Luna's POV
I sat there and listened to Star and Foxy talk about school and friends. Then Shadow came in, closely fallowed by Sonic and Tails. Shadow went over to Star, and Sonic sat on one of the chairs.
"Hey. Is there anymore chili dogs?" Sonic asks.
"No. Two hedgehogs ate them all," Foxy smirks at Star and Sonic. They both shrug.
"Im sorry that those are the best things in the world," Sonic says. Star nods with him before she starts to talk with Shadow again.
Then, the doorbell rang.
"That's probably some of the guys now," Tails says as he gets up and walks off into the hall again. I hear him open the door and then a few seconds later two kids come running in.
They both looked about the same age, and they didn't look too young. One is a brown wolf with long brown hair that went down her back. Her eyes are a nice green. She's wearing a plain green dress and grey boots. She was smiling.
Next to her is a pink skunk with yellow stripes and hair. She has bright pinkish-purplish colored eyes. Her and the wolf are about the same height, and this skunk had the same kind of dress as the wolf, except her is pink. She was wearing yellow boots and like the wolf she was smiling at me.
Both of them run up and hug Foxy.
I look back at the door and in comes Tails, fallowed by a black wolf. She had pink hair with black highlights. Her eyes are the same color as her pink hair. She was wearing black jeans, and a black shirt with a pink rose on it. On her hands are pink gloves with black tips. On her feet she had black boots. She smiles shyly at me.
I turn back to Foxy who doesn't have the two girls hugging her anymore. Instead they are talking to Sonic.
"Alright, Luna, these two crazy kids are Wolfa the Wolf and Stella the Skunk," Foxy gestures to the kids who look up for a moment at me.
"Hey," they say in unison.
"Hi," I say back before they turn back to talking to Sonic. Well more like pestering him.
"Wolfa is my little sister and Stella is her best friend," Foxy says.
"And this is...," Tails says. I look over to the black wolf, who smiles shyly again as she interrupts Tails.
But when she talked, she didn't sound so shy at all, "Nice to meet you. Rosez is the name," she says.
"Luna," I say back with a nod.
"Hey cousin," Foxy says. "Where's Kat at?"
"She couldn't make it. Her and Sally are working on something," Rozes replies. "So I brought the kids over."
"That must of been fun," Tails rolls his eyes. I look at them confused. Then Tails explains, "Wolfa and Stella can get out of hand.... And Rosez can't touch anything, because whatever she touches passes out."
"That must suck," I say and she shrugs.
"It comes in handy. Besides, I got Tails here working on some better gloves for me," Rosez says. "Right Tails?"
"Right," he nods. "Well, I think we should move this downstairs. My kitchen can't fit everyone."
"Hey! Wolfa! Stella! Wanna race down stairs?" Sonic asks. Wolfa gets a competitive look on her face, but Stella looks skeptical.
"Bring it on!" Wolfa says as she starts to run. Stella starts to run too. Sonic yawns before he runs super fast after then, and from somewhere else in the house about a minuet later, I hear a triumphant cry and an angry one.
I guess Sonic must of beat them to the finish.
Another knock comes from the door. "I got it," Tails shouts as he runs for the door. I look around, and see that Foxy and Rosez left.
"Come on Luna," Star says as she starts to fallow Shadow out the door.
I quickly fallow them out into the hall and down some stairs. We end up in a large rec room place. On the couch was Sonic and Wolfa playing some sort of game, with Stella keeping score and Foxy and Rosez were watching.
"What are they doing?" I ask Star who is standing next to me.
"Playing a video game," she says.
"Cool," I say quietly, almost in a whisper. We walk over to an empty couch and sit down, me at one end, Shadow at the other and Star in the middle. We were facing the tv, but we aren't in the way of anyone playing the game.
Then I hear a creak from the stairs and down comes three girls and a floating blue and yellow puff ball like thing.
The first one is a pink hedgehog, with short quill and emerald green eyes. She's wearing a red dress, with a white trim and red and white boots. Her skin is apricot. Like Shadow, she had gold rings on her wrist. She's also wearing white gloves and a red headband.
The girl behind her is a cream and orange colored rabbit with long ears. She is wearing an orange dress with a blue bow in it, and orange and white shoes. The rabbit has hazel eyes, and the blue thing is fallowing her. She looks younger then Wolfa and Stella.
Fallowing her is a white bat with black wings. She has aqua blue eyes and make-up on. Her outfit is a black one piece with a pink heart shape at the top. She also has white gloves and white boots with the same pink heart design on them.
They came over to our couch, and started introducing themselves to me.
"Hi," said the pink hedgehog, "I'm Amy Rose. It's nice to meet you," she says as she shakes me hand.
"I'm Cream," says the little rabbit, "and this is Cheese the Chao," she gestures to the blue puff ball.
"Chao Chao!" says Cheese. I smile at them and shake their hands when they offer them to me.
"I'm Rouge," says the bat.
"Nice to meet you guys," I say. "Im Luna the Fox."
"It's great to have you here Ms. Luna," says Cream. Cheese says the same thing as earlier.
"Yeah. Maybe later we could all go shopping!" Amy says excitedly.
"We don't know if it's even safe for her to go outside yet," Star says. I nod.
"I tried," she sighs. I laugh.
"No, I would actually love to go shopping once I get a chance though. These are my only clothes," I say, looking at my battered dress. It's been through a lot.
"These are your only clothes?" Rouge asks.
"Yeah. Other then this, I have my homemade pajama dress back at Mephiles base," I say. They have confused looks on their faces.
"Long story," Shadow says.
"Yeah. We'll talk about it later," Star says. I think she gave them a 'drop it' look. They do.
"Alright. Hey, can I sit here?" Amy asks. I coot over to give her some room, and she sits in between Star and me. Cream sits on the floor, and Rouge sits in the loveseat that was on Shadow's end of the couch.
Amy and Star start to talk, Cream and Cheese just watch the tv, and Rouge and Shadow start to talk quietly.
Not too long later a red echidna comes from upstairs. He has violet colored eyes and long red hair. He came up to me.
"Hi, I'm Knuckles," he says.
"I'm Luna the Fox," I say. He nods before he goes and sits in the love seat with Rouge.
I lean back and mindlessly watch the tv. That is until Tails comes back down with two more people.
The first is a purple she-cat, with her hair pulled back in a pony tail with a red scrunch. On her forehead is a red gem, and she has pretty yellow eyes. She's wearing a purple shirt with a hot pink design and white pants. Her shoes are hot pink and white boot like shoes. She's also wearing white gloves.
The second one is a guy. A silver-whitish hedgehog with a crazy style that his quills are in. His eyes are a happy yellow color. He's wearing yellow white and cyan shoes, white shorts and a shirt with a cyan design on it. His gloves are white, but they have a blue circular design on them, the same one as the shirt.
They both walk over to me.
"Hi, I'm Luna," I say before they could say anything.
"I'm Blaze the Cat," the purple cat says. "It's nice to meet you."
"And I'm Silver the Hedgehog," says the guy. "And ditto to what she said."
I laugh a little as they find chairs to sit in. Tails comes over to us and smiles as he sits down next to me, on the end of the couch.
"Wow," I say to him. "Is this everybody?"
"No, not quite," he says as he kinda laughs. "There's more of us, but some couldn't make it today."
I nod. "You guys have a pretty big group."
"Yeah, and the great thing is is that we are all friends. Even if some of us are cranky sometime. We all look out for each other, you know?" he says.
"No, I don't know. The only person who ever looked after me for ten years now is Matrix. Without her I wouldn't be here," I sigh. "I hope Mephiles didn't find out..."
"Who's Matrix?" he asks. I smile sadly at him.
"The maid, but to me she's my second mom. She was the only one who watched out for me, and made sure that I ate. Helped me heal my wounds," I chuckle some, "She even taught me some kick butt moves. And, she got me out last night. She knew of a secret pipe that let me get out unnoticed."
"Wow," he says.
"Yeah," I say. "All I know is that I want to help her get out too. Someday..."
"I could help you with that," he says.
I shrug, "If you want to."
He nods. "I do. I feel bad for you for having to live there all that time."
"Don't be. You can't change the past, only the future," I say. "And I'm just hoping for a better tomorrow."
"HEY!" I hear Wolfa shout.
Both Tails and I look over to the noise. It was Shadow. He had unplugged the tv.
"Dude! We were playing on that!" Sonic complains.
Shadow growls. "Yeah, and I said its time to turn it off cause we are having a meeting, not play time."
"Stop fighting you two," Star says from beside me.
"Yeah. I swear you two act like such drama queens," Amy rolls her eyes.
All the girls laugh and I join in. Shadow rolls his eyes and Sonic does too.
"So, what's this meeting about?" Wolfa asks.
"We need to find Luna a place to stay so that she'll be safe," Tails says. "At least until we know that Mephiles isn't going after her."
"Right," Shadow says. "And it has to be someone who can fight."
"She can stay at our place," Star says. "If that's ok with you."
Star turns to me. "I'm fine where ever," I say.
"Is it ok with you Shadow?" Star asks. He shrugs.
"If she likes sleeping on a couch," he says.
"I don't mind," I say. "Thats probably better then my old bed."
"Is that ok with everyone?" Shadow asks and everyone agrees. "Ok, you can go back to playing."
He plugs the tv back in, and it lights back up.
"Thanks," Wolfa says. "Now, back to beating you at Mario Kart."
I turn away, and smile. Wow, these guys are all nice. And, they said that they are going to protect me. If I knew that these guys were here, I would of tried to escape earlier.
But, I didn't. Oh well. I'm out now, and I'm not ever going back unless I'm taking someone back out.
"So Luna? Did you still want to go shopping?" Amy asks.
"Like I said, it would be nice to get some new clothes. Only thing is... I don't have any money...." I say, looking down.
"Don't worry about that," Foxy says as she comes over. "I'll just use Kat's credit card, and then you got money."
"And why do you have Kat's credit card?" Star asks.
She shrugs. "She gave it to me saying that Luna probably needed some clothes. Her gift to you for not being here today."
My eyes go wide as I say, "Thank you."
"Thank my friend when ya meet her," Foxy says back.
"Who's going shopping with us!?" Amy yells above the noise. Almost every girl said yes except Wolfa and Stella.
"I'm going to beat Sonic! Have fun old people," Wolfa says as she keeps on playing.
"Yeah, and I'm going to watch. This is just too funny," Stella says.
Amy shrugs, "Suit yourselves. To the mall!"
We all get up and leave. The mall. Oh boy.
No POV
.........At Mephiles' base.................
In a dark office, thats where Mephiles and Kicker are. Mephiles was standing quietly behind his desk, watching Kicker scream and shout as he had a little temper tantrum.
"Where the 'ell is she!?" he screams out as he paces the floor. "I'm going out to find her! Roight now!"
"No you're not," Mephiles says. Kicker stops his pacing and faces him.
"And why the hell not?! It's my bloody fiancée!" Kicker yells out.
"We'll get her back, just wait," Mephiles says.
"Wait? Wait!? Why would we do that when she's probably only a few miles away!"
Mephiles doesn't answer, and Kicker doesn't keep on pestering him. Instead he resumes his pacing, until two guards came in holding a magenta crocodile, otherwise known as Matrix.
Kicker growled at her before he went off to go stand in a corner, stopping his pacing. Mephiles smiled evilly.
"Well. Luna disappears and her most best friend is out of her bed. Hmmmm...." Mephiles says as he walks out from behind his desk. Matrix has her head held high.
"I was out for a walk," she growled at him.
"You're lying," Mephiles retorts. Matrix doesn't even finch. "And you're scared."
A single drop of sweat goes down her face.
"Where's the girl," he asks her. Her green eyes look away, but he grabs her face and makes her face him. "Where's the girl," he repeats.
"She has a name you know," Matrix finally speaks.
"I'm well aware of that," Mephiles smirks.
Kicker was watching the interrogation from his corner. With Mephiles getting no where, he got angry.
"Tell us where she is!" Kicker yells out suddenly.
"I will never say where she went. I would rather die then see her get married to the likes of you," Matrix yells back.
"That can be arranged ya mangy croc!" he yells back.
"Calm down you two," Mephiles growls before he turns back to Matrix. "I have a feeling that I know where she's at. If you don't tell me, then I'll still find her."
Matrix looked between Kicker and Mephiles. Then, she growls, "I still will not tell you."
"Fine. Have it your way. She'll be back before you know it anyway. If you're even here to see that day," Mephiles says. "Take her away and lock her up in the darkest cell you can find."
The two guards nod as they drag a growling Matrix off. Mephiles turns to Kicker, and a smile curves on his lips.
"Well, if ya know where she's at... Why don't we go get her?" Kicker asked.
"Just wait. We'll get her back soon enough. And maybe we'll be able to get all the emeralds and all the Freedom Fighter as well. If this all works out," Mephiles says, and Kicker smiles.
"Then Luna and I will get married?"
"Yes..." Mephiles says. "Now get out of my office."
Kicker quickly does as he was told, and Mephiles retired to his chair.
"Oh, this will work," he says evilly. "It will."
A/N
Wow, Luna is going to the mall. I wonder how that'll turn out....
And Mephiles has a plan. That can't be good...
Idk I'm just throwing things out there that you guys were already thinking. So I'm physic. And yes I had more coffee. That I why keep on talking
