric's voice. And so I turned around.
"Well hello love, you look ravishing." He smirked and came over to me and gave me a giant hug. He doesn't do that to anyone except me and some family.
"Hello, Nik you look charming yourself, but I prefer the old body."
"Me too, love. You have to be careful what you say, Kol would have our heads."
"He already knows Klaus remember. Something called a soulmate bond" I replied in a duh tone.
"I am very aware. So sorry Kol I guess. But she is my best friend as you know." He chuckled.
I chuckled with him.
"We have to go now, we have to suprise Elena and your brothers." He stated
"Okay let's go"
ELENA'S POV:
I can't believe Vanessa. She left and didn't tell us anything about Klaus. I'm angry and annoyed.
"Elena let's go." Stefan called
"Coming"
When we got the the decade dance, there was an announcement.
"This songs for Elena from Klaus." I looked around startled and found Alaric.
"Alaric, Klaus , he made his move." Just then Damon and Stefan walked over.
"Well that was a douche move." Damon joked.
Out the corner of my eye I saw Vanessa smirking at the song lyrics, she noticed me and ran off.
Damon and Stefan left to go find Caroline and Bonnie.
"Elena, Klaus has Jeremy!" Alaric yelled in concern. We both ran inside the school.
VANESSA'S POV:
Classic Klaus. I smirked and looked up; I saw Elena staring at me. I looked at her, smiled and ran into the school.
I heard Klaus bring a very scared Elena who was looking for her brother with Alaric. How has she not realised yet.
I came out of the shadows and saw Klaus start laughing.
"Why hello Elena, pleasure to finally meet you." Klaus smirked.
"Klaus..." Elena said with fear rising in her.
"Vanessa, your helping him?" She asked.
"Well yes Elena, that's what best friends do." I looked up a Klaus and saw him smile at me.
Just then Damon and Stefan attacked Klaus. I threw them off of him with my hybrid eyes showing and magic radiating off me. I gave them both powerful migraines, that was painful. While I was distracted I felt a dagger pointed at my back. No. All I heard was..
"Sorry Love."
And then I blacked out.
