Hannah's p.o.v
They wouldn't let me in but I couldn't imagine the pain Kate must be going through. I'm never having kids. sitting in this maternity ward waiting room with vicki and Chloe has been like listening to like 8 women dying a horrible death.
Finally they let us in and Kate looks wiped out. she's holding the cutest little baby, it's little face. I just melted and I can see Chloe and vicki did too. she manages to smile up at us and I gently hug her.
" Congratulations hunni " I say and the others all congratulate her too.
" So what is it!?" Chloe squeals.
" A boy" kate whispers and looks fondly down at the child. at first she wasn't sure if she was going to keep it but she decided that she wouldn't be able to let it go and now I see why.
" Aw, he's hella cute" I say and stroke his head lightly, the others continue to fuss over him and I turn to matt and hug him.
" And congrats to you too" I say.
"Thanks, he's just amazing, I can't believe I'd be happy to be a dad but wow I can't even explain."
"Well I think you'll be an excellent father" I say and pat his shoulder.
" I hope so, mine was lousy, I just want the best for him" he sighs " I just really hope he's mine not Luke's" he says and tears brim in his eyes but I know he'd never show weakness this publicly.
" Your already twice the dad he'll ever be" I say and we get asked to let Kate rest.
Kate's p.o.v
When I wake up I see Matt cradling our baby and my heart could burst. its the best thing I could ever wake up to.
"How are my two best boys?" I smile.
" Great, amazing !" Matt kisses me and hands me the baby.
" We need to think of names" I say and rock him.
" I like Thomas " Matt says " but then again I like Elijah" he rubs his face with his hands. " oh I don't know you
choose " he says smiling.
" I like jack" I say and smile up at Matt " what do you think?" He smiles widely and nods kissing my forehead then the baby's.
"Jack it is" he says and we're so happy then a nurse comes in with a clipboard.
" We have the DNA tests if your ready" she says and I gulp. I pray and pray pray its Matt but there's still a chance...
" Yeah um were ready" Matt says and tightly holds my hand.
"I'm sorry to say, your not the father Mr Healy" I burst into tears and the nurse leaves. Matt holds me tightly I think he's crying too.
" It's so unfair!" I scream and sob like I've never sobbed before. this hurt more than childbirth, trust me id know.
